If you want same shape, low weight and better click latency, look at Pulsar xlite crazylight medium. If you want the zowie experience but with lower latency, 60 g and a very slightly smaller and different shape, look at the vaxee E1
The biggest difference is the shape, and its personal preference so i cant tell you which is best for you. I personally got the xlite crazylight medium because its almost a ec2 clone og the shape, which i like a lot and it comes with lower weight and better click latency. My copy has 0 issues. My picks from best to worst: xlite crazylight, ec2, e1, NP-01S Ergo, dav4
Nope 0 issues on my xlite crazylight medium.
Maya X has the viper hump with the gpx width. Pretty nice shape that I prefer to both and the buttons, scroll wheel and side buttons are all top tier. When it comes to shape though nothing beats the pulsar xlite crazylight medium for me. It fits my claw grip in a way the Ec2 and ambi mice just don't. It's like an Ec2 with a more aggressive hump and a completely flat right side that makes the mouse a little wider and gives you so much room for your pink and ring fingers.
Xlite crazylight medium. Primary reason: shape. It fits my claw grip so perfectly there's basically no room for improvement. Maya X is close in that it's also a center hump with medium grip width, but going back to a non tilted grip on an ambi mouse just feels so bad now. Xlite V3 has better side buttons and scrollwheel, but i prefer the crazylight because it has better skate design and most importantly: better main clicks. It's also a little heavier but at 55g that's still so light it's irrelevant to me thay the crazylight is 7 grams lighter. Pulsar really needs to get to implementing the nordic 54L though. The battery life on all of their mice is just atrocious.
If you like the gpx and ec2, you will not like the rest of zowies mice. All small and excessively narrow for some reason, do not feel like they are made for average western male adult hands. My recommendation is the Pulsar Xlite V3 or Crazylight medium. Avoid the v4 since it has terrible clicks, but to me the shape differences pulsar made to the ec2 to create the xlite, are just straight up improvements if you claw grip.
Razer Deathadder V3 Pro (no need to get the V4) or Pulsar Xlite Crazylight Medium is going to be the most comfortable in my experience. For something less expensive and also surprisingly comfortable check the Logitech G305.
in terms of something thats not smaller in size (unless you want that of course) your best bet is probably the pulsar xlite crazylight medium size. i actually prefer the smaller size despite my hand size but i think im probably the exception to the rule.
I have to say i'm slightly disappointed by this, with the regular skates it's 9g lighter than the normal size1/mini Xlite V4 with the same skates... not particularly crazily lighter and i'm guessing some of that weight reduction is simply by putting a smaller battery in? The X2 crazylight was 14g lighter than it's regular size1/mini counterpart. When Pulsar put out a teaser video in may of the Xlite crazylight it had it on a scale weighing in at 39.9g but now on release its a few grams heavier. I guess the switches are better than the V4 so that's nice, would have also been nice though if they gave as many colour options as the X2cl. Seems worth picking up if you didn't have a mini Xlite and want one but possibly a pass if you already own a mini XV4.
other than the good suggestions so far such as the xlite crazylight, ec3-dw, lamzu maya and logitech superlight 2c i will throw hitscan hyperlight and lamzu paro aurora (early batches were not as good, my later batched reject edition is excellent) into the mix.
the zowie ec-dw mice are excellent, one of my favourite ergo mice (ec2-dw matte and gloss for me). if there is a con its that the click latency is higher than most modern releases but it's still small enough that i'm not sure it would be noticeable by most people. personally i cant notice it. the only other thing that could possibly be considered a con, which is more preference based than anything, is that the sensor position, like on a lot or ergos, is relatively low which means that it tracking can feel slower than higher positioned sensors but its really a preference thing rather than one actually being better than the other but because you cant adjust the dpi settings outside of what zowie allows on the mouse itself you cant increase your dpi slightly higher to compensate if you did feel the tracking was slower than you liked. the pulsar xlite mice are great but the xs-1 sensor/firmware they use on their latest releases have a noticeable dpi downshift on dpi settings of around 1600 and above. for reference to dpi downshift see this video: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hq9AxbF8a9g](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hq9AxbF8a9g) the logitech dex was too big for me otherwise i would have loved it despite some possible cons to some such as not the best skates out the box (easy fix), not the most responsive side buttons compared to some others (to me they are perfectly usable but yeah, they are not the best but i dont think the worst either as some say) and some people find the logitech superlight mice using their opticals to have clicks that are too heavy for them (newer batches are lighter than the first batch gpx2 mice and even those lighten up with use). the big plus for me with logitech mice is the hero 2 sensor, to me its the best sensor out there even compared to the other high end mice i have that use 3950 sensors with good implementation such as the vaxee e1 as well as others i either own or have used. it feels just so snappy and responsive.
I honestly wouldn’t, lower profile kinda feels weird for palm. If your hands are smaller, I would recommend an ergo like the Xlite Crazylight Medium or a middle hump symm (my favorite shape for a symm palm is the Vaxee XE)
If you have small hand and want an ergo I think the xlite crazy light is a good option. https://youtu.be/RVllxf-VIMg?si=zphwuwxQmj72V_bU https://imgur.com/a/lbDV6IP
