Yeah same, I now use a Basilisk V3 Pro at home, and will probably switch the one at work to a Basilisk V3 Hyperspeed, they're pretty great mice, and have the same feel as the G502, except with a magnetic scroll wheel, and bluetooth connectivity

I have a Basilisk X Hyperspeed. It supports Bluetooth, but I use it via the USB-A adapter because I share the same KVM between my work laptop and personal desktop.

Imo Razer is not that good. I had everything from razer. headphones, mouse, mousepad, keeb etc. and I can say that the overall build quality is bad, but razer makes good switches. Switches in razer huntsman mini are really good. Edit: Headphones - Razer kraken first gen and Razer kraken X USB - broken after 5 months (Same happened to all my friends) Mouse - Razer basilisk X and Razer Viper - Viper fast teardown and rattling problem, basilisk - Sometimes it was losing connection (the receiver was 1m away from the mouse) Keyboard - Actually good I still have it

I bought basilisk v3 but it felt extremely small for me… Also I bought g502 x plus but it’s also with same problem and my wrist started to be in pain and today ( used it yesterday, on my way to return it ) I feel like my hand is exhausted… probably because of not possible to rest misddle of my hand… I’m using Razer naga currently for playing, old model from 2012 and it feels good, mx3s for works and naga for playing but unfortunately it starts to break after so many years… Do you think repoo would be a good gaming mouse? I like how my hand rests on mx3s and its shame it only has 125hz pooling rate - seriously Logitech, just produce mx4s with 1000hz pooling rate and you have best mouse ever…

I use the "Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed" on lowest dpi + glass infused mouse pad. Aim really depends on your mouse grip and what sensitivity you prefer. Some people are wrist users and some use their entire arm to aim. I personally just use my wrist with a claw grip and change my sensitivity until I can do a perfect 360. I also feel like i can play just fine on my $12 fortnite mouse my friend gave to me for free lol

I suggest you go for Basilisk v3. Not sure whether you’ve previously owned a razer mouse, but I can assure you that their cables are designed in a way that most of the time you don’t even notice them. I picked up the wired version for 50 bucks on black friday. If the cable is too much of a problem for you, go for the pro version, however I highly doubt you’ll find any wireless razer mouse under $100. As for the basilisk, it has 11 programmable buttons, free spin mode for the scroll wheel and overall feels very good in my hand. Edit: The hyperspeed version is wireless and in your price range

The basilisk is my third razer mouse. The cable is braided and is super thin and flexible. Never had any issue with it despite my cables usually being tangled altogether behind my PC. Not sure about the battery life as I’ve never used a wireless mouse. A friend of mine has a cobra pro (Another razer wireless mouse) and says he charges it once a week approx. Battery life could be longer on the basilisk but you’ll have to google that.

Don't trust this list. I had the following mice Logitech 502 - Heavy, outdated Naga/Scimitar - Only useful if you want the extra buttons, wireless vesions mucho expensive Deathadder essential - Bought 2 of them since they were only 20 euro on sale, both mouse wheels stopped working and started scrolling randomly Razer Deathadder V3 Pro - Has creaking issue on the left side of the mouse and problems with coating - issues fixed in the wired version that came later Basilisk V3 - Heavy but just a bit better than the 502 MX Master 3 - SUPER HEAVY, more of a work mouse than gaming I finally settled on a Deathadder 3 wired with a bungee, quite satisfied. I would recommend it, the Hyper x Pulsfire haste 2, or some of the new mice that came out that aren't "tried and tested", as counter - intuative as that sounds.

You can adjust most settings in the Basilisk V3 through signalrgb, much more lightweight than synapse. Doesn't work for keyboards, though.

But do other brands offer the whole experience? Like for example, Razer can offer an entire lighting setup coordination. Also, what about Chroma? My gaming daily driver is a Basilisk V3, but I just bought a Rapoo MT760 for work. I've used it for one day, and the mouse is insanely good. It's extremely well built, it feels nice and it suits me. My only issue with it is the software. Being a work mouse, it's not a big deal. But if I were to use it for gaming, the software isn't as good as Synapse.

Thanks! We didn't include the G502 in this list as it's mainly made for FPS users, but had we included it, we would've rated the Basilisk V3 higher as it's overall better. However, the G502 definitely has its fair share of supporters and it's not a bad option!

I recently have purchased my 2nd CORSAIR NIGHTSWORD RGB after trying out a Basilisk V3 and i must say i learned the "shape is king" for mice after that. But the Night sword is a wide mouse that doesn't have a diagonal slant to the right like the basilisk V3, its very comfortable and doesn't let my pinky touch the mouse pad. it also has 10 programable buttons.

For how many of you guys ppl say it cost only 30$ but when i put in basket it says 50+ euro? Do you know the difference? Fuckin taxes are making purchase from China not worth it. I can get for 40 euro Basilisk v3 here and not bother with batteries which i bet 5$ will die in 2,3 y and then you must look to buy battery or throw it

Generally mice that are more open. The G502 and Basilisk thumb area is a bit cramped. I don't have thick fingers, but long ones and my thumbs are a bit wider at the tips than on most people. The EC1 shape is good for working because it's super relaxed. But I aim better with the FK1 XL shape, Viper and similar works great too - less comfortable though.

