I got a Darmoshark M5 Air one week ago, it is definitely pretty nice. But I don't know how it would be for very long playing session...

Imo no the mouse is bigger for fingertip so I recommend a small mouse or an actual fingertip mouse. For a small mouse - x2 cl, mchose l7, beast x mini. Fingertip mouse - darmoshark m5/air, keychron m4, pulsar x2f.

Look into the Darmoshark M5air (new release) its a 30g carbon fiber M5. Ive been maining it the past few days and love it. I would use the extra scroll wheel that has the rubber coating on it. Also the green carbon fiber is beautiful. 😍 use Aliexpress its cheaper ($80 US).

I think you are right. But they don't have any business to be that expensive. We need more 50-80 fingertip mice. Right now there is only keychron K4 and Darmo M5.

I would love if Darmoshark made their M5 Air from plastic and made it same price as regular M5. Or if somebody like Mchose repurposed their top tier PCB from L7 and made fingertip mouse.

I almost pulled the trigger on the m5 but had this randomly pop up on fb marketplace for basically the same price as the m5. I really like the mouse, my only real gripe is the placement of the side buttons. I'm used to hitting them with the middle joint on my thumb but it's just harder with this mouse. Nother other complaints though. The Fenrir Asym is a good bit shorter and wider than the m5 so i'd be curious to see how different it would be to use. I also had an op1 8k but decided it wasn't going to be my main. Great mouse though.

The HSK plus will feel a bit like a GPX and the Darmoshark M5 will feel like a Finalmouse small (Both being with their backs cut off) Personally I love my M5, but you get whatever suits you. HSK is larger, M5 is smaller

What’s your experience with fingertips? I just got a Darmoshark 5 after using OP1 for a while and am in love.

This. Highly dependent on your grip style preference. After getting what I thought would be the best based on popular opinion (which wasn’t wrong) I realized I prefer finger tip style, so the Darmoshark M5 is my main.

I’m really wanting the fenrir asym, but honestly I’d like to try all their fingertip mice. I was using the OP1 for a while before getting my Darmoshark M5, and I’m in love with it. It’s all I use, primarily for shooters.

Yeah no complaints about the OP1, I think I realized it was just a little long for me personally. Nice find! I would’ve done the same. I plan on getting a g-wolves eventually but they are a bit on the pricier side for me personally. Interesting, just tried it out and looks like I use the tip of my thumb with the M5, honestly not something I’d ever thought about haha

In addition the front edges are rounded so better precision when moving the mouse diagonally easily. The M5 is a good mouse too but since I have the Keychron M4, I find that all the other mice have too many "straight" sides, which prevents easy diagonal movements. There are also many other mice like the HTR G-wolves which is great in small hand clawgrip, but expensive. The best value for a small hand is for me the Keychron M4.

Go with the g wolves one. I myself own the M5 and let’s just say the quality control on Darmo products are hit or miss.

Double clicking issues right out the box on mouse button 1 and the middle button. When pressing down higher on m1 the mouse creaks and wobbles.

I’m quite opposite of you when switching to ftip. My tracking is way more fast and accurate while my flicking is worse. I play Overwatch 2 mainly and I notice that my aim on Ashe and McCree are worse and can’t hit anything like I used to. On the other side, Bastion and 76 are way better and improve. I’m using Darmoshark M5 and X2F mainly, coming from XM2w. Looking forward to tryout HSK soon

I have 21cm length hands and have to fingertip grip most mice. I have all the small mice like the HSK Pro, HTR, Darmodhark M5, OP1 and more. I can BARELY claw my G403 with my fingers almost hanging off the front of the mouse, so even though we have large hands I think it’s best we use small mice with FLAT SIDES. Or at least flatish. The curves really get in the way of the thumb imo. I recently got the pulsar crazylight and adore it for fingertip. It has nice flat sides, and enough height and length for my thumb. It also has a lack of a “hip” in the back which is nice. As a bonus it’s also 35g. I also have the Beast X Mini otw and think I will like that one but can’t say yet Also the other guy is right I cut out blanks of supergrips to fit any mouse I use, helps a lot with fingertip grip.

