I wasn't using the G600 specifically, I think I had the G602 or whichever model had the 6 side buttons since that's been most comfortable for me, but they've stopped making those as well. I tried one of those cheap Redragons but it was absolutely awful and I have to warn you to stay away from them, the PC software was utterly useless and refused to detect the mouse meaning I couldn't set any bindings or adjust DPI. In the end I'm on a Naga V2. It has a swappable side plate thing so it can be used as a 2/6/12 button config but doesn't have the pinky button you mentioned. The main problems I've had with the Naga v2 are that there is no scroll wheel setting that makes it feel as good as a Logitech (and several of the software scroll wheel settings love to randomly adjust the scroll feel while you're playing), and the swappable side plate can sometimes malfunction because it's relying on these small pins touching metal contacts on the mouse and if it's slightly misaligned, half of your side buttons just stop working until you adjust it back into place. But it's basically what I need otherwise.
G703. You have large hands. Best buy runs sales every week on different mice. This week is the superlight 2 SE. It's the superlight 2 just without the 8k polling rate dongle. Switching to a superlight would probably throw you off. Not sure how often you use the extra buttons on the 502 or switch DPI. I used a G602 for a long time thinking I needed 8 buttons. Now a G pro X. Aim is significantly better and I don't need to have my DPI at 2000 to 360. It takes a couple of weeks to get used to, I use the free steel series mouse trainer.
Hard to tell when the size reference is a mouse that I don't own, but I think we have roughly comparable hand size (my pinky-thumb span is 11"(\~28cm)). I have been mostly happy with the G604. I still have to use a slight claw grip with it but it's not bad. I also have a G602 but it always felt a bit off to me.
My Logitech MX500 is 21 years old, 12 of which heavy use and 9 years of occasional use. Still all original from factory. Still works fine. Only switch to a Logitech g602 to go wireless, been using for 10 years of moderate use. Had to replace Omron D2F-T switches 5 years ago and may need to again in the next year or so.
What's crazy about this post is the only mouse I've had for 10 years has been a discontinued Logitech G602, still works just as well as the day I bought it
Logitech G602 is better. For both games. Anything with extra buttons on the sides proofs useful but G502 would be ok. ROG Spatha with those buttons for big hands going to be a problem. The thumb fatigue and accidental button presses. Check reviews of this build of mouse as some have grooves and angles that make button presses better.
