All the suggestions here are solid, but if you have larger hands like I do, some might not be the best fit. In that case, I’d recommend the Razer Basilisk V3 or the ASUS ROG Spatha X if you’re looking for a mouse with 6+ programmable buttons.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I actually used a vertical mouse prior to using my Basilisk v3, I tell you; I have way more kills and skillshots in Battlefield 1 using that vertical mouse over the Basilisk.
r/razer • Is Razer's New Mouse Practical or Even Good? ->I am using the Basillisk v3 for single player games, it's really good. You can also consider the vxe r1 if you are into esports titles.
r/Indiangamers • Which mouse is best for gaming among these? You can also recommend other mice that you know or use. ->Razer basilisk v3 is my go to
r/buildapc • What’s the best mouse money can buy? ->If you also play MMO and RTS or other games, having a 3rd side button helps A LOT, like for example I used the G402 for a while in games like Fortnite, because having a 3rd side button helps tons with the building, then lately moved to the Basilisk V3, and then to the G502X Wired because is lighter. Also if you going to do some office work, having dual mode scroll wheel is really good! Sadly there are still not any lightweight options under 70g with 3 side buttons from Razer or Logitech tho. For purely FPS games like Valorant, I'm using the Viper V3 Pro tho.
r/MouseReview • Logitech vs Razer in 2024? ->I was forced to adapt to vertical mice within the last few months due to numbness in my hand. Going vertical did help but the options left a lot to be desired. Started with the Logitech Lift, which was ok but the polling rate was way too low even for productivity use. Got a Keychron M5 recently which solves that problem, and is a more comfortable shape, but has quite cheap-feeling materials and a much worse scroll wheel than the Lift, and my previous non-vertical mouse, the Razer Basilisk V3. Razer's info page for the V2 Vertical doesn't mention what kind of scroll wheel it has. I guess it doesn't get the free-spin wheel of the non-vertical version? That would be a shame because it otherwise looks like the best option so far.
r/MouseReview • Razer Pro Click V2 & V2 Vertical Edition ->Razer Basilisk v3 (any of the like 6 versions), if you like the Basilisk shape. But pretty much every mouse now charges via USB-C. If you’re looking for a more fps-ish mouse shape, just reply and ask :)
r/MouseReview • Any good wireless gaming mice that charge with USB C? ->Basilisk v3, i play a lot of siege and it is my favorite mouse. Depends if he has big hands or not, basilisk is fantastic if you have big hands, small hands seam to prefer the viper, I had one and found it very uncomfortable. Appears to be 69.99 on razers website but it should be available elsewhere.
r/razer • Best affordable mice? Gift for boyfriend plz help lol ->Razer Basilisk v3 gang! It's so comfortable.
r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming mice on Reddit ->I got one because I was on a string of bad selections that did not work for me or just failed. I begrudgingly went back to Razer after having experienced build quality issues in the past, but I went with the Basilisk specifically for the optical switches. So far it has been okay. We'll see how long it holds up.
r/buildapc • What’s the best mouse money can buy? ->I feel your pain. Historically, I have had terrible luck with selecting a mouse. I had brand loyalty for Razer and had good luck with them back in the day, but I bought a very expensive model for $100+ only to have it fail during very light use for build quality issues (left mouse button cover plastic cracked). This was maybe a decade ago and since I have been on a carousel of trying all different brands of mice, only to end up disappointed. The ones I remember are Corsair Sabre, Logitech g502 Hero, and Steel Series Prime+. Invariably they all let me down, usually with the switches failing for either the left or right button in a short amount of time. Except for the Steel Series, which I bought because it had optical switches, but unfortunately the scroll wheel was horrendous. Right now, I am begrudgingly giving Razer another shot with a Basilisk v3 because it has optical switches as well. Will just have to see how long it holds up.
r/buildapc • What's the best mouse for $30 or less on Amazon? ->I've had G502s in the past, but wanted to try something that is similar in shape, so I got myself a Basilisk V3, works still fine until this day, honestly looks even nicer then the new G502x
r/razer • Any recommendations, I need help choosing my razer mouse? ->The razer basilisk v2 and v3 both have scroll wheel tilt I believe!
