I was on the fence about buying the Beast Miao after using the HSK Pro 4k, HTR Pro, and X2F beta. As someone who has always fingertip gripped, I was previously using the Pulsar X2 Mini and other "small but normal" mice and made it work. But when I moved to the HSK full time, things started working so much better for me. The Beast Miao is my favorite fingertip grip mouse because of its width, contoured sides, crazy strong construction, and weight. It'll be hard for something to replace this one, I tried the Fenrir Max and found it too wide for my liking.
r/MouseReview • Fingertip mice: gimmick or game changer? ->There are very few with an adjustable sensor position. I only have experience with the razer orochi V2, Taipan, viper mini, viper mini SE and gwolves hsk pro. So I can only speak on those. You'll have to do your own research on pwnage. They seem to have produced some well priced bangers from what I've heard so I doubt they'll disappoint. The sensors on all modern gaming mice are overkill nowadays so I wouldn't worry about that either. I have a €300 mouse and never used its 8k polling rate.
r/FPSAimTrainer • How important is a mouse for your aim training? ->Had no issue with my Gwolves mouse build quality wise. Currently imo they make the best wireless fingertip mice. Their software is ass though so changing your dpi, keybinds etc. can be annoying. They have a lot of very low weight mice (low 30g for full size and low 20g for fingertip) and they're not scared to experiment with shape so they have some very unique mice. If the conventional shapes don't do it for you gwolves has you covered.
r/FPSAimTrainer • How important is a mouse for your aim training? ->I wouldn't recommend the hsk pro just grab the asym, the fact it comes with 70gf clicks is pretty meh for fingertip, and well replacing them on a new mouse ain't on the list of fun things i like to do. Plus the pinky support from the asym makes a big difference.
r/MouseReview • How to decide which fingertip Grip mouse to full send? And is it even worth buying a fingertip grip mouse when other small mice exist? ->Hey everyone, I’ve been using a relaxed claw grip for a while, but I picked up a used G Wolves HSK Pro recently to finally try fingertip grip. My main motivations were to break my bad habit of pushing my mouse down into my pad when spraying/shooting, and to see if the precision offered by fingertip gripping would help me be more consistent. For context: * Current pad: Artisan Hyate Otsu Soft * Tried hard pads before (Padsmith Empress, OG TJ Exclusives Cerapad). I stuck with the Cerapad for a bit, but eventually moved back to cloth. * Previous main mice: Scyrox V8, Ninjutso Sora V2, Fantech Helios II Pro (though I have plenty of others, they don't see much use). Side note, the 28 gram hsk makes my scyrox and sora feel heavy, which I never thought I would say. What I’ve noticed so far: * Small–medium flicks feel way more consistent. My headshot % in Valorant actually jumped from \~23% the week before to 31% this past week since picking up the mouse. * On the flip side, my micro-tracking and general tracking (especially vs strafing/counter-strafing targets) feel much worse. It’s like I’ve lost some of the control/engagement I had with my wrist/arm when clawing. * I've also felt like my longer flicks that require me to turn more have gotten less accurate (especially close range). This might also be from the same issue as my previous point. I’m guessing this might just be an adjustment thing since fingertip is such a different experience (and the HSK is so unlike any other mouse I’ve used). I have a G Wolves HT-S2 on the way that I’m hoping will let me fingertip comfortably but also give me the option to pull the mouse into my palm for some claw gripping if needed, maybe the best of both worlds. Another thought: the sensor placement feels noticeably different, which could also be throwing me off. Has anyone else run into these issues when switching to fingertip grip? Any tips on trying to engage my wrist and arm more... just time/practice? Appreciate any insights!
r/MouseReview • My experience switching to a fingertip mouse (G Wolves HSK Pro 4k) ->If price is no object and you still want a "traditional" mouse htx and the weird new hts demolish the competition for that agressive of fingertip. Thr cooler master mm712 is a fine shape, but is wide and has a very forward sensor position which is amenable to fingertip. The new pulsar products are great if you want that viper-ish shape with flatter sides. I would seriously reccomend considering a fingertip only mouse, your grip is CRAZY agressive. Darmoshark m5 or hsk pro are the best options rn imo. Keychron m4 is pretty polarizing
r/MouseReview • Mouse recommendations for 18.5x9.5cm hands? ->hsk pro 4k >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> fenrir asym
r/MouseReview • Fingertip mice: gimmick or game changer? ->almost same hand here, 20.8x10.7 I use the hsk pro 4k and the fenris asym, that are the 2 smallest mice available. embrace fingertip. also, that measure is like 90% standard percentile. Unless you can hold a basketball with your palm and not drop it, your hands are average.