I had a Razer Basilisk and it ate my batteries like crazy (Maybe it was faulty but i didn't wanna bother with it anymore). I would like to have a good mouse that charges with USB C and isn't too bad in terms of input latency and tracking. Are there any options that are worth the money? I hope its okay to ask these questions here because i have no damn idea about the mouse space lol :D

Odd, I had my razer mouse since I was gaming on my mom’s apple laptop in 2014 lol, it just now gave out beginning of this year, with the mouse click not working. Haven’t opened it up but it might still be an easy fix. Bought a razer basilisk last Black Friday anyway just in case, and it handles like a dream

If working is the primary need with gaming on the side my recommendation would probably be the Razer Basilisk line. They have two wireless options. But it also depends by the type of games he plays and how many extra buttons he needs.

I got one because I was on a string of bad selections that did not work for me or just failed.  I begrudgingly went back to Razer after having experienced build quality issues in the past, but I went with the Basilisk specifically for the optical switches.  So far it has been okay.  We'll see how long it holds up.

I've got a razer naga that I've used since like 2010 that's still going very strong. Wife bought me a basilisk recently but i think I'm going to return it for the new wireless naga. It feels so much better in my hand. The basilisk feels so narrow and after a while it tends to cramp my hand.

You mean the "RAT" Series. Im still rocking these today! Got my first RAT 7 at 2011. Now, since 3 years i use "RAT 8" and i never want any other mice. Fits like a glove for me since 13 years. tried mutiple others like Razer Basilisk, Corsair Darkstar (for ridiculous 170€ lol) Corsair M65 and a G502. I wasnt happy with any of them. RAT on top. <3

Best MMO Mouse, Logitech g502. It doesn't have all the side buttons, just 3 side, and two top buttons next to the left click. It's fully programable, and you can make macros as well. After that Razer Basilisk, similar design to the g502, not as many buttons. The kicker is I use a Keypad controller in my left hand. currently a Razer Tartarus Pro. There is one I am really interested in getting though: # Azeron Cyro

I havent tried steelseries but razer is far away from trash. I also like mice and try different ones every now and then like the vaxee xe, gpx2, viper v2 pro, dav3, pulsar x2v2, and much more. I have had a razer basilisk for like what 5 years now? Maybe even more and it hasnt gave me one single problem. I have the death adder v2 mini for years and havent had a single problem. I main the viper v2 pro and its the most amazing mouse for me out of all the ones i tried and still have in my collection including the new gpx 2. If you have a problem with a mouse dont make it a general statement and push people away from it. Because just like you have a problem, many people have had none. That goes for almost all top brands.

As someone who uses a tartarus daily, I say go that route. I am biased though because I love my tartarus and have used it in place of a regular keyboard for gaming for the last 10+ years. If you go for the tartarus, a Razer Basilisk is a solid option for a 'cheap' gaming mouse. You can pick it up for like $40, has good tracking, clicks feel fine. Primary reason I recommend the Basilisk as the cheap mouse alongside the tartarus is that you're already going to be using Razer Synapse software, so might as well not also have to run Corsair's iCue or Logitech's software alongside it.

I’ve had nothing but razer mice through the years. The only thing that seems to happen to them all (for me, knock on wood) is the grip on the side will come off at some point and just need to be crazy glued. No biggie. Other than that (for mice) I love them. Having had a death adder, mamba, and now basilisk I recommend the basilisk of you play a lot of deferent games like I do. It will perform more then well for competitive, but also have enough buttons to macro for action games. Being able to click the scroll button left and right is a big help. That said if you play a lot of strategy or mmo’s my brother loves the naga. Has like 15 buttons. Pretty sure they make a newer version

I have tried 3 different razor mice over the years. Don't like them at all. I am a hardcore FPS gamer so this is my absolute most important tool for my gaming. Razor products just seem wildly overpriced for average at best performance, and shelf life. I had a terrible time with the basilisk. I'm here because last year I read some obscure blurb about a Roccat mouse. I really liked it but it's starting to fail already. Sigh... I have also had a plethora of Logitech products. I am not a big fan of Logitech either. However their mice seem far superior to razor. Just the quality of the material anc builds seem superior to razor. That being said. I am looking for something different from these to brands. If I don't find anything I'll start browsing the best logitech mouse out there. If anyone has other suggestions I would love to look at them.

I find the Razer Basilisk line to be pretty comfortable, though it's a bit heavy. You'd likely be well served by something lighter as well to move around with less effort. Pulsar Xlite, Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex and Razer Deathadder V3 are good choices.

I’ve been using a Logitech g900 chaos spectrum for about 9 years, only thing I changed is a magnetic charging port so all I have to do is retract a cable and magnetically swipe it on. It lasts for me about a week on the battery and has customizable buttons and plates. Used the basilisk as well for 6 months it just wasn’t it for me(and used plenty of other mice as well).