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->They both definitely have side buttons.. not as many as the naga perhaps, but they definitely have side buttons
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I'm using it and love it. It may be due to the Razer brand that I first bought it, but I like the button that allows you to slow your aiming down for those fine adjustments. And the button for unlocking the wheel is also very useful for certain things.
r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming mice on Reddit ->Do you necessarily need the extra buttons? I’ve always had side button mouses (Corsair, EVGA) and they all ended up shitting the bed, and I ended up never really needing the buttons as much as I thought. I bought a Razer Basilisk V3 (wired) because I’m cheap and honestly it’s been the most consistent mouse ive ever used. And consistent in the sense that so far I haven’t had any issues, which is literally all I ask for. Only complaint I have is the scroll wheel can’t be flicked too hard otherwise that mf scrolls to Infinity
r/buildapc • What are one of the best general purpose (mainly gaming) mouses? ->I have had a Razer Basilisk V3 for the longest time and it has not failed me in SC once.
r/starcitizen • Recommend mouse for SC? ->I used the Razor - Basilisk v3, and its been really nice, i use two side buttons because for me, i know my ass would hit anything else if there was more than two.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I highly recommend Razer Basilisk v3.. I just ordered my 2nd one (my reason for buying new isn't that it broke. The "feet" has been worn out after 3ish years of 8+ hours a day usage, and the side rubber texture grip has been worn all down) I know some people has posts about how the scroll wheel broke quite quickly. I never had any issues with the scroll wheel. Maybe I just jinxed myself now and the scroll wheel on my new mouse will die soon..
r/razer • Any recommendations, I need help choosing my razer mouse? ->Switching from Logitech to Razer because Logitech software is poorly designed. Hardware i never had an issue with G502 Hero, also the Razer Basilisk v3 looks like it has a better shape and is lighter.
r/MouseReview • Best Gaming Mouse for 2025? (Valorant, CS:GO) ->I was hoping to see Basilisk v3 on there and then remembered I'm not actually happy with it.
r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming mice on Reddit ->The Razer tax makes it too expensive for what it has to offer, but you can fix that with a good BF discount. The other thing, which might just be me, is that I don't like the scroll. Never really got fully used to it. Essentialy has two modes - tactile and free spin. Free spin is too fast and not precise enough for gaming and work, while the tactile is pretty loud. An inbetween option would be great. Also, the button to switch modes is less responsive now. All in all, not a bad mouse. But you can probably do better.
r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming mice on Reddit ->Razer Basilisk v3 for me. Tried out a bunch of mice and this one felt the best in my hand, and I had a couple of other needs as well. •Thumbrest •Rubber “tire” scroll wheel. •Side scroll wheel I have one at home and one at work, and also carry a G502 Hero in my backpack when I travel for work.
r/rhino • Gaming mouse for drafting ->I used it for a while and liked it fine. It holds up competitively. I think it's a great mouse. The program is easy enough to use too m. I never had any issues with it. Funny enough, it works better than razer synapse 4 does. I honestly really liked the rapid click button too. It holds up pretty well single player and competitive, as well as just playing anything. My only complaint is that I don't find it as comfortable as other, more expensive gaming mice to hold. I just recently switched from the M612 to a Razer Basilisk V3 and I like that one a hell of a lot more, so I'd say if you can, get the 26k DPI V3. It's worth the price tag. If not, the M612 will be fine. Sorry to revive a dead thread, and I'm sure this is irrelevant now. Bottom line, just go with whatever you want for that price point. The M612 is a great mouse for the price, but obviously not as nice as the higher end ones.
r/MouseReview • Is the reddragon m612 predator good? ->I use a razor Basillisk v3 mouse. It comfortable and ergonomic, has 3 side buttons. Has RGB and razor software. Wireless and lightweight. Still very responsive. And only costed me 60 bucks Canadian
r/buildapc • What are one of the best general purpose (mainly gaming) mouses? ->I had first iteration for years and it worked perfectly fine. Now i have V3 and it's working just fine. Of Course main problems are with rubber grips, but thats pretty normal for rubber to wear off.
r/gamingpc • Good quality gaming mouse ->Had 2 of them, 502 regular and 502 hero in about 8 years. But the wheel lock bottom broke in both of them, (after some years) recently switched to Razer Basilisk V3 and I am very happy. However its a bit lighter and cannot place the extra weights.
