"aww, wtf. Just found out the G604 was apparently discontinued two years ago 😭 ... Now wishing I had bought a spare to have if my current one gives out. ... There really don't seem to be any other mice that match all of the G604's features and the dwindling stock of 604s are now getting silly expensive :("

"removed the rubber after it started peeling off and replaced it with a thick grip tape"
"the rubber/plastic grip starts to peel up on the sides after about a year or so ... i used superglue to stick it back down"
"The rubber doesn't last long and starts to peel pretty early."
I just wish it had more buttons and higher polling. I use a G604 because of that. All my buttons are either macros or assigned keys.
r/buildapc • What’s the best mouse money can buy? ->The G604 was a game changer for me. I just couldn't play GW2 without it anymore. The right click switch has been dying for a couple of years now. And I recently switched to the Razer Naga since G604 is sadly no longer in production.
r/Guildwars2 • Trying to improve combat skills & am considering Action Camera and MMO keyboard and/or mouse. Worth it? Other ideas? ->Logitech G604 is a life saver.
r/Guildwars2 • How The Heck Do Y’all Press All These Buttons?! (New To MMORPGs On PC) ->On all my toons I bind movement speed to the mouse wheel tilt so that was important to me too. The Logitech G604 also has decent side buttons (6 + 2 top) and mouse wheel tilt... Logitech discontinued it last year though so when mine dies I'm probably going to have to go back to Naga, which I got the Logitech to avoid since my Nagas kept breaking.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->If any of my G502 or G604 mice breaks i'm going for that Redragon mouse. I like the look of the M811 and think it'd be a fine replacement.
r/wow • I need a new MMO mouse. ->Another one for the G502. I have the wired version. It's been with me for like 4-5 years and has held up exceptionally well. There are 6 different buttons you can remap with the Logitech software so it's a great pick. If you can find one for a reasonable price then then G604 (the mouse I'm currently using) is the best one. However, it's out of production and really hard to come by now :(
r/wow • I need a new MMO mouse. ->Yeah, just love the G604 too. Luckily, I got a good used one as a replacement on eBay. But I don't know what to do once they stop working or spare parts are no longer available.
r/LogitechG • I just want to talk about my favorite logitech product. G600 mmorpg mouse. ->I love my G604 👍
r/pcmasterrace • The 25 most recommended gaming mouse according to Reddit (in the past year as of Jun 2025) ->Hard to tell when the size reference is a mouse that I don't own, but I think we have roughly comparable hand size (my pinky-thumb span is 11"(\~28cm)). I have been mostly happy with the G604. I still have to use a slight claw grip with it but it's not bad. I also have a G602 but it always felt a bit off to me.
r/pcmasterrace • Help for a mouse that fits my hand ->The g602 and g604 were the goats imo. But for some reason Logitech discontinued them without a newer revised version. Buy you can still find them on Amazon or eBay
r/wow • I need a new MMO mouse. ->There's very well-known double-click issues with all logitech mice. They use a shitty switch. I went through 3 of the 604's in 5 years because they became unusable. I could buy them for sub-40, so I just dealt with it..but now that they discontinued that model, I've gone out and bought switches I'll eventually get around to trying to solder onto them to replace the garbage ones, since I didn't throw any of them away. It was the best mouse I've ever had...until it wasn't.
r/buildapc • Wireless Gaming mice without “gamer aesthetic?” ->Just my opinion, but 604 is the best mouse ever made, except for the fact that it begins double clicking almost immediately. I hate that they discontinued it. I'm using a razor now, and it's fine, but just doesn't feel as good as the 604 did. I had a Red Dragon gaming mouse before I started on the 604's and the same thing, it was ok, but not nearly as good of a feel as the 604. I've got 3 old ones sitting around, waiting for me to get around to trying to replace the switches.
r/buildapcsales • [Mouse] EVGA X15 MMO Gaming Mouse (GROUP BUY) - $11.99 ->I love my G604 to death, I need to take it apart and replace the switches with the Japanese ones, but I plan on using it until the electronics go out.
r/MouseReview • What take on mice will have you like this? ->I love my g604. I've got no idea what imma do when it eventually breaks down
r/pcmasterrace • The 25 most recommended gaming mouse according to Reddit (in the past year as of Jun 2025) ->Man... I was using the Logitech G604 for 4 years before that happened. That Death Adder put it to shame
r/pcmasterrace • Daily driver for 12 years and started double clicking randomly, RIP ->Man... I was using the Logitech G604 for 4 years before that happened. That Death Adder put it to shame
r/pcmasterrace • Daily driver for 12 years and started double clicking randomly, RIP ->Man... I was using the Logitech G604 for 4 years before that happened. That Death Adder put it to shame
r/pcmasterrace • Daily driver for 12 years and started double clicking randomly, RIP ->Logitech G604. It’s advertised as a “gaming” mouse but the extra buttons make it an ideal productivity mouse as well. When my G602 died I tried replacing it with a G502 but I *needed* those extra buttons and ponied up the cash for the G604; the G502 was just tossed in a drawer and hasn’t been used in years.
