Logitech has a massive amount of brainless fanboys. They have the same quality issue with garbage cheap omron mechanical microswitches as Razer (and any other brand) but yet they're almost immune to being criticized for it while Razer is being shit on all the time. What makes that even funnier is that Razer was faster to start using optical switches that solve that issue and yet people still shit on Razer and suck up to Logitech. I'm using Basilisk Ultimate with optical switches for 3.5 years for now with absolutely 0 issues. By far the longest I've ever used a single mouse. I've never in my life made it more than 1.5 years without developing double click issues on any mouse from any brand ever, until that. So basically for me optical switches are absolute must, I'm never buying a piece of shit without them again. The only thing that makes me want to change that Basilisk to anything else is Synapse, lol. And also recently I got to try using a lighter mouse so something more lightweight would be nice as well.
r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming mice on Reddit ->Been using a wireless basilisk v2 ultimate for like.. 5 years now without issue. Absolutely love mine and have had zero issues but it's almost time for a replacement due to the soft touch material on the thumb and finger pads wearing down to the plastic lol. For reference, there's atleast 10,000 hours usage on it.
r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming mice on Reddit ->Is logitech back to being good again? They got bought out by some company in China years ago, and ever since then, their mouse quality went to complete shit. They start double clicking in 3 months or less. After my Logitech mouse from like 2006 died after like 14ish years of use, I naturally thought, dang, this Logitech mouse lasted me so long, might as go ahead and buy a new one with the bells and whistles. Nope. Went through 3 of the top of the line ones at the time, can't remember the name. Every single one started double clicking, each one faster than the next, mainly because I started noticing it sooner probably, it was screwing up my work, not just my gaming. Got an alienware mouse, same thing. Complete garbage. Went to a discord for computer-mouse enthusiasts, explained to them what I wanted and how I was sick of the damn double clicking mice I've been going though. They all talked about how Logitech uses cheap parts that all double click and you have to open them up now and preplace some parts or something with good quality japanese versions. I wasn't about to do that. So they recommended "Razer Basilisk Ultimate". It was wireless, which is what I wanted for my new setup, had two side buttons which is exactly what I wanted as well. And most importantly, it's apparently impossible for it to double click. idk how or why, that's just what I was told. And this mouse has been going strong since...mid 2021. I've now learned to never recommend brands for things that have lasted me over 10 years. I have to check and see if the company was sold or not or if they dipped in quality. You never know. I have an LG monitor that's lasted since 2011. It was my first flat monitor and it still works. Before that, i was still rocking the giant grey 90's monitor, lol. Played so much Oblivion on that thing. And it was big too. I honestly don't know how I did that.
r/MMORPG • Gaming Mouse recommendations for MMOs? ->I’ve been using the Razer Basilisk Ultimate for years now with zero problems. It also has a 3rd mouse button which is useful to me in every game. Couldn’t recommended it enough. Would love to hear others thoughts on it
r/buildapc • What’s the best mouse money can buy? ->I suggest you go for Basilisk v3. Not sure whether you’ve previously owned a razer mouse, but I can assure you that their cables are designed in a way that most of the time you don’t even notice them. I picked up the wired version for 50 bucks on black friday. If the cable is too much of a problem for you, go for the pro version, however I highly doubt you’ll find any wireless razer mouse under $100. As for the basilisk, it has 11 programmable buttons, free spin mode for the scroll wheel and overall feels very good in my hand. Edit: The hyperspeed version is wireless and in your price range
r/razer • Best Razer mouse under 100$ ->The basilisk is my third razer mouse. The cable is braided and is super thin and flexible. Never had any issue with it despite my cables usually being tangled altogether behind my PC. Not sure about the battery life as I’ve never used a wireless mouse. A friend of mine has a cobra pro (Another razer wireless mouse) and says he charges it once a week approx. Battery life could be longer on the basilisk but you’ll have to google that.
r/razer • Best Razer mouse under 100$ ->Generally mice that are more open. The G502 and Basilisk thumb area is a bit cramped. I don't have thick fingers, but long ones and my thumbs are a bit wider at the tips than on most people. The EC1 shape is good for working because it's super relaxed. But I aim better with the FK1 XL shape, Viper and similar works great too - less comfortable though.
