I was on the fence about buying the Beast Miao after using the HSK Pro 4k, HTR Pro, and X2F beta. As someone who has always fingertip gripped, I was previously using the Pulsar X2 Mini and other "small but normal" mice and made it work. But when I moved to the HSK full time, things started working so much better for me. The Beast Miao is my favorite fingertip grip mouse because of its width, contoured sides, crazy strong construction, and weight. It'll be hard for something to replace this one, I tried the Fenrir Max and found it too wide for my liking.
r/MouseReview • Fingertip mice: gimmick or game changer? ->It is so strange: with a fingertip mouse I can play my best aim trainers / casual games: crazy reactions, absolutely mental shots here and there, almost all the time, as long as it’s just a casual match or DM. But in a competitive match, where there’s even a little bit of pressure or stress, my confidence can crumble fast and I start to whiff everything humanly possible. With a more regular mouse the experience is just much more stable. The highs aren’t as high, but neither are the lows. And as is well known, once things start going badly and confidence takes a hit, it’s very hard to push through those moments and keep relying on your fingertip mouse. I’ve really tried to give fingertip grip time just now, and I love those random moments of brilliance it gives me. I’ve also spent a long time developing and fine-tuning my RawAccel curve to go with it, which supports the grip and brings some stability to micro-adjustments. I feel there’s huge potential here. But it also requires me, personally, to always bring my A-game. This mouse type doesn’t forgive ANY mistakes the way a regular mouse does with more support. I do think I will seriously try to main Fenrir Max for now. I've already used it so much, that grabbing a GPX starts to feel like a slow brick in hand.... But I still have my hesitations every now and then.
r/MouseReview • Fingertip mice: gimmick or game changer? ->The weight difference of the Gwolves asym/max it\`s prob one of the main differences, the sensor position and low distance from the ground feels more precise and resposible too, paired with one of the best specs and shape for fingertip I wouldn\`t recommend you anything else if you want to commit to a fingertip mice. The Asym is the 100% fingertip mouse with its ergo and low buttons. The Max its the more all rounder with its higher and symetrical shape. If youre sure of your choice, my recommendation is the G-Wolves Asym.
r/MouseReview • How to decide which fingertip Grip mouse to full send? And is it even worth buying a fingertip grip mouse when other small mice exist? ->Used original gpro/305 shape for years. Ended up on the g303 wireless for another couple years. Now I'm on a fingertip journey with the fenris max.
r/MouseReview • My issue transitioning away from g305. Has anyone been through the same thing? What mouse did you end up getting? ->Addressing your questions: • The bump on the right is useful for control and comfort to some degree. • In real terms anything that can comfortably move is light enough but lighter is better in my experience, especially as fingers use small muscles and will get fatigued easier. • Fingertip mice have their main benefits in micro correction and fine control situations which can apply to all aim scenarios. • Fenrir max vs. HSL is personal preference, Fenrir max is similar width to a lot of normal mice which is comfortable for more people with larger hands. • Click height again is personal preference, lower makes you feel like you're getting more control in some sense but higher might feel more comfortable to others. • You can absolutely use a beast X mini or crazy light, they have their merits and allow you to go from fingertip to claw for different situations, others prefer to have more space for fingertip movement. Overall I'd say in my opinion that a cheaper option like Keychain M4 or Darmoshark M5 might be good if you want to dip your toes in without spending a lot but if you're committed to the grip then the Fenrir options do seem like the best options for weight and shape right now (shame they have no coating though).
r/MouseReview • How to decide which fingertip Grip mouse to full send? And is it even worth buying a fingertip grip mouse when other small mice exist? ->8k polling really messes with some games in my experience and causes choppy frames, completely overrated. Try fenris max from gwolves.
r/MouseReview • What is the absolute best/craziest gaming mice out ->Depends on your grip, I'm fingertip and use fenrir max
r/FPSAimTrainer • What is the best mouse recommended for this game? ->Pad: Endgame MPC cordura that covers my desk, Mouse: Gwolves Fenrir Max
r/FPSAimTrainer • Whats everyone's endgame peripherals? ->I like to think of my different mice as "tools". Fingertip mice fill a niche that is quite unique, allowing you to do motions and training methods you can't really do with full sized mice. If I had one that was a decent fit for my hand size (looking at the upcoming fenrir pro) I might main them for some titles, but my main grip is still claw. Even then, I do pull my fenrir max out quite often for training and even games sometimes. If you're looking for your endgame mouse, I would consider conventional options first. If you have the disposable income to get one and also want one, I would recommend getting an ftip mouse, they're really fun to use even if you don't main them. I just wouldn't go into the purchase with the expectation of it being the end-all be-all solution to your mouse control shortcomings, as it's very likely not.
r/MouseReview • Fingertip mice: gimmick or game changer? ->I have both! I prefer the asym. I find the coating to feel nicer and I like the low profile of it as well as clicks feel better. The back right flare is a nice addition but I don’t find it to be that noticeable. The max feels bigger and taller.
r/MouseReview • Fingertip mice: gimmick or game changer? ->Man since I got my fenrir it has been on my desk. If it dies I used the htr but as soon as it has enough juice I use the fenrir. IMO it’s def my favourite mouse
r/MouseReview • Fingertip mice: gimmick or game changer? ->If you want pure fingertip grip, then go for it. If you have a 3D printer, print up the shapes (there is an online database of all the mice somewhere, use that to find the mice you're looking at and trial the shapes) and find out for yourself which one you want the most. If you still want the hump, then the Pulsar X2 mini is what I'd recommend (easily the best fingertip mouse I've ever touched, though I do use the hump as a rest when being lazy and browsing YouTube, not having it wouldn't be the end of the universe though). As far as grips go, it's honestly so hard to predict what you'll love and hate. Some people find the hump on the asym mice absolutely game-changing for all the right reasons. Others find it "game-changing" for all the wrong reasons. If you have the free cash (and no 3D printer) get both Fenris mice since you'll never know whether you want the asymmetric hump or not until you try it. Otherwise, I would recommend the X2F since it's taking an already amazing fingertip mouse shape (that's known to be unanimously amazing for everyone) and making it a pure fingertip grip mouse shape. It's definitely the safest option here. Personally I don't really find height to be all that impactful ngl, but do note that as the weight decreases, each gram becomes exponentially more noticeable. I mean holding 1 gram vs 2 grams is noticeable since that's a doubling in weight, so although the difference between a 130 gram mouse and a 100 gram mouse is not very noticeable, the difference between a 40 gram mouse and a 20 gram mouse is huge. That being said, shape is more important than weight, and if the shape is wrong for you, a 20 gram mouse will feel heavier (in the hand, plot twist our body doesn't use grams to measure the weight of objects, so the shape actually has more impact on the "felt weight" than the actual physical weight itself) than a 40 gram mouse if it's the wrong shape for you. So when it comes to the Gwolves mice you're gambling that they're the right shape for you. I mean nothing is stopping you from buying them, and there is a larger chance that they'll be an amazing shape for you than anything. But if you're pressed for cash and buying multiple new mice isn't in-store for you, the X2F is guaranteed to be an amazing shape and definitely the "safe" option.
