Rapoo VT3 MAX Gen-2, I have 21x10 hands and it fits comfortably.
my rapoo vt3 max gen 2 showed up the other day, may be my endgame ergo. 19.5x9.5 hands with a relaxed claw grip. Mchose is a good choice, Zaopin zpw worth a look, and incott g24 if hot swappable mechanical switches is your vibe
rapoo vt3s max gen2
I have the larger vt3 and the skates are very smooth but not the fastest. Have had many mice and I like the rapoo a lot, the battery life being the main attraction but zero complaints. Build quality and switch implementation is great. My one gripe is the lack of LED customization for the mouse or dock, but other than that the app and button/mode customization is vast
Ergos on the bigger side imo. 19.5x9.5 relaxed claw, had an xm1r but there wasnt enough room for my ring and pinky fingers; tried similar shapes with taller fronts and no clamshell button design but ultimately most ergos are more comfy. While the differences visually can be more subtle, there are big differences in feel between ergos that are even clones of another. Been maining a Rapoo vt3 max gen 2 for a bit and have been liking it a lot
I wouldnt count out ergos, ec2 related shapes. I have a similar grip but larger hands and have been maining a rapoo vt3 gen 2(ec1 shape) since the fall. Check out the vt3s gen2, but there are some solid options/shapes like the Thorn that is getting a v2 soon

The gen 2 Rapoo mice are really good around that price
Any of the Rapoo gen 2 mice for the insane battery life imo, whichever shape suits. Shape is king, no use in a super strike if he likes ergo shapes for example
19x9 cm hands / relaxed claw here If the price tag on the GPX is too steep (because it is for what you get), check out the Rapoo VT2 and 9 Max Gen 2 models. Both are slight variations on the GPX shape and are solid quality for 1/3 the price. The VT0 Max Gen 2 is similar to that sora/L7+ shape, but with a less aggro claw shape, I prefer it to the L7 Ultra+ or Hitscan. It's completely out of left field, but you might also check out the Mchose M7. Modern take on an old Zowie shape that fits nicely for relaxed claw.

[Rapoo VT3 Max (Gen2)](https://www.eloshapes.com/mouse/compare?p=glorious-model-d-wireless-vs.-rapoo-vt3-max-gen-2) is a solid Model D alternative. Similar size and shape, but the differences are improvements imo.
They also managed to get the best implementation of a Raesha optical switch that I've used. (The others being Pulsar and Razer)
I'll second this recommendation, although my experience is with the slightly larger version, the VT3 Max Gen-2. Been using it for I dunno, at least a month, maybe more, and had zero issues. It's a lot of mouse for the money. I've also got their VT2 Max Gen-2 (GPX2 clone, basically), and it's been equally good. If I'm recalling correctly, the Max (their top variant) retails around $60 USD, and even at that price I'd consider it good value. That said, I think their website basically hands out a standard 10% discount if you give them an email address or something, and they ran a 20% discount for Halloween. That's when I picked up the VT3 Max Gen-2 for I think like $43 and change with shipping included, which I'd argue is exceptional value for what's on offer. Can't say how often they run sales like this, but maybe see one again around the end of the year? Who knows. All in all, I've been exclusively using first the VT2, and now the VT3, for multiple months total between them both and they've impressed the hell out of me. Assuming they hold up well over time I'd say they're a front runner, at least for me, in their price range, no question. Good luck, and hope you find what you're after when all's said and done.
Rapoo gen-2 stuff like rapoo vt3s Max gen-2 or vt7 max. 700+h at 1k polling
How about rapoo vt3 max (pro max is older version so you should be looking at max, or vt7 max if you don't want ergo shape), really long battery life, around 55g and optical switches, moreover it's cheap and has best modern sensor. As alternative i would advice rawm es21 pro, it's around 70$ with shipment
just updated firmware, using it 1-2k with motion sync, i think without motion sync you better use corded sensor mode, and 1-4k, also changed debounce time and sleep time to 5m, at 1ms press and 2ms release i have no double click or slam clicks on basic version, on max version i use 0 and 1ms respectively skates are ok, but if you wish to replace i think best options would be unusual way sport magic ice for cloth and ultraglide silent for glass
I have 5 gen-2 mice in collection no issues with any of them, bought officially from shop.rapoo.com, standard free shipping uses prepaid taxes, so no additional taxes, on sale with discount code for example vt1 max is 36$(i never paid more than 45$ from official shop for one gen-2 max (bought one without sale but with discount code that always work for new buyer), idk why people keep buying it from AliExpress where price is 1.5-2 more