r/pcmasterrace • What mice should I first buy? ->My g604 rubber is slowly disintegrating and is now help together by grip tape skins. I don’t look forward to the day the electronics die. It’s awesome. Perfect tactile main and side buttons. Bluetooth and 2.4. Removable batteries. Infinite scroll wheel. They need to make an improved successor
r/LogitechG • The g600, the greatest gaming mouse ever? Discontinued? Logitech, you crazy! ->Try G604 Logitech, if it's still available.. been using it for 5 years
r/MouseReview • In need of a mouse that fits big/long hands. ->I use the Logitech G604, it's not made anymore so you'd have to look on eBay etc, but it's got high polling rate, lots of programmable buttons, and has an infinite scroll wheel that you can toggle on and off.
r/SolidWorks • Best mouse for CAD in 2025? ->The G604 is nice for me and I am a fairly large human. It's a shame it was discontinued.
r/MouseReview • I feel like every single mice is too small ->Hey sorry I didn't read the description. I would recommend you to look towards ergo mice. You should look towards ergo mice. May from rapoo or Logitech. But all ergo mice for me always fails with switches. Out of the list you have only Razer and ATK A9 will for your need. I am using a Razer Naga V2 pro for office or casual use as I have use for all the side buttons in my workflow. Earlier I used Logitech g604 which failed 2 time in just a year of use(double clicks) I use my mouse more than normal so i always want a optical switch in the mouse. You can also look towards Mchose G7 as it's also ergo on mid to large side.
r/mkindia • Please help me choose for a mouse | ATK,VXE,Logi,Razer ->I have A9 ultra which costed me 5k with 8k polling dongle. In your use case it not worth it. I am now only getting a mouse with optical mouse buttons no mechanical as I will get them to double click in just a year. Unfortunately all mouse with optical mouse button comes in either pro or ultra version which cost twice.
r/mkindia • Please help me choose for a mouse | ATK,VXE,Logi,Razer ->this is what i did. the g604 was perfect with 9 side buttons and ample space below them to rest my thumb. the 12 button pads give me no room to rest my thumb and trying to adjust over a few months ended up with me getting cramp/fatigue in my thumb.
r/MMORPG • MMO Mouse (12 button) Enjoyers... help :D ->Cries in G604. I like a dual PC mouse that doesn't require me to lift the mouse up to click a switch. Change device buttons should be on the top, or at the least let me assign which button does the changing.
r/pcmasterrace • The 25 most recommended gaming mouse according to Reddit (in the past year as of Jun 2025) ->RedDragon is a brand that I bought from after my Logitech G604 started falling apart. The mouse is a little clicky on the button press compared to the Logitech, but I've quickly gotten used to it. The M811RGB-PRO was my replacement, ymmv. When it comes to MMOs (and other games) I use a Logitech G13. Alas no longer on sale, but the hand is well supported at the wrist and it has a thumb joystick. Four fingers rest on the most used buttons, and I set up nearby buttons that are slightly less frequently used. Here's an (old) sample layout that I mocked up to show the idea: the red keys are where you rest fingers and the blue are easiest each. Yellow are for when you need something and movement is not a contributing factor. https://preview.redd.it/nvykk7a7vclf1.jpeg?width=1006&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d2fd80b13c879c82967a31e4879fd5798e87bbbd
r/Guildwars2 • Players with accessibility issues, how do you play? ->Try logitech G604. It's got a flared base and larger profile. I've also got larger hands, though not quite as so as this photo makes yours appear, and it's a better fit than most.
r/pcmasterrace • Help for a mouse that fits my hand ->Yeah same, and I'm surprised this isn't more common because there are so few peripherals that use replaceable batteries nowadays. I find keeping a couple of recharged batteries in your drawer to be way more convenient than needing another cable/dock on the desk, or worse, needing to use it wired temporarily if I forget to charge it the night before. Every time my G604's battery indicator flashes red (probably every 2 months?), I probably have *days* to swap out the battery, which I do in 10 seconds anyway because again, I always have a couple of charged batteries in my drawer.
r/buildapcsales • [MOUSE] Razer Naga V2 HyperSpeed Wireless MMO Gaming Mouse - $66.99 ($99.99-$33) ->This product has been discontinued.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->You can’t be certain as if it was a good selling product that made good benefits to them. I love this mouse but my has been broken since 1 year. I bought another Corsair Darkstar as a replacement. I can suggest one of my old post which you can [find here](https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/1cgyn4t/similar_mouse_as_logitech_g604/)which will surely help you if you love the G604.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I hate them now - using my old G604 for as long as I can. It’s weird how they always have some for $300 on Amazon but when I talk to Logitech - it’s a 3rd party selling from their offices store so they can price gouge.
r/LogitechG • What Logitech mouse is everyone using right now? ->Logitech G604 has 6 side buttons, but is heavy Razer Naga Hex and Naga Trinity have a circular button layout, but are not produced anymore Glorious Model I has 4 side buttons, and is very light Personally, I'm looking for a lightweight replacement for my G604.
r/MMORPG • Alternative MMO gaming mouse? ->604 was better. But in typical Logitech fashion, they dropped support and removed all traces of it from their website like a year after releasing it. 6 programmable and easily accessible thumb buttons.. modern hero sensor and high dpi, latency free wireless, and replaceable battery. R.I.P. G604.
