Have you seen the Rapoo VT0PRO? The only downside compared to the MX Master is that it doesn't have a magnetic scroll wheel.

Yes, it's a great mouse. 8k pooling rate, one of the best sensors on market and similar design to MX Master 3. You can considering it if you like two scroll wheels.

TLDR; Compared to the MX Master is better in every way, except it doesn't have a magnetic scroll wheel. I am really impressed by this mouse. The sensor is very good and smooth. There is no problem with the wireless connection and the pooling rate is insane. I set it to a conservative 1000Hz out of 8000Hz because my display is running at 60Hz and I don't play games. Shape is very close to the MX Master 3. It's a bit lower when compared, but still comfortable. The only thing that took me a day to get used to it is the left side where the thumb is resting in. Looks like the angle is too narrow. But I got used already and it doesn't bother me anymore. The horizontal scroll wheel is great. At first I thought the placement is odd and too upwards, but it's nice and it's easy accessible. If using it in a more relaxed manner, I can scroll more if I move the thumb to the right on the top of the mouse. If I continue the move to the right on the top of the mouse, there is a sharp edge that's not feeling good with my 1-3-1 claw grip. 1-2-2 grippers might not feel it so intense. Compared to MX Master, the horizontal scroll is reversed. On MacOS this can be easily changed with LinearMouse app. The vertical scroll wheel is made of metal and when moved it feels good, very similar to the one on the Basilisk V3 X Hyperspeed. It has the option to buy a wireless charging adaptor which I find awesome! And speaking of awesome things, the USB wireless adapter has an LED light on it. At first I thought that it's on every time the mouse is connected. But it changes color from time to time because it's showing the level of the battery. For days I had it green and then it changed to yellow and I was like, wth is going on? Then I realized it might show the level of the battery. When I charge it, it pulses. Best battery monitor ever; no driver needed, not switching apps to see the level of charge. I suspect the top LED on the mouse might also show when battery is low, but never been there so far. Like the MX Master 3 it looks like it's wrapped in a rubber piece, but feels harder and not that grippy as the one on the MX. Hopefully will not get bad as it does on the Logitech. If you can't live without the magnetic scroll wheel of the MX Master, then this mouse is not for you. Well, also no other mouse without a magnetic scroll wheel. There is no driver for MacOS, but you can set it on another Windows machine and forget it. The mouse has internal memory and after the settings are saved, you don't need to use it anymore. I prefer this way as I can use it on all OSes without any driver, especially on Linux. From now on, this is my choice of use for a mouse with horizontal scroll wheel that can be used for everything. Of course MX Master 3 has a more refined shape and the magnetic wheel is gorgeous, but VT0PRO is lighter, glides smoother, is more precise and has a better pooling rate. I don't use the Logitech driver because I don't need the buttons configured for each application, but I can see why you would like to stay on the Logitech side for this. Or you can try some alternatives programs like AutoHotKey for Windows. You think you have better alternatives? Trust Ozaa+ The Ozaa+ has a very good sensor, 250Hz pooling rate and all the buttons and wheels are silent. For me the shape is not great, but might be ok for 1-2-2 grippers. From my little time using it, it looks like it doesn't sleep, so it's discharging kind of fast and the power button is too stiff and need a lot of force to move it. Maybe it's just my unit. KeyChron M6 OMG! Really? How the hell could I have bought this? Oh, I know, they make great keyboards. But this was designed by a small hand 1-2-2 gripper that was probably deaf or maybe it was bribed by Logitech to fluck things up. Tellur Shade wireless mouse This one looks like the real deal. They improved the design of MX Master 3 by making the thumb button really easy to use. Also it's nicer for 1-3-1 grippers as I can rest my middle finger on the space between the buttons, not on the buttons like on MX Master. But the real bad thing is the sensor. The old red LED technology from 20 years ago with a 125 Hz pooling rate really makes it feel inaccurate. Might work good for you if you move slow on the desktop, but not really slow as the sensor might not pick up the really slow moves. It feels much heavier than the MX Master because it's inaccurate. I need to constantly adjust the movements to reach where I want. Make yourself a favor and save your money or better buy VT0PRO or Ozaa+. If this is not enough bad info for you, take this: firmware bug when connected by wire - lateral buttons do not work, but you get 1000Hz. You thought it was free? No, it will cost you two side buttons. But maybe you just want to charge it with a charging cable that only has power, not data. Well, the mouse will disconnect, trying to switch to the wire, but will not find it. This takes a few seconds of crazy mouse not knowing what to do. Oh, and when you wake it up from sleep, let's say by pressing a button, it will also register that button click. Just saying, no big deal. Basilisk V3 X Hyperspeed I like the way the materials feel in my hand, the sensor is very good and the extra thumb button works well for horizontal scroll (in combination with the scroll wheel). But I don't like the shape and can't get used to it. Probably this is because my 1-3-1 claw grip. Should have bought the Deathadder, but that does not have an extra button on the side. And price per button, the Basilisk was cheaper. I always thought that MX Master is too expensive, but now that I see the picture I realize that a new MX Master 3 would have costed me less. First I bought the M6 and then the Basilisk, but these two are already the price of a MX Master 3. The MX Master 3 in the picture is bought used very cheap so that I can experience it. I promised to myself many years ago that I would never buy another (new) Logitech product, because my then new Cordless Natural Keyboard had no drivers for Windows XP and the support told me to just buy the newly released same keyboard but with Laser in the name. Do you know, Logitech how expensive was that for me and you crushed me with your profit driven response. Oh God, now you know why I am on this channel. I have a mouse problem like everyone else. If I can help you with any other info, let me know in the thread. https://preview.redd.it/oc2k5eh3zxfe1.jpg?width=4624&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c0cb94405426efafc579d91d788a33b5ea5f5b3b

