I know you’re supposed to measure from fingertip to wrist, but do you include your thumb when measuring width or just palm across fingers? Edit: thank you I’m 18.4 x 10, I main a crazy light x2 with a relaxed claw/Palm hybrid, big fan, definitely my favorite mouse. Also have a ULX Tarik ones using before that. Feinmann f01 is a good palm/ergo mouse at this hand size, but I did not like the relatively higher click height of m1/m2.

I ordered a small ulx scream off of Max gaming about a month ago and received it about two weeks ago. It was my first experience with the site but from what I’ve read online they seem to be pretty reputable and I didn’t have any issues with them

I really recommend the mouse if you want to spend the money for it. I previously had a g502 and orochi v2 as well as some cheaper Chinese mice, attack shark x3 and vxe dragonfly r1 pro max. The ulx by far is the best mouse I’ve had. Finalmouse has been known to have qc issues with their mice but the prophecy collection has the best qc from any of their drops.

Pwnage Stormbreaker for me. I don’t have Carpel Tunnel but I do have repetitive strain flare ups in my wrists and hands now and then. It’s the most comfortable mouse I’ve tried and I get the least fatigue with it compared to my other mice due to ergo shape and low weight. FYI I have used the OG superlight, Deathadder V3 Pro, Finalmouse ULX, and Endgame Gear OP18k. Hope you find the shape that lets you game comfortably!

I'm considering this and the ATK F1 Extreme. Not sure the extra price is worth it for a bit more curve on the back and carbon fiber. I'm currently using the finalmouse ULX Cheetah

Yea every ULX I've ever brought had some QC issue because most of them didn't pop up until after a few hours of heavy usage because the design of the mouse itself is flawed which sucks cause the tech implementation is nice . The shell is broken up into 2 parts, not counting the clicks and bottom plate, and it leads to a ton of instability physically due to too much room for movement. The mouse needs a shell redesign to essentially merge the hump and the rest of the shell together, cf polymer beams to reinforce, and flip the direction of how the clicks are mounted to kill this issue, and then they'll have to redesign how the bottom plate mounts to use 1 screw at each corner at all sizes and have the PCB act as extra structural support for the shell to prevent creaking and flexing on sides. This also isn't counting switch grind, but that's a tricky issue that most mice run depending on click design.

And even then a few grams heavier doesn't really apply anymore when the ULX Comp/Prophecies are shipping with nearly same weight as the current Beast X lineup. My ULX Comp clocked in at 37g with Artisan dot skates and my new main the Beast X Mini Pro is also clocking in at 37g. My Hyperlight clocks in at 40g flat with 4 dots and my Viper V3 Pro clocks at 54g with full skates.

It's all about personal preference, hand size, and grip. These types of questions are pointless—there are tons of top-level players using both the smallest and largest mice while having different grips. For me, the GPX Superlight and Finalmouse ULX Medium have the best shape and work the best for me (3000 Elo on FACEIT / consistently high Immortal 3 to low Radiant in Valorant).

Finalmouse ULX competition cheetah that’s what I use still til this day although I aggressive claw grip it cuz it’s way more comfortable for that you can still fingertip grip it with flat elongated fingers like a palm grip without your palm touching the back of the mouse just your knuckles and fingers.

What hand size works best for this I got small ahhhhh hands around 17.78-18cm long x 9.5-10cm wide and I like narrow ahhhh nice like the Finalmouse ULX competition cheetah, Zowie ZA13-DW and Endgame Gear OP18K and find the Zowie ZA13-DW too long so I’m pretty much looking for a shorter Zowie ZA13-DW with same width and shorter length so it’s short enough I can aggressively clawgrip it and that would be perfect for endgame.

My Finalmouse ULX comp. I know many people have issues with them but it’s been phenomenal for me for about a year now with zero issues. Before that I was on a Starlight 12 pro tenz which lasted me about two years before the scroll wheel started acting funky but was thankfully within the warranty period and was able to get the encoder replaced at no charge. That one now sits in my desk as backup

They gonna hate me for this one but either the Superlight or ULX Prophecy They aren't anything special but I have ALWAYS came back to the superlight after trying out other mice (Besides my HTS + which broke on me 3) ULX prophecy just feels like a better version of the superlight to me tbh, really enjoy it.

i main ulx competition small and op18k , my grip is hybrid ftip/ claw (5 points of contact with my fingers and 1 with the right side of my palm only making a "point") . i reallllyyy loved op18k for claw but the ulx is better for micro ajustements with ftip. it all comes to preference but id rather buy the op18k since the prince is 3x cheaper.. for claw you can see all egg mouses op1 , xm2 are very famous

Can I ask what type of game? Just curious. I think the ULX is pretty good for this, but I sometimes feel like I sacrifice stability with it. Zowie FK/S/ZA series are all excellent shapes for wrist aimers, just a bit dated in tech compared to today. It would also help for you to tell us how your hand measures since the advice will vary greatly depending on this factor