r/gaming • Why was the Logitech G203 considered to be the best gaming mouse of all time? ->I'm surprised it hasn't already been mentioned: **Logitech G604**: * Six thumb buttons * Wide and long body (great ergonomics for my palm grip) * Great scroll wheel that can be easily mode-switched between ratcheted and free-spinning * Quick switch button between Bluetooth and 2.4Ghz USB dongle (I use the switching much more than I would have anticipated to switch between my work laptop and gaming PC) * Great sensor (the relatively low polling rate of the Darkfield sensors has long been my only real issue w/ the MX Master mice) * Only real downside (in my experience) is that it's on the heavier side by modern gaming mouse standards (~140g). I've never found it much of an issue, but I do sometimes switch to my Naga Pro for certain games. Edit: aww, wtf. Just found out the G604 was apparently discontinued two years ago 😭 Now wishing I had bought a spare to have if my current one gives out. There really don't seem to be any other mice that match all of the G604's features and the dwindling stock of 604s are now getting silly expensive :(
r/buildapc • Wireless Gaming mice without “gamer aesthetic?” ->See I don't agree with your priorities at all. Keychron is kinda overpriced, and that mouse is super basic. I'd go with a Logitech G502 lightspeed, then a Redragon K689 because I love numpads. Personally I have a G604 lightspeed, but they don't make those anymore, and my K689 I've modded the switches with Outemu Peach V3 switches, but if I didn't hate loud keyboards, then I'd be totally fine with the mint mambo switches it came with.
r/buildapc • Good wireless gaming keyboard and wireless gaming mouse recommendations with a budget of $150 for both ->Really depends what kind of gamer you are. Many people in this sub are FPS players who value weight above everything. This almost always means 4 button mice (excluding wheel). If thats you the viper v3 pro is a solid choice. Probably the most popular mouse at the moment and for a reason. If you like using mouse keybinds something with a few more could better fit you. (Razer basilisk v3 pro, logitech g604 etc). For office work, IMO, an off the shelf 20-30$ mouse from a decent brand (logtech, asus, etc) is usually best. As long as it has soft mechanical switches, and ideally side buttons too, it works for me.
r/MouseReview • Can a gaming mouse be a GOOD productivity mouse? ->I was a long time g604 user, switched to SS Rival 500 which was amazing but also then discontinued. I am now using logi g502 SE and its the best that I could find for that task
r/wow • What MMO mouse would you Recommend for WoW? ->G604, I want to buy another one but now they're like 200 dollars because Logitech doesn't make them anymore
r/thefinals • So which rodent is guiding your crosshair today? ->Review of the ATK U2 This is my first review like this i hope it is useful to someone. I am using a standard tape measure and converting from inches to cm so measurements might not be exact. This is my hand size for reference. My hand size is about 17.78cm x 8.89cm and my thumb is on the short, stumpy side at around 5.08cm. First off a little TLDR Warning a backstory to my mouse journey. So the Journey began with my first mouse a redragon M901 equipped with PMW3360 Precision Sensor. Then I tried the Redragon M913 Impact Elite equipped with the Pixart 3335. It was decent much better then the stock mice I always got with the prefab desktops I had as a kid. I returned it because the battery life was horrible on it and stuck with the wired version. Moving on I purchased my first name brand mouse real gaming mouse it was the Logitech g604 using the HERO 16K sensor. This bad boy was a chonker weighing in at 135 grams. But boy did it feel better. Everything about it felt more precise. I want to say I mained this bad boy for about a year. I I started watching a lot of reviews on mice and got the itch to try something new. Less buttons as I had gotten tired of setting up hotkeys for my games and wanted something that I could set up and key a few buttons quickly and get to playing. I also wanted to try lighter wireless mice as I had heard they are a lot better. This is when I stumbled onto the g305. It used the same HERO 16K sensor if I'm not mistaken with the model I had (I have sold it since then). It was lighter and had a decent sensor for the time. I used the AAA battery mod in it. The only thing I didn't really like about that mouse was that the back end sits low, the middle is pretty wide for my grip style. It felt off to me. Shortly after I got the Orochi v2 and this was the best I had tried. Equipped with the 5G Advanced 18K DPI Optical Sensor (according to tech power up it's a the PixArt PAW3369) the shape fit my claw style grip it was light weight and it felt perfect. Well this was short lived not long after I tried the viper mini because I wanted to try optical switches and it was a cheap way to do so. The Viper Mini is equipped with the PAW3359. I fell in love with the switches and just hated the cable. I wasn't sure if it was a placebo or if the opticals really felt quicker to me and more responsive but I was stuck on them. So I bought the viper ultimate. This checked all my boxes at the time. Light weight for the time 74g, opticals switches, and wireless. It came equipped with the Focus+ sensor (PAW3399). My claw grip felt great on this mouse. The only thing I didn't like about the mouse was the side buttons on the side for left handed people. Not a big deal as it was easy to disable and the rubber grips they wear down after time. I tried the G-Wolves HSK Wired equipped with the PWM3389 Sensor and weighing in at 36g. I liked the weight, the lack of side buttons was the deal breaker for me and the fact it was wired. I liked the size of it and felt pretty nice in my hand but the wire was annoying to me and the lack of side buttons just made it not suitable for my gaming needs. I continued to mained the viper ultimate until the release of the viper v2 pro and ordered the hyper polling dongle as soon as it launched, 4k Hrz polling later updated to 8k hHrz polling. The v2 pro was a huge upgrade to me, lighter at 58g as opposed to 74G, and equipped with the Focus Pro 30K (PixArt PAW3950). This was mained until the release of the Viper Mini SE. i Originally passed on the first batch of the Viper Mini SE due to the price and having spent so much on the Viper V2 pro at launch and not having used it super long. But the beauty of the Viper Mini SE got to me. It really checked all the boxes I wanted in a mouse. Super light weight at 48.3 grams, High Polling 8k Hrz, amazing Build quality, and top tier sensor. The down side was the price tag. Once it came back in stock my Ex ordered it for me. I have since