r/MouseReview • Why Logitech G502 is the best mouse ever made ->I had a Razer Basilisk and it ate my batteries like crazy (Maybe it was faulty but i didn't wanna bother with it anymore). I would like to have a good mouse that charges with USB C and isn't too bad in terms of input latency and tracking. Are there any options that are worth the money? I hope its okay to ask these questions here because i have no damn idea about the mouse space lol :D
r/MouseReview • Any good wireless gaming mice that charge with USB C? ->Odd, I had my razer mouse since I was gaming on my mom’s apple laptop in 2014 lol, it just now gave out beginning of this year, with the mouse click not working. Haven’t opened it up but it might still be an easy fix. Bought a razer basilisk last Black Friday anyway just in case, and it handles like a dream
r/csgo • What is the best gaming mouse for right hand with cable (not wireless) ->I've had two G502's, both started having unwanted double click issues after just a year of use. Switched to Razer Basilisk and it's now my favorite mouse after the Logitech MX518 which is no longer being manufactured.
r/buildapc • What are one of the best general purpose (mainly gaming) mouses? ->If working is the primary need with gaming on the side my recommendation would probably be the Razer Basilisk line. They have two wireless options. But it also depends by the type of games he plays and how many extra buttons he needs.
r/MouseReview • best mouse to get my bf ? ->I've had a razor basilisk for about 5 years and it's sound but I've never had a mouse break tbh
r/Alienware • Is there an Alienware Gaming Mouse that lasts? ->I use a Razer Basilisk. There is open source mouse software polychromatic(https://polychromatic.app/) that i use with the razer daemon to manage the mouse and all it's functions. The daemon and software are compatible with pretty much every razer mouse.
r/linux_gaming • Recommendation for a Wireless Gaming Mouse Compatible with Linux ->I got one because I was on a string of bad selections that did not work for me or just failed. I begrudgingly went back to Razer after having experienced build quality issues in the past, but I went with the Basilisk specifically for the optical switches. So far it has been okay. We'll see how long it holds up.
r/buildapc • What’s the best mouse money can buy? ->I've got a razer naga that I've used since like 2010 that's still going very strong. Wife bought me a basilisk recently but i think I'm going to return it for the new wireless naga. It feels so much better in my hand. The basilisk feels so narrow and after a while it tends to cramp my hand.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->You mean the "RAT" Series. Im still rocking these today! Got my first RAT 7 at 2011. Now, since 3 years i use "RAT 8" and i never want any other mice. Fits like a glove for me since 13 years. tried mutiple others like Razer Basilisk, Corsair Darkstar (for ridiculous 170€ lol) Corsair M65 and a G502. I wasnt happy with any of them. RAT on top. <3
r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming mice on Reddit ->Best MMO Mouse, Logitech g502. It doesn't have all the side buttons, just 3 side, and two top buttons next to the left click. It's fully programable, and you can make macros as well. After that Razer Basilisk, similar design to the g502, not as many buttons. The kicker is I use a Keypad controller in my left hand. currently a Razer Tartarus Pro. There is one I am really interested in getting though: # Azeron Cyro
r/MMORPG • MMO Mouse Recommendation ->Razer Basilisk is by far the most comfortable mouse for me, but after trying out some lightweight mice like viper or zaopin Z1 I just could not go back to the higher weight
r/MouseReview • Mouse like MX master 3 for gaming? ->I havent tried steelseries but razer is far away from trash. I also like mice and try different ones every now and then like the vaxee xe, gpx2, viper v2 pro, dav3, pulsar x2v2, and much more. I have had a razer basilisk for like what 5 years now? Maybe even more and it hasnt gave me one single problem. I have the death adder v2 mini for years and havent had a single problem. I main the viper v2 pro and its the most amazing mouse for me out of all the ones i tried and still have in my collection including the new gpx 2. If you have a problem with a mouse dont make it a general statement and push people away from it. Because just like you have a problem, many people have had none. That goes for almost all top brands.
