I have the haste wireless 1 and 2 and do love the shape, but completely unusable in game with the sensor skipping. As for the scroll wheel issues, I did not encounter any of those on either of my copies. I would stick to the wired haste if it is your only option. As some others suggested tho, there are many cheap clones of mice on AliExpress with comparable and sometimes even better hardware/software implementations. If you haven't already, check out eloshapes.com "find similar" and enter either of your two options and check out the plethora of similar shapes. It's unlikely you don't find a cheaper/equally priced option on AliExpress.
I use this one, https://ca.hyperx.com/products/hyperx-pulsefire-haste-gaming-mouse?variant=41841991385248
That's the color I have; it's really pretty
my favorite is haste and nothing comes close. coz i hate the outward front flare on the viper shape whereas haste doesnt protrude outwards at the front
if you like ergo mice then this is cmpletely different. i have a haste 1 wired. i love the shape its very safe but low profile. it can accommodate many grip types coz of flat sides and no outward front flares. i dont like outward front flare on ambi mice (its there on almost all ergos but it suits them). the shape is suitable for less palm contact or a forward grip if you like palm contact, versatile shape coz of flatter sides and no flaring. my fav mouse is an ergo ie dav3 hyperspeed (mini deathadder) as i tilt my wrist and do pincer claw. if you want a similar shape but more palm conatct get vxe r1 (good ambi mice flat sides and no front flare and safer coz of a normal hump and hence no flat feel)
Vxe r1 or atk a9 or deathadder v3( for ergoif ur ok with wired) Chinese mice like vxe and atk r best at the price. Ive 6 mice dav3 hyperspeed, vxe r1, atk x1, hyperx haste, logi g102 , cooler master mm730 I can say vxe and atk r value for money unlike razer or logitech. If its for gaming r1 and a9 are safe shapes n will suit most hand sizes and grips
If I ftip grip I do it on a haste or vxe r1. They r good coz of flat sides. Also try to look into hot swappable options so u can install lighter switches more optimal for ftip grip. I struggle only with that. When I ads the tension is too much for ftip grip coznof high actuation switches
I just bought this one that u/Dangerous-Wafer666 recommended. [https://ca.hyperx.com/products/hyperx-pulsefire-haste-gaming-mouse?variant=41841991450784](https://ca.hyperx.com/products/hyperx-pulsefire-haste-gaming-mouse?variant=41841991450784)
Please recommend wired gaming mouse for small hands. I use a Logitech g600 for everything cause I like the programable extra thumb buttons for final fantasy 14 and macros for Lightroom. it is a little big but I like it and been using it for a long time. I had razor naga before the g600 which was better size but broke quickly. I am looking for a newer wired with better sensor to use for competitive shooters like Marvel Rivals and Valorant Husband said to get something with onthefly adjustable dpi for sniping. can keep g600 for MMO and work.
hyper X pulse fire haste mouse is comfortable for me and works fine for Marvel Rivals, Overwatch and Valorant. It only has 2 side buttons so I use my G600 for Final Fantasy 14, Minecraft and Fortnite for extra buttons and macros. it was a bit lighter then the g600 so took a little getting used to. how comfortable a mouse is differs from person to person because of different handsize and grip.
I use Hyperx Pulsefire Haste(wired). It's pretty good and lightweight. No issues so far, but then again I haven't used a lot of mice. Bought it for 2.8K I think
pulsefire . I only have a wired haste 1 which has been lasting me for 5 years and had a friend get a haste 2 wireless which he’s been using for 2 years . The quality is one of the best you can get for the price
HyperX Pulsefire Haste for 3 years now. I like it's lightweight.
hyperx pulsefire haste :D lightweight and a nice shape to hold (at least for me lol) mine is 1 year old and going strong
DAv2 and Pulsefire Haste has internal memory and doesn't require running the software. I assume the rest of time lineup does the same now. Only thing the DA forgets is RGB.
I got the DAv2 used last year, it was in use since 2021 and still has no issues except for the rubber coating getting worn on the side but I added grip tape and replaced the skates. The Haste I bought 3 years ago, used it for 1.5 years as daily and now serves as my travel mouse, still no issue. Only mouse that sort of died on me was a Razer Taipan last year, but it was over 10 years old already and I got it used in 2019. The sensor stopped registering, the buttons and light still work. I sold a DAv2 Mini 3 years ago to a friend, still uses it as his daily. Maybe I'm just getting lucky, but the condition I see some mice in online makes me wonder if it's just people being stupid with their gear, throwing it around and smacking it out of rage.
I second the Mchose, also had a Pulsefire Haste a while back and I like this one just as much.
I’ve had hyper x pulsefire haste for 3 years, great battery, same weight as super light, fraction of the price