put it up for personal reasons and this led me on the journey to find my new main. So now here we are with the ATK U2. I started looking for a new mouse and didn't want to spend Razer, Logitech, Final Mouse kind of money on my next mouse. I stumbled onto a lot of different brands of Allie Express Mice and noticed something sub $70 8k polling support on a mouse. This caught my eyes. I also noticed they had it implemented for wired and wireless. Both my V2 Pro and Viper Mini SE only supported 8k in wireless mode which I always found silly and figured it had to do with the dongle having something in it that allowed it since the V2 Pro only came stock with the 1k dongle. I looked some more and noticed the the ATK F1 extreme supported the 8k polling wired/wireless and its shape is almost exactly as the hitscan hyperlight. Which is very close to the viper mini shape. Watched a lot of reviews on ATK and i ordered the F1 Extreme for about $69. My copy came in at 35.73g with 4 tiger ice v2 dot skates. I got it in the mail, got it out of the box and I was in love, boxed up my Viper mini SE and put it in storage. I had seen the zowie U2 shape and wanted to try it but never bought one. I had seen the ATK U2 on sale when I was looking for a new mouse but the 49 +/- weight was a turn off for me because I wanted a super light mouse sub 40g with 8k polling because i remembered loving the weight of the gwolves hsk wired and now sub 40g wireless is a thing. So after using the ATK F1 extreme i ordered the ATK U2 ultimate for about $56. TLDR over on to the review. My copy of the ATK U2 comes in at 52.31g with the stock skates. I got it from aliexpress so i don't know how the shipping from ATK’s Official site is. The unboxing experience is nice. It comes packed in a brown box that says ATK on it. Inside of that box is the mouse's actual box. It comes with an 8k dongle, a decent paracord cable on the stiffer side of paracord cables, and extra skates. I have not used extra skates. They say they are control skates. It also comes with grip tape as well. I don't like to use grip tape but its a nice addition. Software/Web Driver: ATK U2 has 2 ways to use the software for mouse adjustments: a web driver [ATK HUB](https://hub.atk.pro/) and the software. I use both. I prefer the web driver if I'm messing with settings for the mouse. It's just more fluid and it's easy to use in English. The software was in Chinese from the start for me a little messing around i got it working in English. I use the software if I want to quickly look at the battery level of the mouse. The web driver you have to add the mouse each time you load it if you close the browser. With the software you do not have too. Both Drivers are full of features and do the same things. Allows you to adjust DPI, Polling Rate, Angle, LOD, Dongle RGB setting, Key binds, and Firmware updates and much more. Only complaint I have about the software is that the Key binds do not have the ability to be paired to the application you use. This was a feature that kept me liking Logitech and razors software as buggy as synapse is. This is an easy fix honestly and I wished I found it sooner. I started using a program called X-mouse Button Control. This allows you to be able to implement your key binds using X-Mouse Button Control and set them up to be used on a per application basis i also set it up to have google cloud save my key binds to the cloud so i have thin in an event that i have to reformat my PC and don't have to go back the key binding process. X-Mouse Button Control fixes my only complaint about their software and its free and pretty light on computer Resources. [You can Get X-Mouse Button Control here](https://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/xmousebuttoncontrol.htm) The Shell And Coating: The mouse has a nice coating; it feels kind of like a smooth matte texture. It's not a rough feeling like the V2 Pros texture. Not on the shell something felt off when compared to my old V2 Pro and I couldn't put my finger on it until I was reading some other reviews. The shell does not feel as dense. I have tried squeezing the mouse pretty hard more than you would put on the mouse in normal day to day use and I don't get any squeaking, creaking or flexing. So it is not a bad feeling that it feels less dense, it's just how it is. Battery life: I have not had the mouse dies once on me i have a bad habit of if i'm done i will toss the mouse on the charge that being said i have been running it at 8k polling and ran it multiple sessions without charging the 800mah battery makes 8k Hrz honestly feel like when i used 1k Hrz with older wireless tech. The Grip: The mouse honestly feels to me like it speaks to you. When I grabbed it for the first time my grip was pretty much locked in. It is one of the most comfortable mice I have used for my claw grip. Clicks and Scroll wheel: The Omron Opticals are on par with razer opticals in my opinion. They have a nice crisp click quick and easily spammable buttons. The side buttons feel great they are pretty good size not tiny and the placement of them is perfect it's designed in such a way i don't have to feel like i have to place my tomb in a specific place to hit the button it feels like my thumb wants to be there and the buttons just happen to be where they can be hit easily. The Scroll wheel is using the TTC Gold encoder. It feels amazing with great tactile steps. The scroll slick is easy to use and I have not gotten any accidental scrolls while clicking. The main chip: is the Nordic 52840 The Sensor: Not much to say they did a great job implementing the Pixart PAW3950. Honestly i feel its on Par with Razers implementation of it The Dongle: The dongle is ok. It has adjustable RGB which is nice. I would have liked the dongle to be smaller and more of a normal shape but it's not an added cost to the mouse, it's included with it and it works really well so all and all no gripes. All in all this is my favorite mouse, my new main. I liked it so much I bought a 2nd one on sale for around $49. I plan to do some mods to it, a battery weight reduction, use dot skates, and add qi charging to it. When I get my second copy in the mail I will make any updates I need to to this review. # ATK U2 = 10/10 Would Recommend
r/MouseReview • ATK U2 Review ->Logitech G604, incredibly comfortable, 6 macro buttons for gaming/productivity, and very responsive
r/buildapc • What’s the best mouse money can buy? ->Personally, I don’t like my peripherals to have the ‘gamer’ aesthetic. People in here badmouthing Corsair and recommending Razr are funny - it’s the same marketing gimmicks on mid or low quality stuff. I use a Logitech 604 Lightspeed - I seldom see it mentioned but I love mine. It’s 6 extra side buttons which is plenty for my use-case.
