Actually,Ā  that isn't what I want. What I want is a brand newĀ  mx518, but I just refuse to pay like $150 for a $50 mouse - and that hero sensor has been around half a decadeĀ  Newer doesn't automatically = better, especially with mice

Try looking for a sealed MX518 on ebay or an online seller. Might be your best option.

Although its a G5, I really hope they bring back MX518 back. I should've bought 10 when Legendary Edition released and not 1. I hope they do a wireless one.

Too bad that they scamed people with the 518 remaster with a big downgrade on quality

I had a MX518 for about 10 years before the scroll wheel finally crapped out on me. Still the best mouse I ever used. I bought a MX518 Legendary to collect years ago, it's still in it's box.

My best advice for you would be to grab a MX518 Hero / MX518 Legendary. Those are nice, i have 2 of them. Not my shape but the hero sensor is obviously good & the build on them is quite decent. Picked them up on launch 2019/20 (don’t remember) for 30$ / piece, returns or smth.

It’s also going to be really bad if you’re looking to game. I recommend mx518 hero, it looks just like the OG, only it has the hero sensor. They even kept the garbage black layered feet on the mx518 hero. It’s the same.

21.5 x 12.5 hand here. I tried all the big mouse on market. I'm competitive palyer and top kovaak aimer mouse is important to me. My main were: Model D, O, Deathadder V2, V3, and Beast X Max - biggest version. From cheaper Chinese: Darmoshark M3 pro, this is 130mm, so biggest so far. And now I'm maining Mchose A7, Rawm leviathan V4, ATK A9 air. I tired all previously, intelimouse,mx518, sabre (this is big mouse, with big hump), you can see other in my name tag. If u want ergo: best is deathadder V4 (V3 if u want cheaper) I u want Ambi: cheaper: mchose A7, Darmoshark M3 pro, leviathan V4. Expensive: Viper v3 pro,

Same, I've had my Logitech MX518 for 15 years. Still going strong, good as new. I also have worked from home for the past 6 years so it's been used around 8 hours a day mon-fri in that period of time.

"Finalmouse Classic Ergo", followed by the good old "MX518" were the only ones that really worked for me (I've tried a lot from Razer, Logitech, Lamzu, Zowie, Vaxee, Xtrfy, etc.)
