Both a proteus core AND a spectrum, both failed with multi click on the left click just outside of a year.
Same reason I switched from Razer to logitech before that (In 2009 with a G9x now THAT was a cool mouse.)
Decided to give them another shot with a lightly used G502x wireless because it was too good of a deal to pass up, been great so far and I missed the shape. Like riding a bike hahah
I think endgame is never final, there are new mice, our hands always change, its a constant Odysee.
But for now on my mat i have Zaopin Z2 mini and Mchose L7 Pro
I have sure a 3 decade long nightmare left behind me, i was always fingertip, but in the 1990 and early 2000s we had mostly only bricks, so i did fingertip at times with 300 gramm mice, it got better with logitech g9x i used naked with no shell, g303 after and RVM these two i used alot years, until last year i read more mousereview reddit and tripped over all the asian fingertip mice, my wallet is very small or else i would sure love to try the x2f one day or other pure fingertip mice.
(to note im already 50+ of age)
The Logitech g9x is the best mouse ever. Even after many upgrades, I still have it saved in it's original box to this day. Can't get rid of this awesome relic.
Brother had a G902 (or G903), and i had a G703. Both started the double click within the year. I still have my old g5 and g9x somewhere, and those were great mice. But i can't buy another logitech mouse. I can't spend the better part of $100 and just expect to throw that product away so fast. I will eventually solder some new switches in my g703. I ironically, i have a G305, too, and that thing has been great.