r/wow • What MMO mouse would you Recommend for WoW? ->I loved my G604 but the double click issue was so incredibly frustrating.
r/MMORPG • What’s the best mmo mouse ->Damn dude your hands are massive, maybe even bigger than mine. Ill give you the list of all of the mice I've tried. 1. Steel Series Aerox 5 - probably my favorite but it is expensive, I don't particularly like the software, It had an issue where it would disconnect randomly sometimes, and after a few years the scroll wheel stopped working. But the weight and button configuration are what are great about this one. It also has a comfortable shape for big hands. 2. Pulsar xlite v4 large - great mouse, great shape, i can almost palm it, I can if im feeling lazy, wide enough for a comfy finger tip grip that large hands pretty much have to use. I wish it had more side buttons but this is my current mouse that i replaced the Aerox with and I love it. I whole heartedly recommend giving this one a try. It has a simple software that just does what its supposed to and nothing else. The software also doesnt need to be running all the time. 3. Mionix Naos Pro - its almost perfect, its almost what i want it to be. if it were just a little taller i would be able to palm it. I think its a solid choice for xxl hands but its just not quite there, the pulsar is far lighter and has a better shape for fingertip grip. 4. Steel series rival - solid, heavy, you can actually add weights to make it heavier. back when i used this i didnt think i would like a light mouse. over all a good mouse with a good shape for large hands. 5. Logi G604 - great mouse, i dont think they make them anymore so they are hard to find/expensive. Scroll wheel is great. Probably about as close to an mx master as your gonna get. Has the weird shape where it gets skinnier where the ring and pinky finger rest so you end up dragging or sticking out your pinky. Lots of thumb buttons, did i mention i like that. 6. Roccat kone xp air - weird shape, almost looks like a left handed mouse but its not. i really like the button configuration but the shape just makes it uncomfortable for the ring and pinky finger, side buttons arent worth an uncomfortable grip 7. Logi G900 - meh one of the first "large" mice i aquired. Its too narrow to be comfortable for xxl hands. 8. Logi G502 - dont listen to anyone who recommends this mouse, its actually not really any smaller than any of the other mice here but the button placement is verry uncomfortable for xxl large hands. I think that about covers it other than I use an mxMaster 3 at work. I would still like for these all to be a little bigger but gaming mice don't get any bigger than this that i have found. TLDR I RECCOMEND THE PULSAR XLITE V4 LARGE Edit - I've held some of the razers at the store and i didn't particularly care for them.
r/pcmasterrace • Help for a mouse that fits my hand ->The G604 is my favorite mouse of all time. Light weight. Long battery. Incredibly accurate and customizable. Plus all those sweet, sweet buttons. Less than an “MMO mouse” but enough to handle all my keybinds. What’s weird is that Logitech discontinued the 600 series, but they have about a half dozen models now that all have a similar button configuration to each other. But none of them have the same buttons as the 604, which is a crying shame. I have one 604 still going strong, and another one in reserve in case my primary ever fails me. Hoping Logitech resurrects the series at some point.
r/wow • I need a new MMO mouse. ->Hey op, I'm a stroke gamer (wierd calling like that lol) myself. Been using mouse with loads button for gaming as well since 2017. Logitech g502 is my first gaming mouse I use, works great for cod and few shooter but abit limited, button wise. I also tried logi g604 too but don't like. The side button abit too hard to get use it for me Currently I use evga x15. So far the best mouse for me. 20 buttons and you can customise everything with 5 profile in their evga app. I beat wukong entirely using this mouse and heck the first game I unlocked all achievement in steam too xD Negative side it's quite heavy but I'm used to it now so no biggie. Also i do have pedals aswell, another extra 3 button for gaming lol
r/pcmasterrace • How I Returned to PC Gaming with One Hand After My Stroke ->Logitech g604 is pretty decent. Although the rubber/plastic grip starts to peel up on the sides after about a year or so, i used superglue to stick it back down. it's got 6 thumb buttons, tiltable clutch mouse wheel and two extra buttons to the left corner under your index finger that can be remapped from dpi settings to anything else. Just make sure you grab a usb rechargeable battery for it, [something like this](https://www.liteshop.com.au/content/fenix-arb-l14-1600u-usb-rechargeable-lithium-ion-battery/) lasts a week easily with all day use. plus it's got the lightspeed wireless, so alot better than bluetooth.
r/starcitizen • Recommend mouse for SC? ->I have two G604s. One i bought a new shell for on Alieexpress since the rubber melted away.