Def not a gimmick. I own a darmoshark M5 and it feels amazing. If u fingertip/claw grip ur mouse, this feels like unlocking a hidden art lol. IMO it felt like I opened up to more better micro precision movements and also it feels air tight with any movement I make. 8K polling rate on that bad boy too. Truly worth every cent imo

As far as I'm aware, my current setup is my endgame. I can't find anything better that's readily available/trustworthy: * Redragon M811W-RGB-PRO * Ergonomic tilt (would prefer vertical, but I don't think there are any vertical MMO mice). I thought my Darmoshark M5 was my endgame, but, in hindsight, I was just putting up with wrist pronation, and having to close my thumb and little finger together just all the time, and that's exhausting and terrible * Plenty of buttons for hotkeys/macros/navigation * Comfortable * Wireless * Weight is not a concern - I can acclimate * Games other than high speed FPS/twitch shooters *exist*, but you wouldn't know it from visiting this subreddit * PFU Happy Hacking Keyboard Professional 2 PD-KB400B * There's a wireless mod I'm considering * Tactility feels really good * Bested my personal typing speed record on this thing, and I've only had it a few weeks * I would like to get MX stems for it, so I can try my MOA keycaps - could be a good time * I hear stupid-stiff domes would be a good time for me, too, so that's in a cart somewhere I'm not super fond of the... Yugioh card mat I'm using as a mouse surface/deskmat currently, and I'd like to try a glass pad at some point. I miss the Razer Sphex I had, like, a decade ago.

[Thumb goes here.](https://preview.redd.it/01orqaxukyje1.jpg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e84be69a4468efc3e4afc5a3137682974f23a0fe) 21.5 cm hands, exclusively fingertip grip. Thing is, due to wrist comfort (pronation) I place my thumb ABOVE the buttons as pictured. Currently on the DA V3. Issue: the button is still partly "in the way" which affects grip/aim. Are there any modern mice w/o thumb buttons? Only viable options I know are mice that can have them removed and "filled" such as the G Pro/G903. I've considered true "vertical" mice but fear they'll be too much of a compromise. I really prefer the lightweight of the DA V3, which is essential for fingertip. And yes, I've tried actual fingertip mice. I have a Darmoshark M5 and OP1. Problem with them: 1. Too narrow. 2. Not *tall* enough (DA works because of the space ABOVE the side-buttons due to height. This allow my wrist to be in what's closer to the "handshake" position.

Mx518 g pro if you want the old shape. Recommend a grip change + benchmarks grind to create new muscle memory. I used to palm mx518, but I eventually did a fingertip grip on it for a while before switching to the g wolves hsk pro and darmoshark m5.

I got the Darmoshark M5 and M5 Pro and haven't run into any issues. The Pro has quite a bit of pretravel but I believe its caused by the switches, not the shell.

My hand is large too and I like small mice. The budget hsk pro is the darmoshark m5 which I'm currently using. It goes up to 8k if you like that. You can get pro version.

I have the Keychron M4, Darmoshark M5, and G-Wolves HSK Pro Ace. My favorite (by a pretty wide margin) is the HSK, actually. The M5 _would be_ my second favorite, but my unit has tracking issues :/ The M4 is definitely solid, and for the price it is insane. But I found the shape kinda uncomfortable. I mostly use it as a travel mouse nowadays. I'm considering getting an HTX Mini as a secondary (since my M5 has issues) but it's pretty expensive.

HSK plus is better. G wolves for sure has better build quality than Darmoshark and sensor implementation. I have multiple mice from both brands.

VXE/VGN is extremely solid in terms of build quality but is priced the highest among the ones you listed Mchose has good build quality but some QoL issues, all minor things but not on the same standard as VGN Darmoshark performs well and is priced super well but falls short in terms of build quality. Is that a big deal on a 30€ mouse? In my opinion, no. It just feels cheap but will perform just as well as anything else I have never owned any Zaopin mouse, they're usually well reviewed though
