oh boy do i have the answers for you! As a fellow ambi gamer who used a viper for the exact purposes you did, i've spent FOREVER looking for a suitable replacement. The Pulsar X2A v3 is the one to get (if available in your region), otherwise the wired model works just as well (if you dont mind being limited to 1K Polling). Do note that the medium size for pulsar is slightly smaller, and you lose the more ergonomic shape of the viper for an egg shape with no heel.
TLDR: Pulsar X2A v3(99$ USD) or X2A Wired(50$ USD).
If you play claw, expect to shift your grip slightly more forward on the mouse with your clicks landing closer to the front to make up for the lack of palm real estate in the back.

Im using currently the X2A in medium size, and if compare the dimensions, the X3 mini is slightly bigger
Pulsar x2/x2h mini or x2 medium if you are okay with light clicks. Op1 is also good and in comparison to pulsar mice is longer and narrower and has heavier clicks.
So I claw and fingertip hybrid and I went from a gp super light 1 to a pulsar x2 crazy light medium. They have different humps but I honestly can’t feel the shape difference that much. 20g lighter though, I do feel. So it’s strange to me to think there’s this much optimization going on. But maybe it’s just my grip style