r/thefinals • So which rodent is guiding your crosshair today? ->LG G604 is no longer produced, but it's a wide hefty boi with tons of programmable buttons. I used it for years
r/pcmasterrace • Help for a mouse that fits my hand ->I always liked the Logitech G604, but they unfortunately stopped making them. Might be able to find a good deal on ebay or something though.
r/MouseReview • Looking for Mice Recommendations MMO-ish style. ->Logitech G602 / G604 probably the best mouse ever made and it’s a tragic loss they discontinued them. Has just the right amount of buttons without being too cluttered and tightly spaced.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Nothing will beat the g604 to me. Sadly discontinued. I’ve tried a bunch of other mice but that one has the best feel and amazing side buttons.
r/MMORPG • Gaming Mouse recommendations for MMOs? ->Ahh I miss this bad boy. I actually loved how heavy it was. I use a G604 now, which is fine. But I do miss the third row of buttons sometimes. They both suffered at various times from the double click disease though.
r/pcmasterrace • Help for a mouse that fits my hand ->Mine barely works now, rubbers all melted and tore up, double clicking on both plus middle click is dead.
r/LogitechG • The g600, the greatest gaming mouse ever? Discontinued? Logitech, you crazy! ->Logitech G604 I think is the best button layout and size of buttons.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Dang why would they discontinue one of there most popular mouses? I just looked its $230 on amazing now with nearly 8k reviews lol
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->1. Yes. Logitech G604. They no longer sell those, unfortunately, but to me it's a perfect combo of shape, button placement and amount of buttons. 6 buttons easily provide up to 24 binds under the thumb (blank, shift, alt, ctrl). 2. it depends. If you can find a model that works for you, than yes. Buying a super-expensive mouse with gazillion of buttons won't do any good if it does not fit your hand. 3. no. Throughout my MMO history (which started before vanilla WoW was released), it's possible to be good with any type of controls. I've seen amazing 'clicker' healers, who could carry raids, and I've seen lame tanks struggling with their fancy Nagas. Some people prefer crazy keybinds across the entire keyboard, some go for a mix of everything. You can be good with whatever works for you.
r/ffxiv • MMO mouses ->Honestly, if you can get a used G604, go for it. You can replace the switches and replace the rubber with those grip tape. Switch replacement (search for "Huyun G604" in Amazon) - No soldering needed. Grip tape/pads (search for "Dragon Grips Black 5"x7" in Amazon) - The rubber doesn't last long and starts to peel pretty early. Just remove the whole thing and replace with the grip tape. It uses AA batteries, so it's the best for longevity, no built in batteries that can cause issues down the line. I personally bought 3 G604s, 2 as a replacement. But I'm still on my first one and it's been years. I replaced the switches, and the rubber, and I just don't see it breaking anytime soon. Logitech GHub still supports it, and I don't think they will remove the support for it. They will probably just make a new software just like what they did before.
r/MouseReview • Which MMO mouse these days? Software being a factor. ->When Logitech G604 came out, I bought it right away and thought that it was really good, So I bought 2 more as extras. Replaced the switches on the first one, removed the rubber after it started peeling off and replaced it with a thick grip tape, and has replaced the feet multiple times, and it has been running like a champ. As long as Logitech supports it, I'll keep using it. I don't think it's gonna break anytime soon, and I have 2 bnib as extras.
r/MouseReview • Where have all the MMO-styled Mice Gone? ->G604. I love the extra buttons and the layout, but Logi stopped making these pretty quickly. Luckily, I've danced this dance before and bought extras. I'm hoping there will be something similar when these all go kaput.
r/LogitechG • What Logitech mouse is everyone using right now? ->I love my Logitech G604 - the shape is better, than G600 and other more square'y alterntatives, it has that hyper wheel (made of metal!), both Bluetooth + USB dongle, it's powered by a single AA that can be replaced by a rechargeable and it lasts for like a year.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->The g604 is god tier for me but after my last broke has become unobtanium due to the costs. I replaced the board once already and now the rubber is falling apart. I sadly had to move on to the g502x plus hero super ti or whatever it's called.
r/buildapcsales • [Mouse] EVGA X15 MMO Gaming Mouse (GROUP BUY) - $11.99 ->I use the Logitech G604 and absolutely love it. It doesn’t have as many buttons on its side as others but the middle mouse button can be flicked left and right which has been so handy when healing And I needed to quickly swiftcast and rez someone or use them for closers and gappers. The LMB has two other buttons that are programmable. Do I think it makes me a better player. Yes, i feel like I can perform at my jobs better, I don’t have to have my hands stretching across the keyboard, it’s rests comfortably on movement keys with easy access to Shift,Ctrl and Alt. Are they necessary? I don’t know. To me, definitely there’s no way I could play without one with how many buttons I need to push. But some out there might be able to play without it.
r/ffxiv • MMO mouses ->Rip. I had to replace G602 from logitech for the same reason (lasted me a good few years) . They stopped making that one and the g604 felt like a downgrade. The software to set up the buttons is terribly slow compared to what i remembered and the “auto switch” when it detects a game is trash. I wish it would just let me set my profile and stick to it until i change it again. That being said ive had this one for a few years now and the rubber grip is starting to deteriorate, the rubber also separated from the plastic housing so its kinda just flopping there. Id give it a 7/10.