r/MouseReview • I feel like every single mice is too small ->hsk is the best ftip mice ever bad thing about gwolves, is that instead of continuing evolving with them and making even a little bit narrower to go to that "stylus / pen writing precission", now they are doing them but wider, which feels awful for a ftip mice.
r/MouseReview • My experience switching to a fingertip mouse (G Wolves HSK Pro 4k) ->Do you fingertip full size mice? If yes then by all means try the hsk pro or fenrir asym, if you palm or claw and never ever switch grips then don't.
r/MouseReview • Fingertip mice: gimmick or game changer? ->What do you think of the main clicks / the switches inside? I run the HSK 4K and the Fenrir Asym looks like it might address the ring and pinky finger placement issues that I have with the HSK, but the HSK has what I consider to be easily the best mouse switches on the planet and I'm not sure I can move to anything that isn't as crisp feeling without missing them. Seriously, Zippy DF3-P1L1's are so sick. It kind of looks like the Fenrir Asym uses even smaller switches inside that are SMD mounted, so I couldn't replace them with P1L1's if I wanted to.
r/MouseReview • My experience switching to a fingertip mouse (G Wolves HSK Pro 4k) ->I was an early adopter for the HSK 4K when it launched (I was part of the batch that came with *spicy* batteries) and hadn't used ftip before. I pretty much adjusted within a few hours, it felt incredibly natural to me. Being able to move your arm for big movements and moving the mouse within your hand for small adjustments is so incredibly helpful. I was a relaxed claw grip before and noticed when I had to clutch or otherwise perform better, I noticeably tensed up my hand which ended up changing my grip - and sometimes led to cramps in my hand. That has not happened to me once since using my HSK and I honestly don't think I can go back to regular mice for video game use.
r/MouseReview • My experience switching to a fingertip mouse (G Wolves HSK Pro 4k) ->I’ll also chime in and say that, as someone with basically the same hand size, I love my fenrir asym. I started with the viper mini -> orochi -> fan tech aria xd7, finger tip grip on all of them, but switching to a finger tip mouse was awesome, to the point now where It feels uncomfy and clunky to use a full sized mouse. The asym is also a noticeable upgrade from the HSK line ( I mained a HSK pro for a couple years), the larger size feels much better and the shape is better IMO. It’s certainly the case that the type of mouse is a love or hate kind of situation, but as a finger tip grip main it’s a godsend. I’ll also add I hard disagree that the mouse isn’t meant for tac FPS’ (a common sentiment I’ve seen). I’ve maintained immortal 3 in Val for a while with this mouse shape, feels great. Again, certainly personal preference but i dont think the shape is inherently bad, just how it suits you personally
r/MouseReview • Fingertip mice: gimmick or game changer? ->I have 21cm length hands and have to fingertip grip most mice. I have all the small mice like the HSK Pro, HTR, Darmodhark M5, OP1 and more. I can BARELY claw my G403 with my fingers almost hanging off the front of the mouse, so even though we have large hands I think it’s best we use small mice with FLAT SIDES. Or at least flatish. The curves really get in the way of the thumb imo. I recently got the pulsar crazylight and adore it for fingertip. It has nice flat sides, and enough height and length for my thumb. It also has a lack of a “hip” in the back which is nice. As a bonus it’s also 35g. I also have the Beast X Mini otw and think I will like that one but can’t say yet Also the other guy is right I cut out blanks of supergrips to fit any mouse I use, helps a lot with fingertip grip.
r/MouseReview • Large Hands, Fingertip Grip. Need Help. ->I really like it but wish it was just a tad bigger. I find the side buttons hard to hit. Much nicer for my large hand than the HSK pro though, that is getting just a bit too small for me.
