"the switches are amazing, especially the side buttons which a lot of other mice use softer more mushier switches, whether these are all snappy and built like a tank."
"the clicks and quality and inmaculate ... miles ahead of the scyrox v8 Imo."
"it has the apparently the best click latency of gaming mice currently"

"And the cable is very lightweight and flexible, it feels more like fabric and you practically don't notice it at all with a good dongle."
"trust me I was just as reluctant to get wired as you were, but the implementation EGG have done with it has made it really well done."
"isn't heavy at 50 grams"

"the absolute best you can get are the OP1 8k"
"easily one of the best mouse on the market"
"the only reason u would pick a wireless over a modded op18k is aesthetic and if u do a lot of big fast flicks for whatever reason."

"Shape is one of if not the best for medium / small hand sizes, the hump allows you to comfortably claw grip it while keeping the front more narrow for great use of fingertip adjustments."
"nice small mouse"

"It's also the fact of the weight, imo 50g~ mice and under feel way less exhausting to use than 60g~ mice. ... Because even though I prefer the op1 build quality and shape, it's just a way better experience using something lightweight."

I currently have the op1 8k v1. What are the differences between the two? I wouldn't mind a dark frost color.
Hard to know what you will play better with. I have some mice like Pulsar Xlite Mini that is so damn comfy, but I can't make micro adjustments like I can with OP1 8k v1 which makes me better with it
Was supposed to get the v2 a month ago as well, but when I went to the store they had a last stock v1(obviously they won't be restocking it) for $60 and it was just too good to pass on. Bought and never regretted it.
viper v3 is a bit large, also don't pay more than $100 for one. [op1](https://www.endgamegear.com/en-us/gaming-mice/op1-8k) is pretty good(but wired), [hitscan hyperlight](https://hitscan.com/products/hyperlight) is sort of a smaller viper v3, and [zywoo mini](https://www.pulsar.gg/collections/zywoo/products/zywoo-the-chosen-mouse-mini?variant=46697971974398) is the latest and greatest.
op1 8k is going to last a lot longer than atk though
you probably can get something like op1 8k v1 for around $70, which would last for a really long time and has top of the line specs or you could try getting something like R1 Pro / pro max, not sure how much it costs though
i have used the xm1r, op1, and op1 8k v1, all of them are very good build quality wise, looks like you are in bad luck imo.
What exactly did you do to find a 22ms difference? I did 50 trials each on an OP1 8k v2 and an X2 Superstrike and found a 3ms improvement.
Using [https://rafael182493.github.io/reaction/](https://rafael182493.github.io/reaction/), I'm getting a median of 126 on OP1 8k v2 and 123 on Pro X2 Superstrike. However, I only did 50 trials per mouse (interleaved), so it is unclear if the Superstrike is really faster here and a difference of 3 ms is certainly not huge for most people. It does feel rly nice tho
Ergo: EC1-C. Fits my hand like a glove and is perfect for palm grip. I also love the soft clicks even though it does add a small amount of travel distance. Looking forward to trying the EC1-DW when the glossy coatings release. Symmetrical: OP1 8K v1. The slimmer design allows me to grab the mouse with my ring and pinky finger being straightened out, which is another technique I use to control my mice. It also has a noticeably more responsive click latency compared to my EC1. Polling rate doesn’t matter to me, but it’s nice knowing that it’s future-proof with 8Khz capability and swappable switches without soldering.
Endgame Gear makes and sell the best performing mice on the market. Razer also sells a wired version of the Deathadder V3 giving you 8K polling and 8K click latency across all sensor polling rates. If you're in Europe, you can probably buy some old Zowie wired mice through something like Max Gaming. You can buy them in NA through the same site, but the shipping is gonna be stupidly expensive.
I use both Endgame Gear and Zowie. I can't tell the difference between the sensors at all. I only notice that click latency being a bit faster on my OP1 8K, but that's mainly because it's a smaller mouse with less travel distance. I do think Endgame Gear is the better choice still as it gives you options like switching mouse click switches without any sodering needed while having mouse feet with holes so you can access the screws without taking the feet off. That's on top of having the best measured performance, 8K polling, and consistent 8K click latency regardless of sensor polling rate.
Op1 8K or the wireless 4K edition with brown silent switches sold in a separate pack is the only thing I can come up with. You can barely hear it and it feels like a brown mechanical switch you'd use on a keyboard.
For me, the op18k v1 cable is very scratchy when it hits a mousepad for example, annoying.
Endgame gear op1 nice small mouse with hotswap feature Razer cobra decent small mouse with optical switch
Op18k or xm2 8k
Different shapes and different sizes they're both good. If you have small hands get the op18k if you have medium size hands get the XM2 8k.
For fingertip I recommend the op18k, fk2-dw, x2 crazy light
Op18k for relaxed claw but for palm I usually recommend an ergonomic mouse like the ec3-c, delux m900 mini, zaopin Z2 mini, xlite v3/v4 mini.
Endgame gear op1 this mouse has a hotspot feature you can change the default switches into. A silent switch.
Op18k is an overall better implemented mouse
I have tried Logitech, razer, Endgame gear, zowie mice and my experience with Logitech the g102 prodigy it's rock solid no issues with the clicks and scroll wheel the rubber scroll wheel deteriorated. Razer the dav2 mini, rvm, Dav3 wired and cobra wired, I had to rma my rvm 7 times knowing it uses a shit encoder my last razer mice are the cobra and dav3 and the quality improved a lot. Endgame gear op1 and zowie are the same they're sturdy but I'll give zowie an upper hand because they use an optical scroll wheel encoder.
Op18k and mchose l7
Op18k v2 or v1 is a small size mouse with hotswap feature meaning you can swap the main switches easily without soldering you just need to be careful opening the mouse.
With your handsize get the op18k
Endgame gear op1 default switches are loud but it has a hotswap feature so you don't need to solder stuff open the mouse use the provided screw driver and put a silent switch inside the hotswap PCB.
Never tried the op18k for drag click but I used that mouse so yeah I recommend it 💯
