Glorious - Model O Wireless

Hey! About a year ago I purchased a brand new wireless Glorious Model O and Glorious Desk Mat because it was recommended to me by my brother as a “best for gaming” setup. Few days ago I was watching a ESL CS2 Pro League and noticed literally no one was using Glorious. I started digging a bit deeper and found out that literally nobody is using Glorious in pro league. Wow! I am considering to upgrade my setup as follows, do you think it is a noticeable upgrade? I mostly play CS2 or other FPS shooters or strategy games a bit. • Glorious Model O Wireless -> Logitech Pro X Superlight 2 + X-Raypad Jade Ultra • Glorious Mouse Pad -> Artisan Ninja FX Zero Edit: Went for the smaller version of the Superlight 2, which is the Superlight 2c and so far I can say it’s been exceptional!

Well, I was curious what others have to say. I saw a tons of bad reviews shaming Glorious for bad quality, bad tech etc. Plus, as I mentioned in a different comment, my hands tend to hurt.

wiring a model o wireless is the best mouse hands down for 1.8 pvp. the ability to have 0 debounce while also being wired makes other mouse’s fail in comparison

All I have to say is don't buy from Logitech, Razer, Corsair, Steelseries, HyperX, or Redragon. They all have planned obsolescence designed into their shells and will break after 2 years of use. If you do have to buy one of these brands Redragon has the highest build quality out of all of them. The Glorious model i is good. The Dareu A980 is good. The Keychron M7 is good (NOT the M6, the M6 has weird glitchy sensor behaviour). Turtle Beach/Roccat is good, however since Turtle Beaxh bought out Roccat they discontinued all mice with more than 2 side buttons, and old stock Roccat mice are all slower than any of these mice (minus the Kone XP air, that one is the last vestige of Roccat before they went the 2 button route). They're insanely expensive, but the Swiftpoint Z (there are multiple versions, all of the wireless versions are goated the old wired one is jank) is also absolutely amazing and the ultimate life-form when it comes to button placement (though obviously it's button placement isn't for everyone, I mean having 6 additional main buttons isn't exactly normal). When it comes to numpad mice, we're SOL and have basically nothing, the Aerox 9 is the best we currently have and it's far from perfect. Hopefully we get more variety in the future!

Yup, and it's a great wireless mouse too! It's just called the model i wireless, Glorious isn't exactly fancy with their names.

Glorious wireless model d can't complain

I second this. Coming from the original D wireless this scroll wheel is a massive downgrade. It feels so cheap, especially the click down on it. Everything else is an improvement so far

i have a roccat kone pro air and its good for butterfly and jitter and drag- but if you jitter/butterfly only there are a lot of better options i think. i also have the model o wireless and both are amazing

Am I missing glorious here. I feel like it should be near the top. Far cheaper than any Logitech. At least for my model o in 2021

which one or ones do you enjoy the most? daily driver? fell in love with the dav3 pro after my first use last week. havent had a new mouse since 2020, the model o wireless. i got it for 85 off amazon and have until oct 15 to return it… im still exploring options

I have pretty big hands too and i use Glorius model O wireless. It fits my hand and grip perfectly.

Agree with the m700 and Mad G. I went from the Glorious Model O wireless to a Scyrox V8 (awesome mouse but small for my hand) to a Mad G Max and loving it. All of those were considered budget but also have good sensors and quality. You could test out the Mad G Max, and if you like the shape, later down the line, you could upgrade to the Lamzu Maya X since they are identical shape wise.

id reccomend a glorious model o wireless or a roccat kone pro air, they have all of those things and they are the best mice ive used before

(its still called the same, but its a different model) Now mine broke after 2 years and the one I gave to him is still working. So I am not too convinced of glorious mice anymore. I love the roccat cone pro air I got now and its a lot easier to drag click as well (you can't drag on most model o)

Before the tariffs, prices been over the top. It's even worse with Ngreedia. My OG superlight was 170..

i would get a model o wireless or wired up to you (get the gen 1) and theres a ton of other good options in that price range. my current mouse is the trinity cf but its $150, its 33g and i love the way it feels, my recommendation is looking up a mouse youtuber and watching some reviews on mice, just try and find one with 8k polling rate good weight (between 30-65g) and enough buttons for you to use, also for wireless make sure they have good battery life, that was the main selling point of the one i got for me.

i hope those go extinct. and this is coming from me who used the original model o with button holes for 4 years

Best mouse for mc in general is a glorious model -0 u can lower ur debounce n get more cps while being legit

I love my Model 0. I've had mine for 5 years and still works perfectly. Better than Corsair mice I've had previously which would always fail quickly.

I've used the glorious model-o for years. Really good choice. I would say choose the one where your hand feels the most comfortable if you play long sessions.

Thing is - only you can help yourself there properly, because nobody else has your hands and nobody else feels the way you feel. Do you have problems reaching buttons? Does your hand curl up too much/too little? Are they too heavy? Do you need more or less space to rest your hand on? That's all questions you have to ask yourself. Every hand is unique, so there's only so much help you can get. For me the model-o was the almost perfect fit - it broke i switched to logitech g pro x, it feels very different. For some the g pro x may be the best fit and a model-o may feel weird. What is the thing that leads to you saying "this is uncomfortable"? Size? Weight? Shape?

Bought the normal g pro in january. Been nothing but pleased with it. Switched from the first glorious model-o.

Something like Model D will fit you really good.

This might not be the best, but I use the model o and it’s been working amazing these past 2 years I’ve had it. I’m pretty sure it weighs like 60g and there is a wireless version too.

For me the best thing I've used is a model o (I play Minecraft PvP fucking sue me) but there's definitely better out there

Model d I got big hands and it fits nicely also mmo nice are great. The evga one is pretty large

Closest would be the model i but the size is similar to your zowie mouse assuming that's the ec1a. The model i is smaller.

Your english is completely fine, but there aint any mouse like this, get like an a70 or a60 for drag or model o v2 for butterfly (both do not fit your requirements). Some good mice are: a60 a70 model o deathadder (cheap but good) gm320 from ant esports (unpopular but insanely good at like $5, even I use it) HyperX Pulse Fire FPS PRO Roccat KAIN Roccat KONE

yeah, we got the Aerox 5 and the Model I 2 but those are about it. If a company released a lightweight(ish) 3 or 4 side button mouse, I would leap on it right away. For now, my Model I is being replaced by Viper V3 pro. My hand keeps going to side buttons that don't exist 😭

I have no idea how I started down this rabbit hole, but I am here. I'm currently maining op1we and love almost everything about it, just wish it was a tad lighter. I switch it up with the beast x mini, but the scroll wheel is So stiff for me that its sold alot of games (skill issue, I know) I'm really wanting to try the hitscan hyperlight. Wondering if it might be my true end game 🤔 Tried: Gpx: too big Sora v2: hump is too obnoxious Orochi v2: hump too obnoxious Model o: too cheap feeling, gave to my kid