r/pcmasterrace • Daily driver for 12 years and started double clicking randomly, RIP ->Rip. I had to replace G602 from logitech for the same reason (lasted me a good few years) . r/pcmasterrace • Daily driver for 12 years and started double clicking randomly, RIP ->There isn't. Mine recently had a double click issue and I tried to shop around. Eventually I bought a new pcb with buttons already soldered on (you can desolder old switches and put new ones on), but yeah it seems if you love the G604, take care of it and buy some spares.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->1: Mine is just a gaming mouse Logitech G604 (Don't get this one it has a problem with randomly disconnecting) 2: Very worth it, not compltely necessary (you can really fiddle with your hotbars) 3: It helps me execute actions faster atleast idk if I'm a good player tho
r/ffxiv • MMO mouses ->As someone with big ass hands. Logitech G604 is my go to
r/pcmasterrace • Help for a mouse that fits my hand ->Agree, g604 best mouse I have ever used
r/buildapcsales • [MOUSE] Razer Naga V2 HyperSpeed Wireless MMO Gaming Mouse - $66.99 ($99.99-$33) ->Same! I have it as well but it's getting old and Ned's replacement..
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I like the G604 and G602, I did not enjoy the G600, found it too bulky and heavy.
r/MouseReview • Recommend me a mouse ->I use a Logitech 604, I like having thumb buttons but I feel like 12 is too much. 6 is the sweet spot.
r/wow • What MMO mouse would you Recommend for WoW? ->I find it hard to pick up. I use Logitech G604, it fits my hand well. I only wish they hadn’t discontinued them. I bought two extra when I found out.
r/wow • Best mouse ever? ->There’s also g604 which is basically the same mouse but both of mine are dead now. So sad, that rubber part is dying first as well. Since g604 is almost completely rubber.
r/PUBATTLEGROUNDS • Those of you who play on PC, what type of mouse do you use? ->map all numbers to mouse..then just numbers and ctrl/alt+number. so can always on the move with wasd, and some less use functions on keyboard. sigh, logitech really need to release new g604.
r/Guildwars2 • How The Heck Do Y’all Press All These Buttons?! (New To MMORPGs On PC) ->I prefer wireless and a few less buttons. I go with the somewhat similar, no longer manufactured Logitech G602 and G604 on all of my computers. I also prefer better manufacturing and software that doesn't misbehave randomly like Razer's does.
r/wow • Best mouse ever? ->I use Logitech G604 which has a good number of buttons for mmorpg. Recently trying Aerox 9 which has 12 buttons at the side which is a little harder to handle for me.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Have a brand new one in the box in reserve, feel like a dummy not buying all the ones Best Buy had for $25 (didn't realize they were discontinuing the G604 at the time) GOAT Mouse for sure.
r/buildapcsales • [MOUSE] Razer Naga V2 HyperSpeed Wireless MMO Gaming Mouse - $66.99 ($99.99-$33) ->G604 but its falling apart and I'm having a hard time finding a replacement I like 😭
r/LogitechG • What Logitech mouse is everyone using right now? ->I used the Logitech g604 and honestly that was my go to mouse for 4ish years before it finally crapped out on me. Unfortunately Logitech discounted it and I've bounced around the market for awhile before settling on the areox 9 from steel series which feels alright but not quite as my beloved g604
r/ffxiv • MMO mouses ->I think you guys get into a rut of using the same mouse for everything, 140g IS a lot... for an fps. 140g for a game like Terraria isn't bad. I bust out my g604 for almost anything with a hotbar
r/MouseReview • What take on mice will have you like this? ->Same with my G604, I love the 6 side buttons, it's the sweet spot for me. Unfortunately it's discontinued. Looks like Razer may have a decent replacement, although it's almost $200, which is fucking absurd.
r/wow • I need a new MMO mouse. ->That's a great call! Unfortunately, my passion is the G604, which is no longer made. I have a Steelseries Aerox 9 in reserve for when both my 604s are no longer rescuable. The Aerox Has 12 programmable side buttons similar to the 600, but it doesn't havd infinite scroll.
r/LogitechG • I just want to talk about my favorite logitech product. G600 mmorpg mouse. ->Yes, let's face it Logitech dropped the ball when they stopped making the G604, and there's no proper substitutes.
r/LogitechG • I just want to talk about my favorite logitech product. G600 mmorpg mouse. ->1. I use the Logitech G604. I specifically picked this one because I wanted a wireless mouse. If i didn't want a wireless mouse, a cheaper, off-brand mmo mouse would be just fine for me. 2. Worth it? For me, yes. Necessary? No. In fact, recently I've been playing with a controller more often. 3. No, it just helps with a particular struggle. If you don't have the struggle, you don't need the mouse. I did not buy it because youtubers used it, I bought it because I struggled with keybinds.
r/ffxiv • MMO mouses ->Its discontinued but Logitech g604 if you can get your hands on one. 6 buttons on the side. 2 on left button, g shift keys. Only downside is when it gets the double click issue. But recently found a diy guide to fix that too. I hope they bring back something like that again.
r/wow • I need a new MMO mouse. ->Logitech G604, its only 6 side buttons but one of the best mice i have ever owned, currently on it way out after 4-5 years of constant use (grip is cracking and peeling). On the lookout for something new.
r/MMORPG • What MMO mouse do you use? ->Logitech g604 Good luck finding out however as they are end of life
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I like my g604. 6 side buttons but only 5 are usable (1 of them reduces sensitivity so it's a "sniper" button).
