I just got both a few weeks ago and have decided to keep the M5 and sell the HSK+ 1. M5 has a regular sized scroll wheel that's less heavy. The HSK+ scroll wheel is tiny and unusuable imo 2. The clicks on M5 feel and sound better 3. The side buttons are bigger on the M5 and sit further back, allowing for a more relaxed fingertip grip. HSK+ requires you to curl your fingers to reach the sides 4. M5 has grooves on M1 and M2, so your fingers sit better

I had the HSK+ and HSK pro ace. I didn't like the HSK+ because the mouse gets thinner towards the back, whereas the pro ace gets wider. I wouldn't recommend the HSK+ for that reason

As shitty as GWolves support and pricing is - they serve the niche market well and they are the best at it. If you're strapped for cash browse r/mousemarket \- there are many like-minded individuals trying out fingertip mice like yourselves and some doesn't stick.

Only one would be the darmoshark m5 but I'd recommend the gwolves, overall better quality

Depending on your grip style Pingufy on YT just recently went over their catalog of fingertip mice. I've had a few that my friends with smaller hands claw pretty comfortably. HSK plus is the main one that comes to mind for a good cheaper mouse.

The HSK plus will feel a bit like a GPX and the Darmoshark M5 will feel like a Finalmouse small (Both being with their backs cut off) Personally I love my M5, but you get whatever suits you. HSK is larger, M5 is smaller

Where are all these cheap fingertip mice on the market? Keychron M4 is $40 for 1k polling, $55 for 4K and $65 for 8k. G Wolves HSK Plus Light is $60 to 70 USD, with a last gen sensor and 1K polling. (still fine IMO, but not apples to apples) That's ALL of the commercially available; wireless, ***fingertip specific***, gaming mice with decent sensors under $100 USD\* that I am aware of. Two shape options under $100, just two while being generous with the 'cheap categorization. Under $50 there is only one and it's an overspec travel mouse from a keyboard brand. Between $100 & 200 USD the market has more options; Pulsar X2F, Gwolves HSK Pro and Fenrir models, WlMouse Miao and I think the ZeroMouse Blade comes in under $200 as well. These are priced in the premium range for gaming mice overall. That said, availability is far from good even in the more populated premium tier or used on Ebay. Many of the mentioned models are often out of stock. Total, excluding OptimumTech and very small bespoke makers, that is a grand total of what, 7 or 8 total shapes? Larger than it was, but still a VERY small market unless you include mice than are friendly to fingertip, but relatively full sized. *\*Yeah, that was a mouthful, but just trying to make a distinction between all the tiny mice that are super common, but not at all intended or spec'ed for competitive gaming, like the Logitech M317/pebble/ect.*

Budget Darmshark m5 / keychron m4 / hsk plus mini (budget gwolves option Premium X2F, largest ‘ftip’ mouse, and can be a solid entryway into ftip if you don’t mind the weight Wlmouse Miao and Hsk pro 4k, probably the best safe ftip mice due to shape and size being perfect for beginners and pros Fenris asym, this one is hard to recommend for first time ftip due to its odder shape but if you love it you realllly love it (I love mine)
