I don't know but I kept seeing comments that there are better mouse out there in the same price range. I can get the G309 at 40 USD I am also considering the VXE R1 Mad R and Scyrox V6 at the similar price range, but I fear they won't be as comfortable. I currently have the Mchose G3 SE and the shape is the most comfortable I had. I also had mouse with tall humps and I found them a bit uncomfortable(but still usable! Just doesn't feel as good). I prefer egg shapes so far. Mchose G3 should be my top pick, but only if it had optical switches it would be a no brainer due to no double clicks. My recent mice are always getting double clicks after a year. I have large hands like 19hx10width and I am using a fingertip and claw hybrid. I saw the Logitech G309 at 40 USD and it has optical switch w/ good shape, I started to get interested. However, mixed reviews are making me think twice getting this product and maybe getting a different mouse would be a smarter choice. I don't do competitive gaming, so the differences between sensor or polling rates don't do much to me. Being at optical switch, battery life, coating, comfort matters more. I only play casual AAA titles, so I don't know if I should choose a higher-rated mouse with better price-to-performance for the money or spend a bit more for a comfortable mouse with worse specs. TLDR: If G309 == bad, are there similarly comfortable egg shaped mice that use optical switches?

for 2K exactly, you should consider the mchose G3 on meckeys. It's a copy of the logitech g304 but with better internals and a much required weight reduction. They also provide free shipping on all domestic orders and I've heard good things about their after sales support 👍🏻

I've got pretty small hands so it fits quite well, But I've now found out i prefer back placed humps more than flat shapes. I've not encountered any issues with connectivity like most people online have mentioned. Like a modern mouse, there's nothing lacking and the shape is king so only get it if you want a small and flat mouse. The coating feels a bit below compared to my g304, And the buttons don't feel as spam-able after some time of using it. Included grip tape and cable is buns sadly. Battery life seems good, I charge it about once a week with about 5 hours of use, give or take, per day. Personally, for ~4K inr I'm not that happy with it, Since something like a VXE R1 Pro or even a royal kludge M30 would suffice for casually playing competitive FPS games.

Mchose g3 clones the 305 which you already know suits your hand. Could be an option

I've been playing CS for a long time and realized that my spray control is done with my fingers, mostly my thumb acting like a lever. On the R1 Pro Max, that's impossible because of its 120mm length. My first serious-ish gaming mouse was the Logitech G100s. Then the G305 with an AA battery – didn't get along with the weight balance. Then the Mchose G3A (sensor garbage and bad balance). Then the Glorious Forge Series One Pro Genos – not bad, climbed to 2215 Elo. Now I'm back on the G305 with a AAA mod, it's fine, but it feels outdated for serious play and a bit heavy. I want something with a proper center of gravity and lighter weight. I'm 182cm tall, around 100kg. I'll measure my hand later, don't have a ruler at home right now. I don't get how people play with low sens and control spray with their forearm and whole arm. That's complete nonsense and masochism. With that style, you're completely immobile – it's like driving with a bus steering wheel. My DPI 1000 and sens 1.72, 6 of 10 windows sens. On g100s my sens was the same, but 800 dpi. And I'm using acceleration. I'm tryed without - bullshit spray, like with r1 pro max now.

If you're considering this get an mchose g3. I own both and the g3 is essentially an upgraded better version of this mouse. Own both and g3 > g305.