Yeah I know what youre talking about, i wouldnt want to use low sens when im trying to one tick prayer flick either. In the instance where you feel you are lacking stability but still need something lightweight, try a slightly bigger mouse. Best options are honestly the mainstream which are Viper v3 or pro x superlight. My regular rotation is ULX, VV3 and OP1WE

20x10cm hands. My preferred grip style is similar to yours; fingertip/claw hybrid, but I probably have a lot less palm contact at the thumb knuckle area as you because my fingers are longer. I prefer the ULX (BeastX/R5 Ultra) shape for that grip more than the RVMSE (Hyperlight) shape. The hump is slightly lower and the buttons are higher. Not a huge difference though. I think you shouldn't worry about changing your mouse when you're about to switch from cloth to glasspad. Finger/wrist/arm contact with the mousepad, particularly on cloth pads, can definitely cause shakiness/rubberbanding during long tracking scenarios. Glass can help with that because you can't dig into the pad and there's a lot less friction. Tekkusai/Glsswrks pads are all fairly smooth against your skin as long as you as your skin is dry enough. Pro tip: A small fan on your desk blowing towards your wrist/arm can be way more useful than a sleeve...or even used in conjunction with a sleeve if you're a hella sweaty boy. As long as you aren't like leaning on your right arm/elbow using it as an anchor/pivot point the skin contact with the pad shouldn't be substantial enough to cause inconsistencies. For tension management have you tried using spacebar for shooting and (if ADS-ing) toggle instead of hold? I tried that for a while (only in aim trainers) and it helped, even when I reverted back to Left Clicking to shoot. My friend who recommended it to me actually plays every game with Spacebar for fire, RMB for jump, and LMB for ads.

I dont understand the new mousepad wave of the big squares and all these materials. Good skates on any decent cloth pad are plenty fast. Deskpads make your keyboard sound better, too.

I have 6 Finalmouses I have had 4 of them for over 3 years and they work like new, perfectly. Mainly the ULX Arceu, I've had it for months, the only thing I find bad is that the whites turn yellow easily, but other than that, it's perfect in all aspects, performance, build quality, durability, etc.

It’s a matter of interest. More than 2 extra thumb buttons get in the way…. But not if you are playing an MMO. cause then 10-12 side buttons are great… but you have the naga trinity, which is lighter than a g502 by several grams so why not that. It’s thinner and it’s lighter and you have swappable side buttons. Me, I use a final mouse ULX for FPS and a starlight pro for work, but if I’m playing something like guildwars or an MMO I’m definitely using my naga. It all depends on what you are playing or doing. In the end, it’s all 100% preferences and branding. Some people like being able to have a heavy mouse, even the mouse pad you are using can effect the usage.

r/MouseReview • I believe this is the main reason mice like the G502 are as popular as they are; 2-3 more buttons than the standard lightweight gaming mouse ->

From personal experience with their last 3 models of mice i can agree for the most part. Two of them have some serious ghost scrolling issues, and support has never gotten back to me about it. I see them more as an art piece tbh, however i still use my ULX Prophecy daily because i love the feel of it and luckily havent had any issues.

Recently got the WL Mouse Beast Pro X Tempered after wanting another ULX but not wanting to deal with terrible QC again. The mouse feels really good and I'm thoroughly enjoying, it might even become my main! I don't normally do reviews but if I was to quickly go through the main points of a mice it would be as follows. Clicks - Feel pretty good, probably the 2nd best omron opticals I've felt right behind the Hitscan Hyperlight. I wish they were slightly lighter but they are not heavy at all. OP1 still has the best clicks for me, compared to the ULX they don't feel as spammable but I honestly prefer them over the ULX. Coating - Better than I expected, I thought this mouse was going to be slippery but it's really not that bad although I would probably use mouse grips with it but I'm trying not to because I like the way it looks as is. Coating is much better than the ULX where I feel like my fingers slide all over that mouse. Shape - This is why you would get this mouse, this shape is such a good shape. I play fingertip / claw grip with 19x10 hand size and this shape is just so good for that. The slight indent on the left side lets you dig your thumb in and have really good control of the mouse. I don't enjoy super small fingertip mice so along with the Hitscan Hyperlight this is up there with my favorite "fingertip" mice for me. Build Quality - This is why you would get this mouse over the ULX. The build quality is so much better than the ULX. There's no flexing, creaking, or anything like that just a normal solid mouse. Overall I highly recommend this mouse especially if you are someone who wants a finalmouse ULX. I really would say to just get this mouse instead as it just makes so much more sense. Mice in background (left to right) - Pulsar X2, ULX, Lamzu Maya X, OP1w 4k, Pulsar X2 Crazylight, Hitscan Hyperlight.
