Your demand shall be satisfied. The theme of my collection is twelve side buttons and only one mouse per brand. Corsair Scimitar - the flashy Lambo: I bought it as „refurbished“ in 2017. As a car guy I love the design. I have rather large hands and it fits me perfectly. 17 buttons total. The sidebuttons are adjustable in position. It has five different RGB zones. The cable is pretty stiff (they released a wireless version about a year ago). The scroll wheel is the second worst of them all. The scroll is inconsistent and rattly but other models of Corsair mice have this problem as well. The rubber coating got disgusting after a while so I sanded it down. I had to replace the middle mouse switch a while back. Other that it has been great and my daily driver at home. Razer Naga V2 Hyperspeed - the best overall: My daily driver at work. 19 buttons total. It has a great scroll wheel with consistent, noticeable clicks, freewheeling, side scrolling. It runs on AA-battery which I really like and has a dongle storage space. The build quality is good and it has no coating which makes it easy to clean. I also like the two extra buttons on the left. At home I find the button and scroll wheel are a bit too loud but at work it’s fine. It also works via bluetooth, without the software including all buttons (except self recorded macros and delete key for some reason). Roccat Nyth - the stealth fighter: It has been discontinued for like 5 years and is really hard to get. 18 buttons total. It looks great. I just recently got it and it might tie the Corsair in looks and ergonomics. You can change the buttons and button layout: fewer buttons, different layouts, different shapes. You can also change the right finger rest which really changes the looks and feel. I have the wide one installed. It also has a rubber coating which is hard to clean. I opened it once and the build quality is really good and it’s over engineered, which I love. It even has a switch for easy ejection of the side buttons. The buttons have a good feel and are easily distinguishable because they are staggered like on a staircase. It has no side scrolling and fewer buttons overall though. In place of side scrolling it has a “shark fin” which you can flick left or right. For that you have to lift your fingers from the main buttons though. The grey stealthy look with the tasteful RGB and the modularity are the highlights. Logitech G600 - the tank: 20 buttons total. Discontinued, hard to get for less then 80€. I luckily got mine for about 30 in mint condition. Heaviest of them all: 131g. It feels planted and dense. Great ergonomics. Third button next to the right click. It has side scrolling and the wheel is almost silent. The build quality is good but it’s also rubber coated which still feels great though. I‘m trying two swap it for a white one. Steel Series Aerox 9 - the lightweight convertible: It’s the lightest with about 93g. 18 buttons total. It has two design flaws: The mouse skates aren’t spread out wide enough so it tends to tip to one side (I fixed it with additional skates). It’s open which makes it hard to clean but thats also it’s whole thing. The sidebuttons are to hard to press. It’s wireless and has bluetooth which is great. I like the silent scroll wheel. Redragon M990 - all the buttons: It has 16!! sidebuttons and 4 behind the scroll wheel. 24 buttons total. Those last two behind the wheel kinda get in the way. The RGB is tacky. Ergonomics and the scroll wheel are decent. MadCatz MMOTE - the crazy one: Well it’s eccentric. 19 buttons total. You can adjust the palm rest which is cool. It’s red and has some tacky decals. With my hans it tends to tip to the back. Worst ergonomics of them all. Worst build quality. No RGB. And the scroll wheel doesn’t work which seems to be a theme among used ones. HAVIT HV-MS735 - nothing special: 19 buttons total. It’s pretty long which fits my hands well but the pinky and ring finger have no real place to go and end up squished together. The buttons are ok, the scroll wheel is ok. I‘m missing the Titanwolf System, Rytaki R6 and the Turtlebeach Grip Arena. The last two I‘ll probably never optain because they are super rare.

Actually the Naga V2 Hyperspeed is my favorite overall. It’s the most usable and I use it daily at work. Maybe try the wireless Corsair Scimitar? I wouldn’t recommend the Steelseries Aerox 9 it has some major design flaws (keys are to hard to press, and the glide pads aren’t spaced apart wide enough so it tends to tip to one side). Maybe try a wireless Redragon? If you don’t care about wireless, I would recommend to try to get a Logitech G600.

I just got the G600 and I have to say I can understand why so many love it. I really like it. Make it wireless and a little bit lighter and I may agree with you. But have you tried the Roccat Nyth it might be my favourite keypad of them all. Nice clicky buttons, not too loud, And they are staggerd in a „staircase“ so you unlikely to miss click. I agree the Aerox 9 is probably the worst. It’s way to hard to press, you tend to move the mouse when you press it. And the keypad is concave so I also tend to slide to the middle. Also the glide pads are not spaced out enough: it tends to tip one side. I had to put in additional glide pads.

You can adjust the palm rest. So it can even shorter than that. But I have large hands, that doesn’t fit me.

Yeah the scroll wheel doesn’t work and I wanted to repair it but man the ergonomics and and haptics are bad, lol. But it has nice gimmicks.

Screw, the mad catz mice are all bolted together, which means modularity but also weight at the same time, super cool for making a mouse truly universal though!
