I mainly use the EGG XM2w 4k v2. I absolutely love it, mainly because of the shape, build quality, and the extremely crisp buttons. There's something about the shape that makes me feel very connected to my weapon. It's $129 in US for wireless, and like $80 for wired, which people say is also fantastic. Many say the wire is actually not noticeable. I have a Viper v3 pro as a backup, which tells you how much I like the XM2w to have a Viper v3 pro and not main it haha

Can you check something for me? If you tap the front of the mouse on your desk, does it make a bit of a loose/rattle sound? Edit: I'm using an XM2w 4k v2 rather than the op1 8k v2, but still applies

Interesting. The left side sounds looser than the right side on mine. I'll give it a try. You said it was the switch for you? Did you try tightening the PCB to the shell a little more?

Personally, buying a heavy mouse in 2026 is objectively less enjoyable as it's more fatiguing and makes aim and even general movement far more difficult. I would say a mouse that's above 70g better have some very special and specific thing you're looking for to offset the downside of the weight. I started to list some recommendations but I found that you will likely be better served looking up "Best of..." videos on YouTube. Boardzy, AimAdapt, DiamondLobby Reviews, and MANY more creators will give you a wide breadth of options and opinions on them. Only thing I would be wary of is people telling you to buy *the best of the best* and telling you to spend $150+ dollars on a mouse when you're not sure exactly what you want yet. Buying previous gen at a good discount is very compelling as well as these new brands who are challenging the big names with much better prices. For myself, I'm using the Viper V3 Pro, EGG XM2w 4k v2, and Pulsar Tenz Mouse. All for claw grip users with medium to large hands.

My two mice are EGG XM2w as my main for competitive titles, and viper V3 pro as my backup/more comfortable option.

I currently use the EGG XM2w 4k. While the shape of this mouse is slightly more aggressive than the super light or viper V3 pro, it is still very much intended for medium to large hands and does not *personally* cramp my hand. It just feels like a slightly more aggressive shape because of how the mouse more aggressively tapers from the rear bump to the front. However, it's not nearly as much of an aggressive shape/size as other mice. The mouse doesn't "fill your hand" the way that a super light does, but I find this mouse to feel even MORE *locked* into my hand. It doesn't feel like I'm trying to hold onto or aim with a tiny mouse or anything, not at all. I recommend it because currently, the original model (not the v2 model) is going for $80 on Amazon. Look up any or all reviews, this mouse going for $80 is a fantastic deal. No brand tax. Just good design, great click implementation and great sensor implementation.

I personally like my XM2w way more because of the locked in claw grip like you mentioned. I learned to recoil control by pulling down my arm instead of recoil control within the space between your palm and mouse (of which there isn't any when you are have a fully locked claw grip). It works very well and I have 0 need for a GPX

You and I are very similar. Vv3 pro feels really great. I tried the Lamzu Maya X and although I did not keep it, it was still a fantastic mouse. I currently main the EGG Xm2w 4k. So so good. A slightly more aggressive claw feels even better on it. It's got a very similar shape to what you have there. Otherwise, vv3 pro all the way.

I have big hands, slightly bigger than yours and almost exactly the same grip. I have a Viper v3 pro but I prefer and main the XM2 from Endgame Gear. The shape is S-tier, you won't regret it.

You seem very nice and like you are genuinely inquiring so I mean NO shade with this, but the way you say you need to "look like I know what I'm doing" makes me think you are looking at this the wrong way. Because truth be told, not a single person is looking at your mouse except you. Not a single soul out there is judging you for what mouse you use. So why does it matter whether you look like you know what you're doing? Nobody can even see what your mouse is, literally. So let's just completely get rid of that notion because it will likely lead you to spending more than you need for a product that isn't ideal for you. Go back to the basics to find what you need personally: 1) how big is your hand? Look up how to measure it. 2) what grip style do you use? Or, if you're not sure, what styles do you want to experiment with? 3) More than *anything*, **what shape feels most comfortable and confident in your hand?** This is all that matters. Then, you start shopping around. My last suggestion is to not be upsold by people telling you that you only get a good mouse if you spend $140+, because you can get a high quality experience for half that or even less. In fact, **buying cheaper mice means more room to experiment and try new things to ultimately find your favorite shape.** Buying three $50 mice will be so much more valuable to tell you what works for you than one Razer mouse. So, with that being said, the EGG OP1 is a GOATED mouse, but it's small. Their XM2 is the bigger mouse and it is also great. There many many other brands to look at as well. I would really just start consuming YouTube content on peripherals, especially the budget market, and then use https://www.eloshapes.com/ to directly compare mice. Good luck!

I think the *shape* of the XM2 is very GOATED for claw, but the weight has been bothering me. And I was defending it's weight for a while, telling people that they were overreacting and they were just spoiled. But then I got the Pulsar Tenz mouse at 48g and now I not only feel my hand is less supported by the xm2 because of it's lower profile, but I also feel more encumbered by the xm2 weight. So I guess I was wrong haha.

I'm also going to suggest the XM2w 4K V2. I have actually been blown away by it's sensor implementation. Even though it's a 3950 sensor, EGG did something right with it. Far more accurate than any other mouse I own or have tried that have a 3950.

better mouses in general, stuff like gpx known to have cheap skates. mchose makes some of the best mice. Also chinese mouses have copied shapes to a masterpiece lol. i got g502x as a daily driver cuz of infinite scroll. Switch to a lightweight when gaming. Tried many, viper v3 pro, terra, maya x, atk mad r, xm2w v2. Always go back to the L7 ultra+

Also, the xm2w 4k V2 is really good. Just got it and love it. Same company as the OP1w

Relaxed claw gripper 20x11 here. XM2W V2 has been a peach for me. I never feel like I have to grip really hard to use it.

X2H has poor quality. At least from my experience. XM2W is the better option in this shape. But I do 100% agree with your evaluation.

2nd here for the xm2w 4k as well. It's definitely my favorite mouse.

I didn't like the GPX2 for claw grip. The shape of the hump and the really straight sides made it uncomfortable and my fingertip engagement was all just to iron grip to hold on to the mouse. I highly suggest the XM2W for claw grip, it made a world of difference for comfort and aim consistency. 20x11 hand btw.