=FINAL THOUGHTS= Whew that was a yap sesh there but theres zero info on the VT0 PRO online from actual users rather than just Rapoo marketing materials, so I thought I'd share my experience. I think the only consumer video evidence that this mouse exists is from a German kid reviewing it while cranking 90s in Fortnite, he seemed to like it though lmao. \-PROS \> 105g is a bunch lighter than the 115g/135g with weights Corsair M65 I used to use (yes I seriously thought at one point using all the weights was a good idea and then wondered why I aim like a sloth through molasses) - if you're used to featherlight modern mice this might be much to you idk I think the weight is well balanced \> First impressions of the MX Master style shape is its very ergonomic and is nice and snug in my hand, all buttons and scroll wheels are easily accesible and being able to slide the mouse in all directions with a single thumb resting on the "wing" is comfy \> Solid feeling construction and high quality cable and reciever, well built product and the "V" emblem on the left click is a bit cleaner and professional looking than the "Rapoo" branding on the earlier MT760 variant of this mouse. Noticing both scroll wheels are made from metal, additional replacement skates and a charging cable comfy enough to use as a regular mouse cable - along with the QI charging option - inspires some hope the VT0 PRO will last me some time as a main mouse before being honorably delegated to Travel/Backup mouse if I find a better MX Master style option or just decide to upgrade to something else. \-CONS \> Somewhat inconsistent value increment changes when flicking the side scroll, as mentioned accuracy is far better when slowly clicking through with the side scroll. I'm currently using it as a volume encoder and it doesnt bother me too much as I can adjust loudness in a few well intentioned swipes. \> Lack of mouse Configuration Profile switching option to bind to a mouse button. I used to bind "switch profile" to the back button of my old M65 and had 3 seperate profiles running for media, gaming and productivity which I could swap on the fly, just through my mouse. Maybe this will be added in a driver update or maybe I'll just be more intentional choosing a profile in the driver software and plan out gaming/audio prodution/browsing sessions. Either way not a huge dealbreaker considering the relative hardware quality. \[PERSONAL CONFIG\] \- Roller Right: Volume up \- Roller Left: Volume down \- Back: Play/Pause \> Self explanatory media controls, when I'm too lazy to lean forward and hit "K" to pause a youtube vid or use a fn button combo to change volume on my compact keyboard. \- Forward: Shift \> Oddly enough I'm not finding too much horizontal scrolling needs during my browsing so far, so having a handy shift nearby to shift + scroll side to side when I need to is nice, plus shift is crouch/descent in Minecraft so hell yeah. I leave the side scroll wheel bound to default roller right/left on my FL Studio config profile as DAWs tend to need more horizontal panning than doomscrolling reddit. \- DPI Cycle: Alt+Tab \> Bro I can switch between the current 10 hour video essay I'm currently ignoring and the week old .FLP beat I'm ignoring in one button click how cool is that?? =========== TL;DR this one seems worth the £60 I bought it for at Curry's (UK exclusive VT0 Pro dealer?? Idk what's the deal with that) maybe check it out if you're into comfy MX Master style mice but also dabble in gaming

