**Need help from fellow mouse nerds — I’m lost in the sauce 🖱️** So, I’ve been through a few mice already and I’m still stuck in mouse purgatory. I need help before I lose my last brain cell over this. My hand size is around **18.5x10 cm**, and I use a **claw grip**. # Here’s my tragic journey so far: Tried G Pro Superlight , Viper, Lamzu, Scyrox… still no endgame. * **G Pro Superlight** – felt like holding a potato. Way too round for me. * **Viper V3 Pro** – big improvement over the Superlight, honestly pretty solid, but its kinda big mouse. * **Lamzu Paro Aurora** – this one *blew me away* in terms of comfort and build quality, but for some reason I just couldn’t feel confident with it in-game. * **Scyrox V8** – bought it after watching a ton of reviews, but the back hump is *way too aggressive*. My hand said “nope” real quick. Now I’m eyeing the **F1 V2**, but I’ve heard too many complaints about the sensor being placed too far back, and that kinda puts me off. I’ve also been keeping an eye on the **ATK Duckbill**, but I just can’t make up my mind about it. Yeah, I know it sounds like I’m being way too picky — but surely someone out there has had a similar experience and finally found *the one*. Would love to hear what you ended up sticking with. Thanks for reading my mouse midlife crisis 😂
Recently looking for new mouse and tried: Corsair Sabre V2 Pro, Lamzu Paro Aurora, Logitech G Pro X Lightspeed/ G502X and Razer Basilisk V3 pro. Corsair and Lamzu are excellent for kids or people with tiny hands. G Pro x is too symetrical, G502X too many buttons and weird shape. Razer did best but not perfect.
Hello everyone. I'm looging for my DeathAdder V3 replacement. She is good for short time usage but gaming sessions could be uncomfortable. My best mouse was Corsair Glaive RGB but it's no longer available. Through last moth i've tried: \* Corsair Sabre V2 Pro - this is mouse for kids, not adults with wide hands \* Lamzu Paro Aurora - excellent performace but again, too small \* G502 Ligthspeed Hero - forget about it, maximum uncomfortable \* G Pro X Superlight 2 SE - nope, symetric shape is not for me \* Razer Basilisk V3 Pro - better than G502 but still, not this shape and too expencive My hand is 18 x 10,5cm Thinking about Pulsar X3 but don't want spend 149$ for a mouse. 100$ and below would be great. Don't want fancy gaming features 8K, 4K, 9999 buttons and milion dpi. It must be comfort, wireless and have good sliders, that's all. Thank you in advice.
lamzu has nice mice aswell. Got the paro aurora and i love it
If available get Pulsar Xlite es V3 or V4, battery lasts like 1 month (per charge), form itself is far more comfortable than deathadder v3 (avoid razer, mine scroll wheel started acting after 6 months) Scroll wheel on pulsar is very light smooth and satisfying they have their own blue encoder Another mouse to recommend : Lamzu Paro Aurora (it have optical scroll wheel encoder, which I'm heavily using and its important for me)
I love the Pulsar Xlite and Lamzu Paro, personally.
I'd recommend going with Hitscan Hyperlight. It's pretty close to what he's used to but has less curves and tha butt is much slimer but overall it's a safe shape. What's more important is QC. I got mine and it was a refresher to recieve a mouse that has no quirks or issues out of the box. Before that I got burned by Lamzu Thorn(had to test 3 samples to pick a good one), Lamzu Paro Aurora(right click is subpar, LOD is stuck at high setting), Lamzu Maya(1st sample had bad right click, 2nd sample is perfect), VXE Mad R(twisted bumpy bottom plate), Attack Shark R6(overall perfect but the main clicks end in a sharp stoppage so it gives me finger pains if I game all day).
Mouse: Superlight 2c & Lamzu Paro Keyboard: Rakka 64 with Tofu60 Case
the dav3hs is a great mouse in and of itself but when you factor in the price, which can often lower on amazon with sales, it's an even greater pick. some people say the lamzu paro is somewhat similar to the dav3hs, personally i felt it was much closer to the zowie ec3-dw but anyway you may want to check it out. as a side note i returned my paro aurora because the clicks (in particular the right) were not good out the box and only seemed to deteriorate further after only a month but you may have better luck. others to possibly consider are zowie ec2-dw (my current fav ergo) and vaxee e1. some unique ergos that are not like the dav3hs but you may find interesting because they do their own, different thing are vaxee np01s ergo, pulsar jv-x, cherry xtrfy m64 pro, zaopin zpw (a modern steelseries prime mini clone).
to me yes. after trying 50+ mice in the last 3-4 years with practically none of them considered budget options from the respective brands. pros: shapes various sizes great build design and quality enhanced receiver that is also a charging dock also includes a 1k small dongle so you can use the mouse on two devices at once or with a laptop on the go neutral: price. $150 is a lot of money to a lot of people but zowie's mice are cheaper at this point at mrsp than the flagship mice from the other two gaming mouse giants, logitech and razer. the problem is that logitech and razer do have sales whereas it seems zowie does not. weight. it's so much of a preference that although 60-65g will seem like a brick to some it will be ideal for others. obviously zowie's focus is esports and the average mouse weight preference there, going by prosettings, is around 60g. lack of 8k. i think there are too many cons to 8k polling at this moment in time so although i guess its cool to have it as an option it's not really that viable for a lot of people at this point. 4k seems to be the highest viable option in reality as of now. cons: click latency. the latest dw series mice lowest debounce setting results in the click latency being about 5.5ms compared to a lot of newer releases having sub 1 or 2ms. i have to say i have felt no difference myself on a practical level but i do understand why others will care. i think zowie may have made this decision as a filter for double clicking and slam clicking though it would be nice if they could find other solutions/give the user the choice to choose a faster debounce. lack of software. i really think zowie should follow vaxee's path and make a web based software. they need to implement being able to select options like dpi settings outside of the few youre locked into with their mice atm. im beginning to feel all nearly all mice with a 3950 sensors need sensor rotation/angle options. lately there has been some discussion on here where people have noticed that their mice pointer will angle up or down instead of going in a straight line when sweeping horizontally from left to right and/or vice versa with their mouse that uses a 3950. unfortunately both my ec2-dw gloss and matt do this. my lamzu paro aurora x reject also did this (though slightly less) and i was able to correct it with the sensor rotation/angle option in the software.
id try the e1 and the ec2-dw, if you fancy something slightly smaller the lamzu paro or dav3 hyperspeed. i have the same hand size as you and palm ergos. deathadder v4 felt a little too big to me as did the dex (hope they make smaller version of both) the others mentioned feel great but obviously slight variations in shape even if all ec styled with the actual ec2-dw being my fave shape.
other than the good suggestions so far such as the xlite crazylight, ec3-dw, lamzu maya and logitech superlight 2c i will throw hitscan hyperlight and lamzu paro aurora (early batches were not as good, my later batched reject edition is excellent) into the mix.
for full palm it might on the hyperlight but it doesnt bother me for a very relaxed claw (i have 17.5 x 9.5 hands) but of course, everyones different. the paro is a little like the ec3 but its a safer shape thats not quite as curvy.
