Mine broke after about a year of using it. Admittedly I am rough with my mice. But it would do things like randomly make me look down/up, not register inputs, and not allow me to look around while holding m4/m5

I don't get the hype. It was too small, too light, to flimsy, and the hyper scroll wheel felt really cheap and not accurate. Returned it for the Razer Basilisk and I'm very happy. Not Mx Master scroll wheel happy, but pleased with a gaming mouse with a good smart hyper scroll.

this goes for 99% of video games you cant go wrong with a g502 (or if you prefer razer, one of deathadder viper or basilisk will suit you)

Not a gamer, but I’m obsessed with ways to make my workday of staring at 8 massive screens as comfy as possible. I also have some hand coordination issues, and I type like a chimpanzee. So, for me the essentials are good ergonomics and lots of macros. Less concerned about the weight, I tend to grip harder than needed. To that end, I have several mice. Most used is the MX master 4, also have the 3 and the 2. When my hand cramps up from the shape I switch to the G604. I lose the side scroll wheel but I gain 6 side buttons for macros. I also have a couple of trackballs which I just can’t get into. Same with the vertical mice, they just feel weird in my hand. I also have a cheap Razer Basilisk for the rare occasion when i need a wired mouse, but I don’t really like the scroll on it.

It is crazy to me the cult like following this mouse continues to have, and I maimed this mouse for like 3 years from 2017-2020. The extra buttons are cool, but man there are so many better mice out there, that are so much lighter. If you want a wired mouse try the op18k it’s the best fps mouse in existence, probably. Lots of ergo mice out there, from death adder to zywoo to superlight to vaxee If you’re stuck on this shape you might try the basilisk But really you’ll just probably be happiest with another 502.