lmao I \*just\* wrote a comment which turned into an impromptu review on this thread before noticing your comment - I haven't personally tried the MX Master range but I was looking into the 3S for a while before noticing the polling rate issues, very conveniently hard to find that info besides dedicated mouse community posts ngl.. :\^) TBF, I'm not an experienced gamer or computer mouse enthusiast but I'm digging the VT0 Pro so far, though thats coming from a decrepit Corsair M65 with a broken middle click, back and forward buttons. Like my mini-review mentioned the VT0 comes bundled with a nice flexy braided usb C and adapter so it \*encourages\* hot-swapping USB dongles between devices. This one weighs 105g so thats a bit lighter than say the 145g of the Logi MX Master 2S, but not so light it feels flimsy, idk its a good fit for me. Yeah the lack of free-scroll is a bummer if you're dead set on it but hopefully there will be a cool gamer trend of freescroll being added to more mice as sensor upgrades reach diminishing returns and brands need selling points. If you have the option of buying and potentially returning for anywhere near the £60 I paid for mine, I'd say give it a go - maybe it'll be just a sidegrade to your MX, maybe you'll return it or who knows it might "click" with you (I'll see myself out-)

I just ordered one from Amazon's German site. Hopefully they ship it quicker than the month it says it will take. I had been eyeing one since last year and hoping it would become available in the US and finally decided that I really couldn't wait any longer with all the threats of tariffs being thrown about.

Well here's a minor update: They did ship it, so that is good. They shipped it via Maersk so I am guessing it is on a freighter, which is not so good. Should be here around the 21st.

Ok received the mouse. Actually the second mouse but the first to arrive. I got tired of waiting on the one shipped with Maersk, which was the only option displayed when I placed that order. For this one I opted for DHL since it wasn't much more ($10ish) and available to choose. I received the mouse I ordered second about five days later. Still waiting on the first one. Haven't had the chance to foist my child off on my wife and use it yet but it certainly feels pretty good in hand. The middle wheel is quieter probably works better than the Keychron M6 I have and the thumb wheel is much smoother. The thumb area is really nice fitting for me but the forward and back buttons are pretty close to my thumb, which could be great or could mean they get triggered by accident. Time will tell for that and if it is an issue hopefully I can just disable them via software (I have actually removed them physically in the past for causing issues). I do think that the thumb area will hold my thumb in place better than most designs I have tried. So there ya go. If you order totally do the DHL option or prepare to wait a long time for delivery. I think I am probably looking at another week or more until the first mouse arrives.

Have just gotten the chance to set up and use the mouse. It is great! It feels a lot nicer than the Keychron M6 and seems to work a bit better in general. The software is easy and works well. It is on the [rapoo.eu](http://rapoo.eu) site (I wasn't able to check [rapoo.com](http://rapoo.com) to see if it was there as well since the site was lagging horribly). It has been a long time since I have used a MXM3 so I can't compare how it stands up build wise to that. Obviously, the performance is off the charts compared to the MXM3. The software and package say that you can upgrade/update the chipset to run at 8k polling, but I am not going to bother as 4k is probably higher than I actually need. I am very pleased with this purchase, and I am looking forward to having the other one arrive someday.

not sure if you found out but in the meantime there's Rapoo VT0 Pro that has the MX Master 3 form factor but up to 8000mhz polling rate. I Own the VT0 Mini and is really nice :D.

Uuuu. I bought Roppo VT0PRo as its Chinese gaming version of mx3s with exactly same dimensions and shape. But it got its problems… How is that Razer in comparison to mx3s dimensions? Smaller? Bigger? Is angle comparable? I had problems with my tennis elbow so I switched to non horizontal mouse.
