Ah yes you was how I was then! I had the mad catz rat3 and it lasted me until december 2021 when I got the DWS. Difference is I never had a problem with the rat3 and now in 3.5 years the DWS is broke because of shoddy craftsmanship of the new company :(
r/MouseReview • FCC Leak: Mad Catz MMO 7+ Internal & Externals ->Bro that shit crawled out of a NY sewer it was so bad. Heavy as hell, “muh ergonomic’s” it was over engineered and not helpful, and it suffers from rubber reversion. It looked cool tho, PC mag wrote that article on it and made it sell like crazy until people realized it was awful.

r/MouseReview • I feel like every single mice is too small ->An Ironclaw is probably your best bet, but the finish tends to wear excessively fast and some issues with scroll wheels have been reported. I'm in a similar boat. I have a g502 Lightspeed, and while I am fine with the thumb button placements, I find my pinky and ring finger feel too cramped. The only mice I've ever used that felt spacious enough were the R.A.T. series. The R.A.T. 3 was the first (and best) of the series I owned. Bought it well over 20 years ago. My brother uses it on his rig this very day. I eventually got a R.A.T. 9, but the sensor was awful, frequent disconnects, etc. A few years later they were bought up and the new series released (even numbers instead of odd). I got a R.A.T 6 and a R.A.T. 8. They were both awful and suffered from the side buttons failing after 3-6 months. Ergonomically, they were great, but their QC sucked ass and killed the company. There are also vertical mice, or perhaps an Elecom trackball mouse. Those are fucking huge. Elecom is sort of iffy. Really everything is.
r/MouseReview • This is the best mouse for large(r) hands? FML, what should I get instead? ->Anecdotally, the only decent R.A.T. I ever owned is a R.A.T. 3. My brother is still using it to this day some 15 years later. Anything after that in the R.A.T. lineup has been an abysmal waste of money. I upgraded to a R.A.T.9 at some point, and the sensor was absolute ass. Then upgraded to a R.A.T.8, and the side buttons/switched started breaking after 3 months. I'll never touch a R.A.T./Madcatz product again. Since then I've stuck mostly with a G502 LightSpeed. It's not perfect, but I have now had it for about 5 years without any major issues. Did have to do a battery swap after a couple years. IDK If an ironclaw would suit this guy, and I am loathe to recommend anything Corsair that isn't a PSU, but ottomh, that's the largest mouse I can think of.
r/MouseReview • In need of a mouse that fits big/long hands. ->Hey guys, I haven’t tested many mice. My current mouse is the Ninjutsu Sora V1, and I play a claw/palm grip. My previous mice were the Logitech G Pro Superlight 2, the Razer Viper Ultimate, and long long time ago the Mad Catz R.A.T. 3 😂 My hand size: Length: 18.5 cm Width: 10 cm Personally, I hate the G Pro Superlight. It feels slippery because my hands sweat a lot, and the shape just isn’t for me. The Viper was better, but still not perfect. With my Ninjutsu Sora V1, I kinda like the shape and really like the texture. But I think it’s a bit small for my hand, and it started to squeak after long-term use. I’m not looking for the exact same shape, and I’m open to trying different grips. The most important things for me are: lightweight, good texture, solid build quality, and satisfying clicks. Now I need your suggestions!
r/MouseReview • Mouse recommendations? ->Yes mad catz and rat 3 was the best mouse I’ve every owned back in the day
r/MouseReview • I feel like every single mice is too small ->It was heavy as hell and built like a tank
r/MouseReview • I feel like every single mice is too small ->Was looking for R.A.T.! My preferred mouse. I haven't had one for a while, the RAT 3 was my first one and that lasted a long time, when that finally died, I got a 7 which did not last long and the 8 lasted a bit longer and still functions but a side button broke. Currently using a Corsair Dark Core with the thumb and pinky rests. it's not as wide as I would likebut decent,

r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming mice on Reddit ->The MadCatz RAT series. Beware it makes it hard to switch back to any other mouse. I’ve used them for 12ish years and I can’t switch. I’ve tried multiple times, but I always go back. People apparently don’t like them, but I love them. Over 12 years I’ve only had to buy 4.
