They are slow, but that real estate is huge so aftermarket skates feel amazing. I've got Unusual Way magic ice on my vt3 and 7. They have full sets. Make sure they are for gen 2!
ZPW is pretty much even with magic ice stock. I haven't touched them even with a full set ready.
Try a Rapoo vt3 gen 2 while they are cheap! Maybe try one of their other shapes that look interesting while you're at it. Vt7 definitely has palm filling potential as well with its ergo-lite design.
I recommend an ergo. Rapoo vt3 gen 2 or maybe Deathadder V3. Something along those lines. The main issue you will have is getting used to mice that are a normal width. Naga is extremely wide.
just updated firmware, using it 1-2k with motion sync, i think without motion sync you better use corded sensor mode, and 1-4k, also changed debounce time and sleep time to 5m, at 1ms press and 2ms release i have no double click or slam clicks on basic version, on max version i use 0 and 1ms respectively
skates are ok, but if you wish to replace i think best options would be unusual way sport magic ice for cloth and ultraglide silent for glass
I feel like the ~~VT1~~ VT0, or VT3s (smaller version of the VT7 and VT3) should be enough for OP. I have 17x9 cm hands and my VT0 Max Master (same size range) is about the right size.
Edit: messed up a bit, the VT1 is actually a smaller version of the VT2.
I wouldnt count out ergos, ec2 related shapes. I have a similar grip but larger hands and have been maining a rapoo vt3 gen 2(ec1 shape) since the fall. Check out the vt3s gen2, but there are some solid options/shapes like the Thorn that is getting a v2 soon

Any of the Rapoo gen 2 mice for the insane battery life imo, whichever shape suits. Shape is king, no use in a super strike if he likes ergo shapes for example
Rapoo VT3 Gen 2. Cheap and sold on Amazon in a few countries. Long battery life (500h). Two extra middle buttons. Not too heavy (53+4g). Can go for the Max version with optical switches.
Other Deathadder shape mouse are like ATK Z1 and RAWM ER21 Pro. But the Xlite V3 Large when discounted can be cheaper than those.
Also in the hunt for palm-able ergo. I am waiting for my VT3S gen 2 (same shape as Pro Max) after liking the VT3 gen 2. The latter is a bit bulky for my small hands while being the most comfortable.
Here are a few alternatives you can also try:
- EC2 clones: The long tail doesn't work for me. Many to choose from if it does for you.
- G703: even bulkier. I tried the X3 mini which has flat buttons and is smaller. It gives you a lot more way more control like an ambi but it's not comfortable for me.
- DEX: I only tried the 3D printed model shape. It feels grippier due to the narrow waist. I would try this next if VT3S is not working out for me.
- OUTSET AX: also worth a shot as it's similar to VT3 with a narrower waist but a higher hump. It feels more controllable in my hands.
You have my hand size and I also settled on the vt3s. I don’t have it yet but do have the vt3. It’s a tad too bulky. Comfortable but hard to aim with mostly a palm grip.
I tried DAV3 HS. It’s too small for my hand with no comfortable way to claw it. I don’t know why since it should be perfect on paper.
