I had a Logitech G500 for over 10 years. It started doing accidental double clicks regularly, so I had to open it and just bend the micro switch lever back a bit at about 7 years and 9 years. It didn’t actually die, but I moved to and MX Master 3S. I don’t anticipate it will last quite as long since it has a battery, but I’m willing to change that battery, and we will see.

FWIW, I used a G500 for close to a decade without any issues. When that died, I swapped to the G502. Within 2 years, that one started doubleclicking. Got a replacement. That one started doubleclicking within that same year. My friend had multiple G305s that also developed doubleclicking issues. That's all to say -- there was/is absolutely a problem with the mechanical switches used in those mice. No idea if they've fixed it now, but I swore off Logitech mice as a result. I used a Razer Basilisk V3 for a little over 3 years with 0 issues, and only recently swapped over to the wireless version since it was on sale and wanted to swap away from my wired one.

I wish I could. To be fair, I'm a die hard G500 user, but I often swap to the G502 when I need less buttons. The scroll wheel is my least favorite part of the mouse. It's either way too stiff, or way too loose. Uncomfortable to use or so easy to move that I unintentionally scroll all the time.

G500 have nice design, but buttons are prone to die soon (also replacements). It was when I move to Razer.

I think i use the g500? It's the Logitech MMO mouse. Use the side buttons or don't, but that's a quality large mouse. I still find myself doing a mini claw when I prefer to palm, but as a large handed fella, we take what we can get