r/logitech • What is your experience like with the G502 X Wired Gaming Mouse? ->Didnt try ... But after 10 years with logitech (keyboard g512 aswell) wanted a change and had the razer aswell kets see how its going
r/logitech • What is your experience like with the G502 X Wired Gaming Mouse? ->I have a Razer Basilisk V3 and I love it. Best mouse I've ever owned, and they're $40 on Amazon right now as long as you don't mind a cord (the cord is braided and extremely light, basically unnoticeable when in use)
r/buildapc • What are one of the best general purpose (mainly gaming) mouses? ->I have the same mouse and I love my. I had been using the Logitech G502 for the longest time, but I kept having the switch in the left mouse button fail. The basilisk is the same size and button layout and lighter.
r/starcitizen • Recommend mouse for SC? ->I suggest you go for Basilisk v3. Not sure whether you’ve previously owned a razer mouse, but I can assure you that their cables are designed in a way that most of the time you don’t even notice them. I picked up the wired version for 50 bucks on black friday. If the cable is too much of a problem for you, go for the pro version, however I highly doubt you’ll find any wireless razer mouse under $100. As for the basilisk, it has 11 programmable buttons, free spin mode for the scroll wheel and overall feels very good in my hand. Edit: The hyperspeed version is wireless and in your price range
r/razer • Best Razer mouse under 100$ ->The basilisk is my third razer mouse. The cable is braided and is super thin and flexible. Never had any issue with it despite my cables usually being tangled altogether behind my PC. Not sure about the battery life as I’ve never used a wireless mouse. A friend of mine has a cobra pro (Another razer wireless mouse) and says he charges it once a week approx. Battery life could be longer on the basilisk but you’ll have to google that.
r/razer • Best Razer mouse under 100$ ->Don't trust this list. I had the following mice Logitech 502 - Heavy, outdated Naga/Scimitar - Only useful if you want the extra buttons, wireless vesions mucho expensive Deathadder essential - Bought 2 of them since they were only 20 euro on sale, both mouse wheels stopped working and started scrolling randomly Razer Deathadder V3 Pro - Has creaking issue on the left side of the mouse and problems with coating - issues fixed in the wired version that came later Basilisk V3 - Heavy but just a bit better than the 502 MX Master 3 - SUPER HEAVY, more of a work mouse than gaming I finally settled on a Deathadder 3 wired with a bungee, quite satisfied. I would recommend it, the Hyper x Pulsfire haste 2, or some of the new mice that came out that aren't "tried and tested", as counter - intuative as that sounds.
r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming mice on Reddit ->You can adjust most settings in the Basilisk V3 through signalrgb, much more lightweight than synapse. Doesn't work for keyboards, though.
r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming mice on Reddit ->But do other brands offer the whole experience? Like for example, Razer can offer an entire lighting setup coordination. Also, what about Chroma? My gaming daily driver is a Basilisk V3, but I just bought a Rapoo MT760 for work. I've used it for one day, and the mouse is insanely good. It's extremely well built, it feels nice and it suits me. My only issue with it is the software. Being a work mouse, it's not a big deal. But if I were to use it for gaming, the software isn't as good as Synapse.
r/MouseReview • chinese mice changed my perspective on gaming mice as a whole ->if you are going this far, spend a lil more and get basilisk v3
r/mkindia • Help me choose a gaming mouse ->Thanks! We didn't include the G502 in this list as it's mainly made for FPS users, but had we included it, we would've rated the Basilisk V3 higher as it's overall better. However, the G502 definitely has its fair share of supporters and it's not a bad option!
r/MouseReview • Hello MouseReview! A week ago, my friend and I posted a mouse flowchart for beginners. Here is the final revision! ->I recently have purchased my 2nd CORSAIR NIGHTSWORD RGB after trying out a Basilisk V3 and i must say i learned the "shape is king" for mice after that. But the Night sword is a wide mouse that doesn't have a diagonal slant to the right like the basilisk V3, its very comfortable and doesn't let my pinky touch the mouse pad. it also has 10 programable buttons.
