My L7 (non +) is arriving today, I've been maining the mad r for a couple of months now, its fucking amazing. I will let you know how the L7 holds up, as soon as ive had time trying it.
Im a big fan of the Mad R, but I have to admit the L7 Ultra feels higher quality. It might be due to it being the 500 mAh version (I ordered the 250 mAh version, but you cant ever be sure what youll get from AliExpress), which is 45g compared to my Mad Rs 39g, so it just feels more solid, being smaller and heavier, but its definitely well build. I personally barely notice the weight difference while playing btw, imo anything below 50g is light enough. That being said, the clicks feel similarly light, the L7 is a bit more silent on M1 and M2 but the thumb buttons feel a little more hollow compared to the Mad R. Even though i prefer small mice, for my hands (20 cm length) the L7 is slightly to small to claw-grip comfortably, so im probably going back to the Mad R for now which seems to be close to the perfect size for me, but for the price and if you prefer small mice/have smaller hands id probably go for the L7. I've also been considering getting the L7+ aswell, but its honestly a bit to similar to the Mad R in terms of shape to justify it. Another small thing, that might not matter to most is, the stock skates on the L7 felt a lot worse than on the Mad R, I immediately swapped them out for Tiger Ice V2 dots. Plus point for the little cut outs next to the skates, which made them extremly easy to remove. At least with the dots I had to put the LOD to 2mm, otherwise the sensor would cut out sometimes, this doesnt bother me at all, but might be an issue for some, idk. This also might not happen on the stock skates, not sure. All in all the L7 is incredible for the price, ive only played a little of kovaaks and overwatch yesterday, but im pretty certain I play just aswell, if not better on it compared to the Mad R but ive noticed my hand getting tired much quicker due to the smaller size. Like I've said, for the price (the L7 being about 10-15$ dollars cheaper were I am) I'd definitely recommend it over the Mad R, just get the Plus version if you think the normal one might be to small. I still think the Mad R is awesome aswell though and the weight difference, especially compared to the L7 Ultra+, might still make it the prefered choice for a lot of people, with everything else being so similar.
VXE R1 or Mchose M7 are great for tac fps imo.
Your grip style and hand size make a huge impact on recommendations. I have 6.5inch hands roughly, and a full palm grip and I had a lot of issues replacing my previous generation glorious model d. That mouse gave me no hand pain and it took several purchases to find ones I like. Shape is king for me and always will be. I like the razer deathadder hyperspeed, and mchose A7 ultra. These two really feel great in my hand and aren't too big like many mice are for me. I tried pulsar x3 crazylight, logitech dex 2 superlight, mchose m7, keychron m3 mini and m7, steelseries aerox 3 gen 2, logitech g705 All the above gave me hand pain except A7 ultra and DeathAdder hyperspeed. Hope this helps and you find something you like.
scyrox v8, mchose m7 series etc
Between Mchose and ATK? I would say it's a wash. Mchose MCU and coating is a bit better, ATK paid more attention to detail in the shape of the mouse, and given neither use Omron opticals anymore, has better switches.
Your hand size falls just into large or the very border of medium-large Scryrox v6/v8, mchose L7 are too small for you. You cannot go wrong with vxe r1 pro, but if your budget is till 6k you can get a better mouse. A gpx2 or a vv3 will be good for you, so I would suggest the ATK a9 series, mchose A7/A7v2 series ( both gpx clones ) or Atk x1 series, Mchose K7 series( vv3 clone ). Mchose M7 fill fit you, its a zowie-U2 shape but im not sure how good it is. The above 2 are very safe shapes. I would suggest atk a9 air if you can get it. NPMC, Xtrogg, Loadout, all 3 are reliable. Also use your mouse on 1k polling because 8k is not reccd for your pc according to the specs. and the difference b/w paw 3395 and 3950 is very negligible so again it won't really matter. Just make sure the mouse has a good shape suited for your hand size and grip, it has a coating. If you are really worried about future proofing, try to get a mouse with optical switches instead of mechanical ones. This is because mechanicals are much more likely to develop a double click issue. people on r/MouseReview heavily suggest omron opticals specifically, which is because they are the best sounding, feeling and reliable ones but I would say any opticals are fine. However, this does not mean mechanicals are bad, since some people even prefer them over opticals. Don't stress on this too much, focus more on the mouse shape but if you are able to get opticals over mechanicals I would suggest so. All mice like these are sub 60 grams so don't stress on the weight factor either. For eg) The vxe r1 pro has huano ( which are mechanicals ) and the mchose A7v2 has omron mechanicals.
do not go for razer/logitech at this budget. Some people prefer mchose/atk clones over the originals so don't worry about quality much. Optical switches > Mechanical switches ( general consensus, some people feel otherwise ) Yes the mchose A7v2 does have omron mechanicals, which is why I've seen people on r/MouseReview say they preffered the A7 ( which only had omron opticals in white colour ) . Even in the K7 ultra, only some colours have the omron opticals ( the coolest one, the iron red does not have it ). Atk's own opticals are not bad, some people say they are not as good as omron opticals ( In feel, not technological/future proof wise ) but they are still more future proof/better than mechanicals ( generally ). Waiting for preorders is something that inevitable when buying chinese clones of big companies in India, as the vendors have to order a certain min. number of items ( MOQ or minimum order quantity ) which requires a lot of payment upfront, so don't worry too much about preorder or in-stock since if you are spending get the best possible option which you see fit. k7 ultra ( specifically the omron optical version, which is only there in regular white and regular black, not even the white with gold side buttons ) is a bit pricy, but afaik it comes with a wireless charger that also serves as a 8k dongle and a weird carry bag, its sort of gimmicky. But the mouse itself is a v good clone of razer vv3 pro. VV3 pro is slightly bigger in shape than gpx2, and your hand fits both, so I can't really say which one is better for you. I suggest you go to [eloshapes.com](http://eloshapes.com), compare Razer viper v3 pro and the logitech G pro X superlight 2, and see for yourself ( maybe even see Zowie-U2 for the mchose M7 or atk U2 series, i dont like it much but you might ) ALSO like i said, dont even otherthink that much on the switch, mechanical switches are by no means bad. The double click issue is specifically persistent in Kailh switches, avoid them but any other mechanical switch like huano or omron is not bad. It's just that the technology of opticals gives you a more peace of mind because the odds of double clicking are drastically reduced. Good shape, coating, any sensor equal to or better than paw 3395, atleast 1k polling, a coating on the mouse should be your concern, but the mice have advanced so much that you will find these in any mice above 4k INR. So it all narrows down to your pref shape :). If you have any more questions, feel free to shoot a dm
Id recommend a wireless mouse from mchose or atk i have an mchose g7 but the a7, M7 and L7 are very good pretty much the same performance as a Logitech or razer but for a fraction of the price
Don't recommend the model O, or any mouse with holes in it. A lot of grease and dust gets in the gaps. And very annoying to clean. I use the MCHOSE M7. The build feels a bit cheap and the program a bit faulty (can't get the left click to double click for some reason). But the mouse is comfortable, the battery life is good, and all the other fancy features (8K polling, low latency, dpi range is good). I am happy with the mouse, but would like it to left click double click. You can look into some other not mainstream brands and you can find better ones (and cheaper).
