"Logitech is a different story -it always amazed me how long GPX2 can stay up, sometimes even a month at 1k polling and way over a week in 4k. That’s impressive."
"I often get atleast 2 weeks of charge out of mine, with about 5-9 hours use a day."
"The battery life is really what sets Logitech from the clones. ... for whatever reason they can't replicate the battery life"

"It ’s crazy light so I can flick and aim without fighting any drag"
"the HERO 25K sensor never skips on my flicks"
"Wireless for me (Logitech G Pro X Superlight) ... wireless is just straight up better if you have a decent mouse ... Latency doesn't really exist even on my older 1000htz mouse"

"The GPX2 weighs in at a pretty light 60 grams ... when you’ve experienced the weight of 60 grams of the GPX2, you start to notice the extra heft right away."
"for my hand: superlight"

"The same skates... I can see that both are using some poor, thin skates, coming in at just 0.6 mm thick. They’re not rounded around the edges either. They both should step up their game in that department."

"The same slippery coating made it hard to maintain any consistent grip or control — it felt like I was constantly fumbling with the thing. ... The original coating on GPX was just slippery to me, and Logitech dropped the ball there. I don’t usually have issues with grip — my hands are strong enough, and I typically don’t struggle with gaming mice — but the coating on GPX frustrated me. It made gripping it a real challenge, and that’s one of the main reasons I couldn’t perform well with it."
The battery life is really what sets Logitech from the clones. The clones copied the form factor, can have better switches and sensors but for whatever reason they can't replicate the battery life
I love this mouse. Yeah it’s expensive but it feels great and the battery life is incredible.
for a high end mouse - you can't go wrong with a Logitech PRO X Superlight 2: [https://pcpartpicker.com/product/QzHqqs/logitech-pro-x-superlight-2-wirelesswired-optical-mouse-910-006628](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/QzHqqs/logitech-pro-x-superlight-2-wirelesswired-optical-mouse-910-006628) or the cheaper last-gen version: [https://pcpartpicker.com/product/yY4BD3/logitech-g-pro-x-superlight-wireless-optical-mouse-910-005878](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/yY4BD3/logitech-g-pro-x-superlight-wireless-optical-mouse-910-005878) for a high end keyboard - i'm going to assume you want hall effect for optimal performance, in which case I'd suggest NuPhy: [https://nuphy.com/collections/he-keyboards](https://nuphy.com/collections/he-keyboards) Or the keychron k2 HE: [https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-k2-he-wireless-magnetic-switch-keyboard](https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-k2-he-wireless-magnetic-switch-keyboard) Both are head to head with Wooting when it comes to performance but with a better out of the box sound and being cheaper, even with customization. if you want more suggestions I can provide them!
funny got my g502 x plus today coming from the g pro lightspeed 2, and i like the g502 so much more
Mchose K7 ultra love it more then my logitech superlight 2 and it comes with a 2 in 1 charging dock with 8k
As an ambidextrous person, the "Logitech G Pro 2 Lightspeed" is also one of the first alternatives that comes to mind, I'd say it's perfect for me since, like you've said, it has two thumb buttons on each side, but it also allows you to "disable" either pair. Although, the fact it's a light mouse is almost irrelevant to me as I dislike mice being that light, I do even place some clay inside in order to make it heavier: my arms and hands are not weak and I don't suffer any disability in order to need a lighter mouse. Lastly, it has a perfect size and perfect symmetrical shape so I can use it with either my left or right hands.
The G Pro Wireless has the same shape as the Superlight but has 2 extra side buttons for left handed users. So if you don’t need those side buttons you can look into Superlight clones. Incott G23 V2, ATK A9 Pro/Ultra, and MChose A7 are all good choices. Now if you need side buttons on both sides, there are barely any mouse on the market with that. G Pro 2 Lightspeed is the revamped G Pro Wireless so it has those buttons. There’s also the Pulsar X2A, but that’s a very different shape.
I've heard only really good stuff about the Hitscan Hyperlight all over this reddit. I recently had a G703 die on me, and was considering the Superlight, but ended up going with a G Pro 2 Lightspeed because I found the G Pro Superlight TOO light for my own liking... my G Pro 2 is light enough for me. If you wish to compare more on the Logi mice... doesn't have sidebuttons on both sides though. best options for sidebuttons on both sides would probably be Pulsar x2a (comes in wired and wireless) or Logitech G Pro Lightspeed 2 (not the superlight, this one has buttons on both sides but weighs about 80g) i can't think of any other ambi mice with buttons on both sides off the top of my head though.
G Pro 2 Lightspeed is not an option for you?
Yes, as far as I know, you can use four side buttons simultaneously. But it's unlikely to be comfortable. I'm right-handed and haven't tried using all 4 buttons, but who knows, everyone is different)) That is, if you absolutely need it, you can probably get used to it if you want. Overall, it's essentially the same as the G Pro X Superlight 2, which is a top tier gaming mouse used by professionals. The only difference is that Pro 2 Lightspeed has RGB G logo and weighs 80 grams instead of 60, but offers full functionality for left-handed users. And as a bonus, you get two extra side buttons if you find a way to press them comfortably. As a Pro 2 Lightspeed owner, I can say I'm very happy with it.
To be honest, it was the shape and the weight. Although I use the MAD R more, the Deathadder still gets used if I'm just chilling, playing a chill game like the Sims, or if I feel like using it instead. The first mouse I had was by PickTech or some other Amazon slop that was mostly just for schoolwork with my Chromebook. The second mouse I had was the Deathadder V2, which I got refurbished from Amazon for $22. At the time, I hadn't had much experience with how I liked to hold my mouse with a more gaming oriented mouse outside of using them at the store sometimes. I loved the mouse and have used it for a while with it still working to this day. It is, however, well-loved as it has some glossy spots and flat rubber where there used to be ridges from my grip rubbing against it. I then switched to the Deathadder V3 because I was having arm pain flicking around the V2's heavier weight on Fortnite due to all the building. I got the mouse for $35 at my Best Buy and loved everything about the V2 so I figured I'd capitalize on the deal. At some point, I had a Rapoo VT7, which was a Viper V3 Pro inspired shape, but didn't quite like it due to the left side where the all the side buttons curved inward too much for my thumb. I ended up returning it to Amazon because the mouse just couldn't get comfortable and came slightly worn for some reason. I then went back to Best Buy and tried a Logitech G Pro 2 Lightspeed for the GPX shape and found the mouse to be just a little too boring. It sounds crazy, but it just didn't feel like it was a good fit for my hand. I returned it within a couple days and tried some more shapes at the Best Buy. At the Best Buy, I tried the Steelseries mice in my hand and loved the Rival 3 shape. Something about it just felt right and I loved how the front tapered in slightly. Despite loving it, there was no 60g-or-less variant of it and I didn't want another mouse that was heavy. After some digging around the internet, I came across the ATK-VXE-VGN MAD R and compared the shape across Eloshapes and found it to be almost exactly what I wanted. When it arrived, it was exactly what I wanted and is currently my final mouse.