r/MouseReview • Wide gaming mouse ->For how many of you guys ppl say it cost only 30$ but when i put in basket it says 50+ euro? Do you know the difference? Fuckin taxes are making purchase from China not worth it. I can get for 40 euro Basilisk v3 here and not bother with batteries which i bet 5$ will die in 2,3 y and then you must look to buy battery or throw it
r/MouseReview • Budget mouse recommendations? ->Generally mice that are more open. The G502 and Basilisk thumb area is a bit cramped. I don't have thick fingers, but long ones and my thumbs are a bit wider at the tips than on most people. The EC1 shape is good for working because it's super relaxed. But I aim better with the FK1 XL shape, Viper and similar works great too - less comfortable though.
r/MouseReview • Why Logitech G502 is the best mouse ever made ->I had a Razer Basilisk and it ate my batteries like crazy (Maybe it was faulty but i didn't wanna bother with it anymore). I would like to have a good mouse that charges with USB C and isn't too bad in terms of input latency and tracking. Are there any options that are worth the money? I hope its okay to ask these questions here because i have no damn idea about the mouse space lol :D
r/MouseReview • Any good wireless gaming mice that charge with USB C? ->Odd, I had my razer mouse since I was gaming on my mom’s apple laptop in 2014 lol, it just now gave out beginning of this year, with the mouse click not working. Haven’t opened it up but it might still be an easy fix. Bought a razer basilisk last Black Friday anyway just in case, and it handles like a dream
r/csgo • What is the best gaming mouse for right hand with cable (not wireless) ->I've had two G502's, both started having unwanted double click issues after just a year of use. Switched to Razer Basilisk and it's now my favorite mouse after the Logitech MX518 which is no longer being manufactured.
r/buildapc • What are one of the best general purpose (mainly gaming) mouses? ->If working is the primary need with gaming on the side my recommendation would probably be the Razer Basilisk line. They have two wireless options. But it also depends by the type of games he plays and how many extra buttons he needs.
r/MouseReview • best mouse to get my bf ? ->I've had a razor basilisk for about 5 years and it's sound but I've never had a mouse break tbh
r/Alienware • Is there an Alienware Gaming Mouse that lasts? ->I use a Razer Basilisk. There is open source mouse software polychromatic(https://polychromatic.app/) that i use with the razer daemon to manage the mouse and all it's functions. The daemon and software are compatible with pretty much every razer mouse.
r/linux_gaming • Recommendation for a Wireless Gaming Mouse Compatible with Linux ->I've got a razer naga that I've used since like 2010 that's still going very strong. Wife bought me a basilisk recently but i think I'm going to return it for the new wireless naga. It feels so much better in my hand. The basilisk feels so narrow and after a while it tends to cramp my hand.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->You mean the "RAT" Series. Im still rocking these today! Got my first RAT 7 at 2011. Now, since 3 years i use "RAT 8" and i never want any other mice. Fits like a glove for me since 13 years. tried mutiple others like Razer Basilisk, Corsair Darkstar (for ridiculous 170€ lol) Corsair M65 and a G502. I wasnt happy with any of them. RAT on top. <3
r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming mice on Reddit ->Best MMO Mouse, Logitech g502. It doesn't have all the side buttons, just 3 side, and two top buttons next to the left click. It's fully programable, and you can make macros as well. After that Razer Basilisk, similar design to the g502, not as many buttons. The kicker is I use a Keypad controller in my left hand. currently a Razer Tartarus Pro. There is one I am really interested in getting though: # Azeron Cyro
r/MMORPG • MMO Mouse Recommendation ->Razer Basilisk is by far the most comfortable mouse for me, but after trying out some lightweight mice like viper or zaopin Z1 I just could not go back to the higher weight
r/MouseReview • Mouse like MX master 3 for gaming? ->I havent tried steelseries but razer is far away from trash. I also like mice and try different ones every now and then like the vaxee xe, gpx2, viper v2 pro, dav3, pulsar x2v2, and much more. I have had a razer basilisk for like what 5 years now? Maybe even more and it hasnt gave me one single problem. I have the death adder v2 mini for years and havent had a single problem. I main the viper v2 pro and its the most amazing mouse for me out of all the ones i tried and still have in my collection including the new gpx 2. If you have a problem with a mouse dont make it a general statement and push people away from it. Because just like you have a problem, many people have had none. That goes for almost all top brands.
