If you liked the Model O but also liked the Basilisk shape (and you’ve got bigger hands), I’d decide first if you want to stay ambi/lightweight or go ergo again. For a Model O–style upgrade around ~100€, Razer Viper V2 / V3 or Endgame Gear XM2we are super safe picks for FPS. If you want that Basilisk-ish comfy ergo feel for big hands, look at Razer DeathAdder V3 or Logitech G502 X if you still want extra buttons and a similar vibe to the Basilisk. Also, if you’re not sure on shape, [Gripyx](https://gripyx.com) and Eloshapes are really handy for comparing mice by size/shape.
I own a XM2 and V3 pro. Both are fantastic but I main the XM2. The shape is just so good. It's a slightly more aggressive shape than the V3 pro, but it makes it feel like a weapon. I feel pinpoint accurate.
You and I are very similar. Vv3 pro feels really great. I tried the Lamzu Maya X and although I did not keep it, it was still a fantastic mouse. I currently main the EGG Xm2w 4k. So so good. A slightly more aggressive claw feels even better on it. It's got a very similar shape to what you have there. Otherwise, vv3 pro all the way.
I have big hands, slightly bigger than yours and almost exactly the same grip. I have a Viper v3 pro but I prefer and main the XM2 from Endgame Gear. The shape is S-tier, you won't regret it.
You seem very nice and like you are genuinely inquiring so I mean NO shade with this, but the way you say you need to "look like I know what I'm doing" makes me think you are looking at this the wrong way. Because truth be told, not a single person is looking at your mouse except you. Not a single soul out there is judging you for what mouse you use. So why does it matter whether you look like you know what you're doing? Nobody can even see what your mouse is, literally. So let's just completely get rid of that notion because it will likely lead you to spending more than you need for a product that isn't ideal for you. Go back to the basics to find what you need personally: 1) how big is your hand? Look up how to measure it. 2) what grip style do you use? Or, if you're not sure, what styles do you want to experiment with? 3) More than *anything*, **what shape feels most comfortable and confident in your hand?** This is all that matters. Then, you start shopping around. My last suggestion is to not be upsold by people telling you that you only get a good mouse if you spend $140+, because you can get a high quality experience for half that or even less. In fact, **buying cheaper mice means more room to experiment and try new things to ultimately find your favorite shape.** Buying three $50 mice will be so much more valuable to tell you what works for you than one Razer mouse. So, with that being said, the EGG OP1 is a GOATED mouse, but it's small. Their XM2 is the bigger mouse and it is also great. There many many other brands to look at as well. I would really just start consuming YouTube content on peripherals, especially the budget market, and then use https://www.eloshapes.com/ to directly compare mice. Good luck!
I think the *shape* of the XM2 is very GOATED for claw, but the weight has been bothering me. And I was defending it's weight for a while, telling people that they were overreacting and they were just spoiled. But then I got the Pulsar Tenz mouse at 48g and now I not only feel my hand is less supported by the xm2 because of it's lower profile, but I also feel more encumbered by the xm2 weight. So I guess I was wrong haha.
Try xm2, or lamzu atlantis. Adore the shape, have both - thoroughly enjoy.
As someone had mentioned, I would highly recommend looking into the the xm2 shape rather than the op1. If you like how your pinky feels but gets tired after sometime, the flaring and the wider back really helps. Op1 has flat side and not much to "hook" your pinky into. Other than that, asymmetrical is a safe choice for you. Go buy both and return the one you don't like.
yeah, have you looked at the DeathAdder V3 Pro? 19cm hand on an ergo is basically the target demographic for that shape. if budget is tight, the XM2WE is older but the shape is similar and usually runs cheaper used.
For 19x10cm hands I would also check out the XM2 or the XM2w if you want wireless. I just got mine and it's perfect for anything related to claw grip.
