"Primary reason I recommend the Basilisk as the cheap mouse alongside the tartarus is that you're already going to be using Razer Synapse software, so might as well not also have to run Corsair's iCue or Logitech's software alongside it."

"if you have larger hands like I do, some might not be the best fit. In that case, I’d recommend the Razer Basilisk V3"

"have the same feel as the G502"

"I’d recommend the Razer Basilisk V3 or the ASUS ROG Spatha X if you’re looking for a mouse with 6+ programmable buttons."

"Right now, I am begrudgingly giving Razer another shot with a Basilisk v3 because it has optical switches as well. ... Invariably they all let me down, usually with the switches failing for either the left or right button in a short amount of time."

Yeah same, I now use a Basilisk V3 Pro at home, and will probably switch the one at work to a Basilisk V3 Hyperspeed, they're pretty great mice, and have the same feel as the G502, except with a magnetic scroll wheel, and bluetooth connectivity

alright then the VV3 hyperspeed will be a step up in terms of size just so you know the shape will be different.

Both are good options based on your needs shape/size wise deathadder V2x is bigger the basilisk v3x has an optical scroll wheel encoder so it's durable than the dav2x scroll wheel encoder

r/MouseReviewNew mice for palm grip

They're ok the vv3 pro is not ideal for palm grip the basilisk is good for palm grip but too heavy for competitive gaming

I only know the basilisk v3 and g502x both mice are similar shape and same feature like optical switch on the main buttons and scroll wheel encoder, there is the Dav3 Wired a large ergo that has optical switch but uses mechanical scroll wheel encoder, Ec1-c another large ergo has optical scroll wheel encoder but uses mechanical switch. If you go wireless then there is the leviathan v4 it's similar to the vv3 pro has optical switch on the main buttons and scroll wheel

I bought Razer Basilisk V3 x Hyperspeed a month and a bit ago after 7 years on Logitech G603 as G703 was discontinued. I like the build quality, size, ergonomics and feel of mouse - I am right handed and have rather large hands so it fits me perfectly. The buttons are silent when compared to G603, so its unnoticeable in daily use. The lightning, DPI and buttons are programmable which requires Razer Synapse, but it's easy to do and the mouse remembers the settings when switching over from 2.4 Ghz to BT and switching is almost instant. There are some negatives though. The biggest drawback is that 2.4Ghz receiver must be extremely close to the mouse and in direct line of sight - I had mine connected directly to MB with PC standing on the desk, so less than 1m away and had intermittent disruptions which was annoying. Same when connected to the front/top of the case. Used a USB extender (not included with the mouse) so that the receiver is 50cm away and the problem went away, but I never had a problem with Logitech mice even up to 3-4m away). The battery life is too short for me - I average 10h daily, mixed 2,4Ghz/BT usage as I use it on both my PC and work laptop and the battery lasts 2-3 weeks even with lightning off, while G603 with 2xAA lasted over a year, so I'd suggest having a spare AA battery lying around. Can't say much about reliability so far, but overall I like it much more than G603 and would rate the mouse 8/10 and hope it will last as long as G603 or even longer.

https://a.co/d/dxwnsfH Lowkey one of the cheapest wireless mice I’ve ever used, went from the Naga Trinity, and it feels exactly the same but wireless and no swappable side buttons.

I bought basilisk v3 but it felt extremely small for me… Also I bought g502 x plus but it’s also with same problem and my wrist started to be in pain and today ( used it yesterday, on my way to return it ) I feel like my hand is exhausted… probably because of not possible to rest misddle of my hand… I’m using Razer naga currently for playing, old model from 2012 and it feels good, mx3s for works and naga for playing but unfortunately it starts to break after so many years… Do you think repoo would be a good gaming mouse? I like how my hand rests on mx3s and its shame it only has 125hz pooling rate - seriously Logitech, just produce mx4s with 1000hz pooling rate and you have best mouse ever…

I’ve only used two gaming mice in my life, and overall my favourite is the current one I use right now: the Razer basilisk V3 X Hyperspeed, little heavy but overall I’ve had a wonderful experience with the mouse. Pretty good improvement to my Logitech g203
