Coolermaster "CM storm" Mizar. Switched to original G Pro (corded) when it was still in G305 shape afterwards

I've used these gpros since 2019 and these superlights are fantastic. But again after a lot of research there's way cheaper options out there. I'm just use to this, I've tried a few brands. I think the first drop of the glorious mouse was fantastic. But I haven't tried their new tech.

I have the 1st Gen G Pro since 2020 and was never really careful with it and it still works perfectly. Maybe I am just lucky because this is certainly the most reliable mouse I have ever had

I play with the Logitech G Pro Hero 2. Had the original and finally got its predecessor. It’s ambidextrous. 2 buttons on the side and a middle click is all I need. I use it with alt and shift combos. I couldn’t imagine having 20 buttons on the side of my mouse. Just not for me.

Let me write an interesting story. Cutting it short, but I bought a Logitech G Pro (wired one) at release and find myself with 3 of them. I gave one to my brother. Kept another one for later. After 4 years my first mouse died overnight. “Ok bad luck, let me take the other one I have). 6 months later, that second one now has also double clicking while I barely used it. And in between the one of my brother also stopped functioning… I have a very demanding job so I’m not gaming even that much, and still, I mostly play very slow paced games involving a relatively small number of clicks per minute. For most of that time, my brother was leaving abroad, so barely used the mouse… Isn’t that very strange? A bad batch? Planned obsolescence? Want something even more interesting? When I bought the G Pro I equally bought their mechanical keyboard with Romer G or whatever. It also died within that timeframe… So yeah…. Veeeeery curious… I ditched Logitech since then because 4 years lifespan for a 60€ mouse (3 of them actually with 2 barely used) and a 150€ (with discount) keyboard is unacceptable. Now rocking since 4 years a Cherry mechanical keyboard low profile caps and a Zowie mouse. To be seen how long they last but I’m anyway absolutely in love with the Zowie. Couldn’t be purchasing any other mouse to be frank. It’s just absolutely perfect for me.

My Logitech (pro g hero wired) mouse has been doubleclicking for a while now and I’m tired of it. I’m looking to buy a new mouse with longevity and better features :). I was looking at the Logitech super light se (100\~) and the viper v3 se (100\~), but idk how much the polling rate is important (the mouse I have should only be 1k). I have also seen some discussion on the VXE r1 pro max as it also has 2k polling rate, that I think is the sweet spot; but there surely better choices out there so I’m asking you directly!

About 17x8 cm, I find the mouse I’m currently using quite comfy, so without knowing better I would say it fits size-wise
