TL;DR: MMO button king, durable; but discontinued, heavy, double-click issues.

Having used Corsair MMO mice with the same sort of design and Razer MMO mice as well, my favorite has been the old school Logitech G600. It hasn't been made in I think over a decade, but it has the most ergonomic feel too it. Also it has a shift modifier on the right hand side meaning it can have double the hotkeys of all the other options out there without having to use a modifier on the keyboard. That being said, I backed this mouse as I don't plan on playing MMO's as much these days. The price is cheap, so it's worth the risk, I feel the angle would make this way more comfortable to use.

The G600 if fully programmable and has a tilt programmable mouse wheel too... It also has DPI up and down that are below the scroll wheel that can be programmed. \- 12 side buttons \- Mouse wheel left, right, up, down, click \- DPI Up, DPI down \- Plus the shift modifier \- 38 programmable keys (to 30 for the Darkstar) I'm not sure why we are throwing statistics around when everything you just listed the G600 was equal in if not better, and all of this information is out there. You have the Darkstar now, I get rocking what you have. I really didn't plan to get into a spec comparison. I just felt the G600 is still one of the best in this category, and that others looking through here should keep it in mind as well. As far as this, I'm mostly interested to see how comfortable it is, the price is low enough to gamble on.

I think this was the greatest gaming mouse ever made, and Logitech sadly discontinued it! I just spent like $80 on ebay to get an unopened "Logicool" G600 sent from Japan. My understanding is that this is the same brand, just different name. If logitech or any other brand could please make the next generation / successor of this mouse with a g shift feature for the ring finger I would be so over the moon. Until then I will be extra careful to make sure I get another 5 years out of this awesome mouse. EVGA X15 is the only other mouse on the market that is equivocal, but I have read posts the hardware doesn't last long and the software isn't good either....

Nice! Mine is about 5 years old. I didn't realize they stopped making them and let my toddler play with it... she dropped it a time or two... and the right clicker is sometimes not picking up input which is mildly annoying. I just need to protect this japan version from the kiddo and potentially get another 5 years!

Well considering I've got about five of these g600s with random buttons not working I think I can practice quite a bit lmao. Not sure how I can save the one where a cat chewed on the cord though

This is great info. I've tried a few mmo mouse ever since my g600 died, and none came close to the ergonomics of the g600.

I used to have the G600 (the NA model, not the JP one) and will swear by it, as unfortunate it is that it ended production. Next time I need a replacement I'll just get the JP model if those are still around. Right now I'm using a Redragon M908, it has 12 keys and an extra trigger next to the LMB that's default to rapidfire but can be changed (I use it as a ctrl modifier). I've had it for a year or two now? With no issues.

I’ve used the OG naga, the Logitech G600, and the Corsair Scimitar. All are solid mice, the naga lasted 5 years or so, got it during the ICC raid patch in wows wrath of the lich king expansion. Replaced it with another that only lasted 2 I think. Both had the same problem, the dreaded double left click caused by internal button structure wearing down. You can do short term fixes for it, but it gets annoying. The Logitech lasted about 6 years, different issue, the side buttons stopped responding to input on the 7-9 row, where I keep my big hitter abilities in my task bar. Got the Corsair to replace it as I had heard good things and it’s still going strong. I like the Corsair ICUE software, as others said, it’s a bit awkward until you get the hang of it, but I love that you can sync profiles up with other peripherals, so the mutual lighting effects are matching in my keyboard and headset to. You can also set the devices to ignore the ICUE software and keep a default setup on the onboard memory if you’re taking it elsewhere and want it to feel familiar.

Mine did the same thing eventually, had a Naga Hex MOBA. Loved that mouse but one of the thumb buttons was super inconsistent (still had 5 more) and then it started double clicking and that's when I retired it. Moved onto a Logitech G600 because I can never go back to just a few thumb buttons, I need them all.
