may I suggest the [delux m800 mini pro](https://ph.shp.ee/QqiG4Ft). Same shaoe as the viper mini, with a more updated sensor, and optical switches (these don't double click over time).
I owned the Delux M800 mini pro so far so good
We have the same kind of grip, and the viper mini silhouette really is the best for pincer claw-fingertip hybrid grip. Had the ATK F1 and the Delux M800 Mini Pro as one of the mice Iβve held the longest, and then kinda went back to the og viper mini and sold the two.
I just got Delux M800 mini pro shape almost like viper mini, no complaints so far...
Delux m600 pro, delux m800mini pro are 2 cheap mouse shaped kinda like razer viper mini
I havenβt tried the R1 Pro, but it seems good too. My hand is 17 cm, and Iβm using the Delux M800 Mini Pro, which feels comfortable for my relaxed claw grip
delux m800mini pro support 8k polling rate and uses optical switch, The shape also feels a better
Sensor tech has peaked and plateaud so you're likely not going to find a difference because your baseline mouse sensor wise is already good. Main upgrade would be the clicks, coating, skates and build. My Viper Mini's scroll wheel started having issues after only 4 months in (though thats just a common Razer issue not specifically an RVM issue) and after 3 years it started creaking from being pressed from the side (honestly impressed it lasted that long) Take the newest mouse that I know of to try and clone the Viper Mini shape, Delux M800 Mini (Pro version with the 3395): Sensor: probably wont feel a difference on 1k though you get higher polling rates on the M800 Mini Clicks: TTC Opticals on the M800 Mini give you a much more tactile experience compared to the older V1/V2 Razer Opticals (depending on what year you bought your RVM from, but they're both dull feeling either way), scroll wheel also better by default. Coating: Viper Mini used textured plastics for grip, whereas new chinese mouse like the M800 Mini nowadays use rubberized coating that gets grippier the sweatier your hands get Skates: good quality on both mouse, but still on the controlled side of speed, would recommend switching out after some use (though skate switching is more annoying on the viper because of the plastic sensor ring that protrudes outward so you need thicker skates so the middle doesnt scrape on your pad) Build: the RVM is 61g and built like a tank on a good copy, M800 Mini doesnt try to go as light as the other options like Scyrox, ATK and VXE who aim for 36g-ish weight and go for a modest 47g which means more can be put towards keeping the build of the mouse more rigid so you get the benefit of lower weight without risking long term issues of side creaking. Additionally, Value: if you wanted to buy a wireless version of the Viper Mini from Razer they would have you spend $100 on a Razer Cobra Hyperspeed which is still 60grams with worse weight balance than the wired rvm and the hump isnt as high as on the rvm. Meanwhile M800 Mini (Pro variant) is around $30-$50 depending on where you get it and is closer to the RVM shape hump wise with slightly tapered sides at the front. Delux M800 Mini is not the only option for a RVM vs new mouse comparison, most of the other rvm middle hump inspired shapes usually have similar specs to the M800 maybe with better qc, better stock skates or newer sensor (like ATK F1 Extreme/Hitscan Hyperlight) its just up to you whether you think its worth paying extra for those
Keyboard: Royal Kludge k100. Mouse: Delux M800 Pro. Fortunately my keyboard has a Linux app made by a kind soul called [Rangoli](https://github.com/rnayabed/rangoli). Unfortunately, my mouse doesn't have a Linux app.
My G102 literally double click after 1 year while my Delux M800 pro from China survived for 2 years and my poor ass attempt of an teardown with a screwdriver and now the only thing is the DPI button not working after I break it during the teardown.
delux m800 mini, or rawm-sh01s. These two are almost like clones of VM and can be purchased in various configurations when it comes to battery and sensor AFAIK
I have about the same size hands. I recently went on a little spree on ali express because I'm hooked on mice.... I got a Darmoshark m3 micro pro, Zaopin Z2 mini, Delux m800 mini, Keychron m4, and Mambasnake m4. I got the Mambasnake for my nephew so it's budget but pretty nice, Like $25 off Amazon. The Delux m800 mini was $30ish on Ali Express, It's a Razer Viper Mini clone. The Zaopin Z2 mini is a smallish slight ergonomic, close to $60....Anyway I'm rambling. The Mambasnake M4 and Delux m800 mini would be nice budget options for you. If you want to spend more money the Zaopin z2 mini is very nice.