r/counterstrike • any gaming mice under 35€ for counter-strike? ->As someone who uses a tartarus daily, I say go that route. I am biased though because I love my tartarus and have used it in place of a regular keyboard for gaming for the last 10+ years. If you go for the tartarus, a Razer Basilisk is a solid option for a 'cheap' gaming mouse. You can pick it up for like $40, has good tracking, clicks feel fine. Primary reason I recommend the Basilisk as the cheap mouse alongside the tartarus is that you're already going to be using Razer Synapse software, so might as well not also have to run Corsair's iCue or Logitech's software alongside it.
r/MMORPG • Which is better investment for MMO gaming on laptop; quality pro mouse or budget mouse /one-hand keyboard? ->I’ve had nothing but razer mice through the years. The only thing that seems to happen to them all (for me, knock on wood) is the grip on the side will come off at some point and just need to be crazy glued. No biggie. Other than that (for mice) I love them. Having had a death adder, mamba, and now basilisk I recommend the basilisk of you play a lot of deferent games like I do. It will perform more then well for competitive, but also have enough buttons to macro for action games. Being able to click the scroll button left and right is a big help. That said if you play a lot of strategy or mmo’s my brother loves the naga. Has like 15 buttons. Pretty sure they make a newer version
r/razer • Any recommendations, I need help choosing my razer mouse? ->Name me rich wow tryhard thats willing to have 2 seperate mouse for 2 seperate reason. Most people just chill with one mouse beside very few people like me I use basilisk for moba/mmo (obviously because theres m4m5m6)
r/MouseReview • Where have all the MMO-styled Mice Gone? ->There is a whole subreddit dedicated to mice enthusiasts r/mousereview but you will get all kinds of opinions on there. I went with the [Wirecutter’s](https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/best-wired-wireless-gaming-mouse/) top pick the Razer Basilisk and have been happy with it for the last 3 years.
r/buildmeapc • best gaming mouse right now? ->Been using the razer basilisk for about 6 years now and I don't see myself switching any time soon
r/MouseReview • Mouse Recommendation (For Larger Hands) ->Razer basilisk. Personally not a fan of too many buttons on the mouse
r/DotA2 • What gaming mouse do you currently use? ->Oh!!! I like all the buttons! I've got the Razer Basilisk that works well for shooters, but it's only got 2 thumb buttons. I feel like there's a tremendous amount of utility potential with that Venue Pro though!?
r/Guildwars2 • What is the best gaming mouse to play GW2 smoothly? ->I have tried 3 different razor mice over the years. Don't like them at all. I am a hardcore FPS gamer so this is my absolute most important tool for my gaming. Razor products just seem wildly overpriced for average at best performance, and shelf life. I had a terrible time with the basilisk. I'm here because last year I read some obscure blurb about a Roccat mouse. I really liked it but it's starting to fail already. Sigh... I have also had a plethora of Logitech products. I am not a big fan of Logitech either. However their mice seem far superior to razor. Just the quality of the material anc builds seem superior to razor. That being said. I am looking for something different from these to brands. If I don't find anything I'll start browsing the best logitech mouse out there. If anyone has other suggestions I would love to look at them.
r/MouseReview • Best Gaming Mouse for 2025? (Valorant, CS:GO) ->Surprised the basilisk isn’t there, insanely good mouse a a little bit of a premium price.
r/pcmasterrace • I analyzed the 25 most recommended gaming mice on Reddit ->Easily can be both. Just like my basilisk is a great work mouse
r/MouseReview • Razer Pro Click V2 & V2 Vertical Edition ->I find the Razer Basilisk line to be pretty comfortable, though it's a bit heavy. You'd likely be well served by something lighter as well to move around with less effort. Pulsar Xlite, Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex and Razer Deathadder V3 are good choices.
r/MouseReview • Best ergonomic gaming mouse? ->I’ve been using a Logitech g900 chaos spectrum for about 9 years, only thing I changed is a magnetic charging port so all I have to do is retract a cable and magnetically swipe it on. It lasts for me about a week on the battery and has customizable buttons and plates. Used the basilisk as well for 6 months it just wasn’t it for me(and used plenty of other mice as well).
r/gamingpc • Good quality gaming mouse ->I got the razer V3 as my regular (larger mouse), a pulsar xlite V3 mini for my ergo needs and lamzu Maya X will be my 3rd and last for a while
r/MouseReview • Your personal best gaming mouse to purchase in 2024 ->
