A 2019 gwolves skoll ace, still kicking after 6 years of daily usage. Chewed through the two stock cables and one left click switch it came with.
Either between my GWolves Skoll or my Lamzu Atlantis
If you love ultralight mice but get pain where your ring finger hits the shell, try moving away from very slim ambidextrous shapes and into slightly wider, right-handed ergonomics that fill the right side of your hand. Top picks to test: Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro (light but wider, rounded hump), G-Wolves Skoll (large ergonomic, 125×68×42 mm), BenQ ZOWIE EC2 (pro ergonomic fit), or Glorious Model D (right-slanted). I’d avoid slim ambidextrous mice like the Viper V3 Pro if that exact corner is hurting — they perform great but commonly cause that specific irritation for people with ~19 cm hands. Try those shapes in order and see which fills the area where your ring finger rests. I use Puselfire Haste 2 for gaming and a G502 HERO for work, and I'm planning on buying the VXE R1 PRO this month.
G wolves is honestly underrated. I understand the criticism against them, but they are undeniably the most innovative mouse company at the moment, especially in terms of weight.
Grip tape might be an option for this? You can get quite a lot for dirt cheap and replace it as often as you need. Lots of mice these days have coatings on them. Best I can think of is a gwolves mouse + using cheap grip tape like meow gaming gear which are thin, cheap and don’t last long anyway. Gwolves mice are completely uncoated plastic which may make them easier to clean (may be worse now that I think about it) They have a relatively shallow golf ball texture on them and they don’t have any lips or anything
Me in the corner with my G-Wolves, all alone.
Go with G Wolves on this one. Enjoy!
Once you go gwolves you never go back
I mostly use it to play aim trainer have no problem. But when playing fps game it does get a bit unstable when I trying to hold my m2 and try to lift off the mouse to reposition to mid of the mousepad. I think it is something to get used to. And yea if the click is lighter that would be an improvement I guess.
All gwolves mice comes with grip tape incase you don’t like their “golf ball” texture
Most people find it comfortable, so there’s really no need to change things up. They would probably make a new color variation than make a shape that’s gonna satisfy a small portion of the community. That said, there are promising products like Orbital Pathfinder, or G-wolves with their clay kit. Even if those aren’t within your reach, you can still try things out with a grip tape. It’ll help with the positioning and the grip itself, letting you hold the move effortlessly.
The battery isn't a bad thing, compared to say your rechargeable ones getting shorter and shorter runtimes as the months go by (my pulsar, basilisk v3, gwolves barely hold decent charge). I just swapped out my pro click mini batts after months, with weeks waiting to replace it with extra batteries on hand. I tried swapping out batteries on my g pros and it didn't end well. So yeah, replaceable batteries are good a good thing for me now :D
