Based on 1 year's data from Feb 15, 2026 How it works
Just bought an MCHOSE A7X Ultra to complement my G502 X Plus. Have enjoyed all my time with the G502 and love the shape, it's great for comfort and productivity (shoutout to the infinite scroll wheel and programmable wheel tilt buttons), most games, and the battery life is good with the RGB turned off. It's responsive and sturdy with good quality button switches, and I like that they have the magnetic dummy to swap out for the "sniper" (DPI shift) button, as I never found that particular feature useful. So why did I get another mouse? The G502 is just so dang *heavy* compared to most modern gaming mice. That weight is sometimes nice in slower paced games, but the A7X is about half the weight, and just feels so much more nimble and less tiring in games like The Finals, ARC Raiders, etc. I also feel like the shape might be a bit uncomfortable or at least require some adjustment with palm grip, but I'd love to hear an update on that. It solves one of my only minor gripes with the G502 besides weight, which is that my claw grip over time wears away the soft rubber on the lower right side of the mouse (this is my second G502 after the Proteus, and it's already showing wear in the same spot after about a year).
I actually just got an A7X Ultra as well. Ordered mine on January 14th from AliExpress (YEEMIX Brand Store), and received it January 22nd in BC, Canada. Paid $130 CAD all-in after using a coupon. (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005010560833347.html)
Recently got an MCHOSE A7X Ultra and the build is rock solid, but I can't speak for longevity. As long as you treat the mice well, I imagine the biggest thing you'll see wear on is the skates, but those are easily replaceable.
mchose A7(X) Ultra, ATK A9 Ultra/pro are safe recommendations
A7X Ultra because it‘s magnesium and has 0 pretravel and the clicks feel great. If that‘s too expensive (use vouchers) then I‘d get the ATK A9 Ultra
the stock skates on this one are good. You can buy ultraglide full size skates that fit or just use normal dot skates. Just the Artisan P8 are too big
Mchose a7x ultra. Magnesium shell, light weight, very good battery life, the best sensor you could have in a mouse currently. It’s only 100 dollars and it comes with a case, in case you want to bring it to a lan or gaming cafe.
Those actually might be a bit big. Unless you know you want that shape I would consider smaller. Of those two I would probably take the Mchose due to the Viper scroll wheel issues. But something like an Mchose A5 or the L7 ultra+ might serve you better.
If he has small or medium hands I pretty much wouldn't consider anything outside the Mchose L7 series. Large hands is tougher. Mchose A7X and K7 are good options under $100. (The A7X is pushing it though) But ATK has a pretty decent sale right now, and the A9 air is a great deal. And the RAWM Leviathan v4 is also an amazing mouse, though on the pricier side.
Lots of good large mice, symmetrical or otherwise. Ones I recommend: Mchose A7 (including the A7X and A7 RE) and K7 ATK A9, X1, and Z1 Teevolution Terra pro RAWM Leviathan v4 And if you have truly gigantic hands, the Darmoshark M9.
Both ATK and Mchose make great mice. If you can get the Omron optical version the A7 is the best option imo. But that's getting rarer unless you get the A7X (which is really nice, it has holes, but isn't cheese grater size, maybe take a look at it and see). And without them I think it's a wash between it and the two ATK mice you listed.
The shape looks pretty good but the back curve goes just a bit lower than I prefer vs the actual superlight. The superlight is too heavy for me, but I do love the Viper V3 Pro - but that also is missing a little height at the back of the curve. I want a good sub 50g superlight clone, but the ATK A9Air claims to be sub 50, but a reviewer who loved it weighed it and it was 52.something. No thanks. I'd rather get the A7X Ultra from MChose if I wanted a 53g superlight clone - love the feel of magnesium mice.
I have an mchose a7x ultra and i'm really happy with it.
I got a MCHOSE A7X Ultra a few months ago and love it. This thing holds a charge @ 2K polling for like 3 days 12+ hour usage. For me I don't see myself picking anything else in the near future. I've got pretty large hands too and this has been one of the few mouse I've tried that actually felt comfortable regardless of how I hold it.
MCHOSE A7X Ultra. Magnesium. 53g. Cheap. Superlight shape. Best click and nice wheel.
1. Razer DAv3 Pro 2. Mchose A7 V2 Ultra, I still have it, just prefer the DeathAdder shape and I got the DAv3 Pro for less than half the price of new with the 8K HyperPolling dongle included. 3. I already mentioned I like the shape, would be even better if it was the same weight with the V2 shape. Only thing I could bring up as a negative is probably the constantly running proprietary software.
MChose A7 Ultra V2 can't go wrong
