If you need a gaming mouse that can connect to three devices wirelessly and has silent clicks... then you're in for a bad time, because they don't exist. Pick two out of three and you can find options, but there genuinely aren't any that do all of these options. There are *several* excellent options that support two devices. For example the Keychron M6 which is virtually silent. The Keychron M3 or any of the Mchose are reasonably quiet as well. The real problem is that three device limitation. The only true "gaming" options I can find are the ASUS ROG Keris Wireless and Keris II Ace, but these aren't particularly quiet. Not *loud*, but certainly not quiet. The closest option I can find is the Razer Pro Click Mini. It supports up to 4 devices, has quiet clicks, has low latency... but is tiny, heavy, and uses AA batteries so it's a very divisive option. It also supposedly only works on Windows PCs, though really they just mean there's no software support for the mouse on Mac so you can't customize what any of the buttons do. I did see some complaints that it's also weirdly laggy on Macs. So if you're a Mac user that'd be an issue. ... The other option you have is to get a "normal" quiet wireless mouse w/ a USB dongle and use a KVM or cheap USB switch. Or maybe go with two mice, one for gaming and one for everything else.
Hey, I currently use two mice for different purposes but I'd love to have one for everything. For gaming I currently use Keychron M6 with 4k sensor. What I like about the mouse: \- it's super light, probably the lightest mouse I ever used \- 4k polling What I dislike about it: \- both scrolls are horrible \- the side scroll already broke after less than a year \- the body tilt to the right could be smaller For productivity I use Trust Ozza+. What I like about is that: \- The clicks and both scrolls are super quiet. \- It's slightly larger than the keychron \- The right tilt is more subtle What I dislike about it: \- 125Hz polling \- It's heavier than the Keychron In the past I used Razer Naga as I did play lot of mmos but the removeable sidepanel keys became unreliable and could stop working any time during gaming session but what I like about the mouse was that it was quite large. What I am looking for: \- Slient clicks \- At least 1k polling \- The lighter the better \- Relatively large \- Similar body shape to the mice I mentioned.
Hey, is the M6 8K generally better quality than the original M6? I got the 1K a while ago, when it first came out and I'm not super happy with the build quality, specifically the squeakiness of the left and right click. The middle click has become a bit unreliable at times too. Otherwise quite like the mouse!
I have the Keychron one at home and use the Logitech Lift at work. They Keychorn has a better poll rate and is lighter, but the Logitech is more comforatble for my hands. I had to add grip tape and new slides to my Keychron to get it where I could use it for FPS games if needed. I don't always use it for gaming, only if my elbow starts hurting, I will switch over to it from my Razer Viper V3.
I bought the m6 1k with metal scroll wheel and I can confirm that it supports 5 profiles as well. But for whatever reason the m7 1k doesn't. I reached out to support, will see what they say. Good idea regarding profile cycling though, I wasn't seeing a typical profile cycle button on the m6 and was disappointed. But this option works well. Just hoping it can come to the m7 1k as well.
yes, i think it is very wise to stay away from the big ones (Logitech, Razer, ASUS, Corsair,...) i have a womier sk75 keyboard in the office and also waiting for a wobkey rainy 75 for the home office. keychron m6 as mouse. all of them are several classes better than those big company keyboards/mice.
