"binding strafe to the two side buttons having character movement completely dedicated to my right hand. ... feel really improved my gameplay ... Also binded the other two macro buttons next to left click as modifiers (like alt/ctrl) for more keybind options. ... It frees up your left hand completely for just using abilities allowing you to reach more buttons/have more keybinds."
"Three thumb buttons plus two next to the LMB ... I find it's enough ... I've struggled with actual MMO mice being uncomfortable to use"
"extra buttons are actually *ergonomic* instead that weird grid formation"

"G502 because it has a button to let the scroll wheel free wheel. That's saying enough"
"If you use a tractor beam, Logitech mice with the freewheel. Mx3 or the 502 are awesome. ... You're missing the fun of the spinny wheel!"
"The infinite scroll. ... For long pages, coding, and using so many apps (even 3D modelling, game engines etc). It makes life so much easier. Once you're past the learning curve, you can't go back. It's like scrolling on a phone screen."

"I had that same overpriced piece of logitec garbage a few years ago, and I also had the left click die after a year. ... Logitec uses the cheapest chinese s**t it can find, so the switches die way too quickly."
"But every freakin mouse gets double click issues."
"I kept having the switch in the left mouse button fail."

"Thing is a brick ... After using light weight mice it's hard to go back to that weight."
"trust me there are masochists who fingertip grip a *g502*."
"the weight is way too much even for work."

"it was too small and cramped for my hands ... The G502 and Basilisk thumb area is a bit cramped. I don't have thick fingers, but long ones and my thumbs are a bit wider at the tips than on most people."
"The Teevolution Terra fills the hand much better than my G502 does"
"Thing is a brick ... After using light weight mice it's hard to go back to that weight."

"But every freakin mouse gets double click issues."
"The thing I hate about Logitech is the software is pure trash. ... It used to be so good but the last couple iterations are literally the worst software I've ever used."
"Delete Logitech's software for the G502, set a singular DPI and put it onto on-board storage, you don't need any of the BS"
the mouse is the only thing from logitech i have. I rock the g502 wireless with the charging pad for many years, i love it. The feeling of wireless mouse and never having to manually charge it.
G502 x wired if you only want to spend under $50. Go wireless if you have $120 budget
I have the G502 Wireless. Only issue is sometimes under light movements it kind of moves slightly in weird directions. Maybe its just mine?
Lol I get it! its asymmetric and pointy shape really is ugly
I still have the first gen wired version of this mouse. Only issue iv had is that i need to side load the MMB for it to click down. Alot of reviews talked about the LMB and RMB click switch being not great and iv maybe experienced a false click once or twice in as many years. I use all the weights in my mouse but lost the cover years ago. Great mouse, 10/10 Bought the wireless one for my laptop Does anyone even have a better mouse thats used this one as well?
I used the G502 wired, and then G502 wireless, both had double click and missed click issues - wired within a year of purchase, wireless within 2 years. The battery on the wireless also quickly shortened in life. I swapped to the Razer Viper v2 pro, and Basilisk ultimate for different gaming uses and 5 years later both are going strong. The battery life is good, and they both charge fast, the software has never messed with my PC (Logitech software had a ram leak that caused my PC to crash and I couldn't use it for months with no help from support) I prefer the Basilisk Ultimate for most things, I like a heavier mouse and it does have weight options. I like having the extra mouse buttons, and the scroll wheel has tension settings that are easily adjustable and the buttons / wheel have a nice tactile feel. My only complaint is the rubber grip rest for my thumb is only just now starting to deteriorate slightly. I'd buy another Basilisk pro in a heartbeat. The Viper V2 pro is also very nice to use, lightweight and great functionality. A lot of text to say, I'll never buy a Logitech mouse again in this lifetime
My only gripe with the wireless one after upgrading my OG is there are no weights
I got the wireless version of the G502 based on a recommendation from my brother who has the wired version and we both like ours a lot. Thanks
Been using the G502 Proteus Spectrum on my desktop for years. Haven't found anything I like better. I also have a G502 Hero Lightspeed for my laptop.
Holy crap, tell me more. I have the regular wireless G502, what’s the mmo version?
That’s awesome!! Thanks for the info. I’ll see if I can track it down
Sick! Thanks so much again. Cheers
