R.A.T DWS and the GameSir GK-300 with attached blue switches.
RAT DWS, but a bit heavier than you want, but it's sick!
Hey! for the office you want productivity and comfort, both are achieved with MMO 7+ or RAT DWS. Both have swappable and adjustable parts which will make finding a more comfortable position much easier for you, and having the ability to adjust it later (after you buy a mouse- rather than guessing before you buy) is a huge advantage. For 14 buttons and BT, go RAT DWS, for 21 x 2 =42 programmable inputs and an innovative 5D button go for the MMO 7+ just out this year. GLHF!
Consider the MMO 7+ or RAT DWS if you want button power, I played Apex for 5000 + hours (Valk Main) and having extra buttons > lighter in my opinion. I was destroying with that 5D button. Anyway, up to u. Especially Apex, more abilities more quickly can make the difference between victory and a rage quit :)
Come to the Mad Catz FAM, we're only about comfort, adjustable, ergonomics. No need to buy and regret with 'one size only mice' , but and adjust if you get DWS or MMO 7+ - I'll find some coupons from black Friday - let's talk if you want., DM me if u want. (ps. my day off here, but saw those massive hands and want to help u get something comfortable... no more pinkie and ring finger dragging on the pad) GLHF!
hey you can check for R.A.T Series of Mad Catz. R.A.T 6+, R.A.T. DWS and R.A.T. 8+ adv. if you cna go little up in your budget then the latest M.M.O. 7 also is great choice. These mouse are feature loaded, for long term daily use and good in both gaming and normal PC use. I have used R.A.T DWS before, so i can tell that it worth a try. you can DM me is you need more help.
Honestly from what you described (20x10.5cm hands, relaxed claw, liking the EC1 / DAV2 shape), I think you're still on the right track looking for larger ergo micebut I’d also throw in a bit of a wildcard: Mad Catz mice, especially their newer RAT lineup. Something like the RAT 8+ or RAT DWS can actually work surprisingly well for bigger hands because they’re highly adjustable (palm rest length, thumb support, even width to some extent). That means you can dial it closer to that “fills your hand” feeling you got from the DeathAdder V2 or EC1, instead of being stuck adapting to a fixed shell. A few reasons it might fit your situation: You’re getting cramps on smaller / ambi shapes → RAT mice let you extend the body, which helps reduce finger curl strain in claw You liked ergo but had durability issues (rubber coating) → Mad Catz uses more hard shell / modular parts, so less of that indent problem Relaxed claw → the adjustable palm support actually works well for hybrid grips That said, it’s definitely a love-it-or-hate-it shape, so not as “safe” as EC-style mice.
Hey, AliExpress mice (Skyrox, ATK, mchose…) can look great on paper, but reliability can be hit or miss. If you want something safer with a similar lightweight wireless feel, you could check out Mad Catz for example the R.A.T. DWS (wireless + versatile) or the R.A.T. 8+ ADV, which is very lightweight and adjustable. For the mousepad, instead of going for a cheap glass one (often disappointing), I’d really recommend the GLIDE series from Mad Catz (GLIDE 19 or 38). You get a fast glide close to glass, but with way more control, less noise, and better durability. Honestly a much better value
Honestly if you like the Model D shape but just want something a bit wider + wireless, you might wanna look at Mad Catz stuff they’re kinda underrated these days. Their whole R.A.T. lineup is super customizable (like way more than Logitech/Razer), so you can actually adjust the width with different pinky rests / palm supports. The \[Mad Catz R.A.T. DWS Wireless Gaming Mouse\]() is probably the closest to what you’re describing: wireless, chunky feel, and built for FPS. It’s got a 16K sensor + 1ms wireless mode so performance-wise it keeps up just fine in shooters. The big selling point vs what you said: \- shape is adjustable , so you can make it wider than your Model D \- doesn’t have that “generic gamer mouse” look you don’t like \- software is simpler than Logitech imo (less bloated, more niche) Only thing: the design is VERY “Mad Catz” (love it or hate it 😅) If you’re open to something different from the usual Razer/Logitech meta, it’s definitely worth a look.
For games like Grim Dawn and D2R, I’d honestly recommend checking out the MAD CATZ R.A.T. DWS. It’s really comfortable for palm grip, especially if you have medium to large hands, and the adjustable palm rest helps a lot for longer grinding sessions. The thumb support is also nice for ARPGs since you end up spending hours clicking and moving around constantly. It’s definitely not one of those super lightweight esports mice, but if your priorities are comfort, durability, and long-session use, I think it fits really well for games like Diablo and Grim Dawn.
125 Hz on the MX Master gets a bit too much hate tbh it’s not ideal for gaming, but for light/casual stuff it’s still usable. If you want something a bit more versatile, you could check out Mad Catz, like the R.A.T. DWS. It does both Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz, so you can stay on Bluetooth for school and just switch to the dongle when you wanna game for way better responsiveness. In general Bluetooth is always a bit less smooth than 2.4 GHz anyway, regardless of the mouse. So yeah: * school/work → Bluetooth * gaming → dongle Pretty nice middle ground
The MadCatz RAT series. Beware it makes it hard to switch back to any other mouse. I’ve used them for 12ish years and I can’t switch. I’ve tried multiple times, but I always go back. People apparently don’t like them, but I love them. Over 12 years I’ve only had to buy 4.
I love these mice, been using them for the past 10 or 15 years, had to replace them a few times due to the wheel/center click giving out, but never going back.
Logitech G502 or Madcatz RAT. I also have big hands. Those are my go to mice
Buy a madcatz rat mouse, they are adjustable