r/counterstrike • any gaming mice under 35€ for counter-strike? ->As someone who uses a tartarus daily, I say go that route. I am biased though because I love my tartarus and have used it in place of a regular keyboard for gaming for the last 10+ years. If you go for the tartarus, a Razer Basilisk is a solid option for a 'cheap' gaming mouse. You can pick it up for like $40, has good tracking, clicks feel fine. Primary reason I recommend the Basilisk as the cheap mouse alongside the tartarus is that you're already going to be using Razer Synapse software, so might as well not also have to run Corsair's iCue or Logitech's software alongside it.
r/MMORPG • Which is better investment for MMO gaming on laptop; quality pro mouse or budget mouse /one-hand keyboard? ->I’ve had nothing but razer mice through the years. The only thing that seems to happen to them all (for me, knock on wood) is the grip on the side will come off at some point and just need to be crazy glued. No biggie. Other than that (for mice) I love them. Having had a death adder, mamba, and now basilisk I recommend the basilisk of you play a lot of deferent games like I do. It will perform more then well for competitive, but also have enough buttons to macro for action games. Being able to click the scroll button left and right is a big help. That said if you play a lot of strategy or mmo’s my brother loves the naga. Has like 15 buttons. Pretty sure they make a newer version
r/razer • Any recommendations, I need help choosing my razer mouse? ->Name me rich wow tryhard thats willing to have 2 seperate mouse for 2 seperate reason. Most people just chill with one mouse beside very few people like me I use basilisk for moba/mmo (obviously because theres m4m5m6)
r/MouseReview • Where have all the MMO-styled Mice Gone? ->There is a whole subreddit dedicated to mice enthusiasts r/mousereview but you will get all kinds of opinions on there. I went with the [Wirecutter’s](https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/best-wired-wireless-gaming-mouse/) top pick the Razer Basilisk and have been happy with it for the last 3 years.
r/buildmeapc • best gaming mouse right now? ->Been using the razer basilisk for about 6 years now and I don't see myself switching any time soon
r/MouseReview • Mouse Recommendation (For Larger Hands) ->Razer basilisk. Personally not a fan of too many buttons on the mouse
r/DotA2 • What gaming mouse do you currently use? ->Oh!!! I like all the buttons! I've got the Razer Basilisk that works well for shooters, but it's only got 2 thumb buttons. I feel like there's a tremendous amount of utility potential with that Venue Pro though!?
r/Guildwars2 • What is the best gaming mouse to play GW2 smoothly? ->I have tried 3 different razor mice over the years. Don't like them at all. I am a hardcore FPS gamer so this is my absolute most important tool for my gaming. Razor products just seem wildly overpriced for average at best performance, and shelf life. I had a terrible time with the basilisk. I'm here because last year I read some obscure blurb about a Roccat mouse. I really liked it but it's starting to fail already. Sigh... I have also had a plethora of Logitech products. I am not a big fan of Logitech either. However their mice seem far superior to razor. Just the quality of the material anc builds seem superior to razor. That being said. I am looking for something different from these to brands. If I don't find anything I'll start browsing the best logitech mouse out there. If anyone has other suggestions I would love to look at them.
r/MouseReview • Best Gaming Mouse for 2025? (Valorant, CS:GO) ->Surprised the basilisk isn’t there, insanely good mouse a a little bit of a premium price.
r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming mice on Reddit ->Easily can be both. Just like my basilisk is a great work mouse
r/MouseReview • Razer Pro Click V2 & V2 Vertical Edition ->I find the Razer Basilisk line to be pretty comfortable, though it's a bit heavy. You'd likely be well served by something lighter as well to move around with less effort. Pulsar Xlite, Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex and Razer Deathadder V3 are good choices.
r/MouseReview • Best ergonomic gaming mouse? ->I’ve been using a Logitech g900 chaos spectrum for about 9 years, only thing I changed is a magnetic charging port so all I have to do is retract a cable and magnetically swipe it on. It lasts for me about a week on the battery and has customizable buttons and plates. Used the basilisk as well for 6 months it just wasn’t it for me(and used plenty of other mice as well).
r/gamingpc • Good quality gaming mouse ->
