the best new budget mouse is a good used flagship mouse. go to ebay, look for older gwolves or ajazz mice, xtrfy and coolermaster probably work too. whatever was good and popular is now good and popular and cheaper. i typically recommended looking for a gwolves htm classic/ace as they go for around 20 bucks and because they were really ahead of their time, they still hold up quite well today

The G Wolves HTM is the closest I could find which stays in a $50 budget. Here's a comparison between the two: [https://www.eloshapes.com/mouse/compare?p=logitech-g-pro-wireless-vs.-g-wolves-htm](https://www.eloshapes.com/mouse/compare?p=logitech-g-pro-wireless-vs.-g-wolves-htm) . Other than fixing your issue, it would be more of a sidegrade than an upgrade but honestly, 1K polling is more than fine.

I'll paste what I said on another post a few days ago::: "Start budget friendly before buying big $$$. There's a mass of under $50 usd mice that are great. Obvious things first: Shape preference: Do you want Ergo or Ambi, this correlates with your grip style (finger, claw, palm, or hybrid of any) Size: Do you have big hands or small hands Testing: Do you have any computer related stores near you to try them out, like display models Affordability: Don't always look at the "best" option. There may be some $40 mouse that you fall crazy for. Wired or wireless: preference, these days they perform equal to eachother with minimal latency variation Weight: Do you want light (40-60g) medium (60-80g) or heavier side (80g+) this can also fall onto your playstyle. More fast and snappy, or slow and steady Do some solid research and try to find something suited for your hands. It took me years of buying mice and wasting money to find that I perform the best with a G pro wireless shape and 40-60g weight. I'm a palm/claw hybrid grip and are fast-paced and snappy. Also, have larger hands at 21x11.5cm. I cant stress enough, you dont need to spend over $100 on a "the pros use this" mouse... in the end if that is what you like, then by all means! If it makes you happy, and you'll use it for years, then it's worth it. I fell in love with the G-Wolves Hati HTM for shooters and fast games, and also have the Zowie EC1-CW for chill out, lean-back & relax games. **Many people use multiple mice.** You don't always have to settle on one. If the budget fits 2, and you find 2 different mice for different things **and you like them both for different usage**, then do it. If you find a mouse you like for example the g pro wireless; you can go to "eloshapes" website and in the compare size tool it will show you other mice with the same or close to the same size and shape."

I really like the [G-wolves Hati](https://i.imgur.com/CdupkIU.png), I just swapped to it after using the EC1 for the last several years. It's lighter and symmetrical, my aim is a lot better already.

There are definetly really expensive mice. 120-180 dollars. Some good(lamzu, gwolves, razer) and some bad(Logitech, final mouse) but there are also really cheap mice. Like atk, kysona, mchose, keychron g and m series(most of their mice are 30-50$) and some really good affordable mice like the op1 8k(75$ and considered by many as one of the best mice)

G wolves is honestly underrated. I understand the criticism against them, but they are undeniably the most innovative mouse company at the moment, especially in terms of weight.

Can’t find the perfect mouse :( X2 Crazylight, WLmouse Beast X, Superlight 2… I want the lightest mouse for claw grip 😅 without holes in the shell if possible and optical switches. Any recommendations? Edit: Searching for an even lighter option 😅 like sup 35grams

No optical switches :) that’s the issue

Grip tape might be an option for this? You can get quite a lot for dirt cheap and replace it as often as you need. Lots of mice these days have coatings on them. Best I can think of is a gwolves mouse + using cheap grip tape like meow gaming gear which are thin, cheap and don’t last long anyway. Gwolves mice are completely uncoated plastic which may make them easier to clean (may be worse now that I think about it) They have a relatively shallow golf ball texture on them and they don’t have any lips or anything