r/MMORPG • People who stopped using a MMO Mouse after years, how long did it take to adapt? ->Give me 4 more thumb buttons and switching Bluetooth devices on the fly and you have my money. Even 300$. The last mouse which got close to greatness and endgame was Logitech g604
r/MouseReview • End game silent gaming mouse ->The G604 (and G602) was one of the greatest mice ever and it shouldn’t have been discontinued. Sure it needed some better components but a refresh not a discontinuation.
r/MouseReview • What take on mice will have you like this? ->My perfect mouse is the g604. That was like a glove to my palm. RIP g604 🙏🏼
r/MouseReview • I feel like every single mice is too small ->Yes with the 6 buttons on the thumb.
r/MouseReview • I feel like every single mice is too small ->For real. I had a g604 and swapped to Superlight with a glasspad.
r/FortniteCompetitive • I got a 12 side buttoned mouse for fortnite ->Funny timing for this post as I am having a crisis lol. My gaming mouse I haven't used in years is a Logitech g602. I now daily a mx master 3 at home and at work. Even though it's not meant for gaming I use it for that cause it's the mouse I like. Well decided to pull out my g602 to see if it's better for the finals and I can't fi d the dongle. I look online for a new one. They don't make this thing anymore! Or even the g604. Its a fantastic mouse and now I'm quite upset about it lol. But thankfully I found my dongle so I can at least use the one I own. But I'm still in disbelief they don't make this thing anymore or anything similar to it.
r/thefinals • So which rodent is guiding your crosshair today? ->I use a 6 side button mouse. My bind were stairs, floor, wall, map, inventory.
r/FortniteCompetitive • I got a 12 side buttoned mouse for fortnite ->Reads in LG 604 the world's last 6 side button mouse. Which I love.
r/FortniteCompetitive • I got a 12 side buttoned mouse for fortnite ->so real, I have the same mouse as yours and bought it for smooth brain reasons I bought a backup before it discontinued
r/wow • I need a new MMO mouse. ->Best mouse ever made. I can't believe they haven't made a successor.
r/wow • I need a new MMO mouse. ->Seems really odd to me.. There are many other MMO mice on the market that are selling fine, and the 6 side button mice are great for all games - Not just MMOs. I keybind those buttons in all my games. There is clearly still some demand there, since the G602/4 are selling for like $250 if you can find them on eBay. Maybe one day they will revive the G600 line :(
r/wow • I need a new MMO mouse. ->For $250+... Edit: Clarification - I was referring to G602/4 not G600. G600 is $90 on eBay, G602/604 is $250+
r/wow • I need a new MMO mouse. ->Sorry - I was referring to the other mice in this line that were discussed in other comments (G602/604). They are $250-$350 on eBay. The standard G600 is $90 on eBay.
r/wow • I need a new MMO mouse. ->The G602/G604 were the best mice ever made and it blows my mind that Logitech has not released a successor.
r/wow • I need a new MMO mouse. ->Man I completely understand what you are looking for and I am still trying to find something as well. I have been using the Logitech G602 & G604 for years. Unfortunately, Logitech has discontinued both of these mice (both had 6 side buttons) and has not provided an alternative. Hoping I can find something in the recommendations on this post because I just had to throw out my last G604 yesterday because the rubber had all fallen off.
r/wow • I need a new MMO mouse. ->The Logitech G602 / G604 have (unfortunately) been discontinued and Logitech has no other mouse with the similar format (6 side buttons).
r/wow • I need a new MMO mouse. ->They are a little cheaper, but they are still extremely expensive on eBay compared to buying a high end mouse that's in production. A brand new G604 is $250+ and buying a pre-owned/used one is a bad idea because the switches could be bad. I was looking last night because my last G604 had to be thrown out yesterday :(
r/wow • I need a new MMO mouse. ->Logitech g502 or lightspeed. I wouldnt go with razer as i went through like 5 deathadders, and all of them developed a double click problem (i play alot of games that require alot of clicking). Had the logitech lightspeed for some time now and its been solid.
r/BuyItForLife • Looking for a sturdy long lasting gaming mouse ->I had a Logitech mouse with their light speed wireless, and it would regularly drop out and had quite short range at that. Granted, my wireless keyboard I still use at work because it’s not had the same issues.
r/LinusTechTips • Need new wireless gaming mouse ->I have the Hyperspeed. Lighter, especially with a lithium battery. Enjoy!
r/LogitechG • When will a G600 Lightspeed be available? ->I'm jealous of people that can use a mouse with all the side buttons. My thumb is pretty much numb from nerve damage that never healed right so I can't feel any of the buttons. I use the Logitech hero instead so I get the two buttons on the top for my interrupts, the big side button for my placeable spell, and the other two with my self heals. I wish they had an ambidextrous version of the hero with the buttons mirrored on both sides so I could use them and feel them.
r/wow • Best mouse ever? ->I've got a logitech hero, it seems fine but I really don't like it. Ergonomically it's fine, no issues with holding it, just button xonfig and positioning is a bit off, keep switching dpi macros by accident mid game.
r/DotA2 • What gaming mouse do you currently use? ->I love the Logitech hero. It’s been with me for so long!
r/videogames • What's the best gaming mouse options? ->Logitech hero is my daily driver at home. Brought my G602 into the office, perk is they supply my batteries now. XD
r/ffxiv • Looking for an MMO mouse replacement ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
