I wouldn't call Razer jank. I have owned and used quite a lot of mice from Logitech gaming (g502, retired) to the 3 and own 2 MX 3s. I also have 3 Razer mice.   * Razer Basilisk v3 Pro (previous was the Gen 1 Ultimate version which I owned as well)-> hybrid mouse between productivity and gaming, more on the heavier side vs traditional Razer mice. Intelligent charging setup (magnetic base charging) and the comes with a dongle and USB connector that is interesting. * Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed Wireless Gaming (travel or out of my home office, mostly collects dust in a drawer now) * Razer Viper Ultimate (gaming mouse, lightweight and my go to for that) Neither companies' software is ideal, though Razer's latest release (still bloated) is better than the prior version. I prefer the MX 3s for productivity working, and Basilisk 3 for casual use, browsing, some gaming, if my Viper is charging or I want to go with a heavier feel mouse.

Imo Razer is not that good. I had everything from razer. headphones, mouse, mousepad, keeb etc. and I can say that the overall build quality is bad, but razer makes good switches. Switches in razer huntsman mini are really good. Edit: Headphones - Razer kraken first gen and Razer kraken X USB - broken after 5 months (Same happened to all my friends) Mouse - Razer basilisk X and Razer Viper - Viper fast teardown and rattling problem, basilisk - Sometimes it was losing connection (the receiver was 1m away from the mouse) Keyboard - Actually good I still have it

I suggest you go for Basilisk v3. Not sure whether you’ve previously owned a razer mouse, but I can assure you that their cables are designed in a way that most of the time you don’t even notice them. I picked up the wired version for 50 bucks on black friday. If the cable is too much of a problem for you, go for the pro version, however I highly doubt you’ll find any wireless razer mouse under $100. As for the basilisk, it has 11 programmable buttons, free spin mode for the scroll wheel and overall feels very good in my hand. Edit: The hyperspeed version is wireless and in your price range

The basilisk is my third razer mouse. The cable is braided and is super thin and flexible. Never had any issue with it despite my cables usually being tangled altogether behind my PC. Not sure about the battery life as I’ve never used a wireless mouse. A friend of mine has a cobra pro (Another razer wireless mouse) and says he charges it once a week approx. Battery life could be longer on the basilisk but you’ll have to google that.

It affects battery life too much since most people are turning towards wireless. There are still some mice like G502 X Plus with lines on its back or one of the Razer Basilisk even has it on the sides so it shines on the mousepad.

Generally mice that are more open. The G502 and Basilisk thumb area is a bit cramped. I don't have thick fingers, but long ones and my thumbs are a bit wider at the tips than on most people. The EC1 shape is good for working because it's super relaxed. But I aim better with the FK1 XL shape, Viper and similar works great too - less comfortable though.

Windows can only recognize two side buttons natively and they're always called Mouse4 and Mouse5. Other buttons have to be assigned to a keyboard button, otherwise they won't be recognized. Look for MMO-mice if you want really many buttons. Otherwise Logitech G502, Razer Basilisk and Glorious Model i2 are options to consider.

I would like to have a good mouse that charges with USB C and isn't too bad in terms of input latency and tracking. Are there any options that are worth the money? I hope its okay to ask these questions here because i have no damn idea about the mouse space lol :D

Corsair's 502 is the M65, Razer's is the Basilisk. Though, I don't think any of them are particularly big mice, the 502 is just really really heavy because of the metal scroll wheel and freescroll, and the side support for the big ass sniper button.

It's one of the three most common grip styles. People who use a palm grip just move their whole hand across their mousepad if they use a lower DPI. https://preview.redd.it/n3sox6v4kgff1.png?width=1500&format=png&auto=webp&s=c80ca80c73e45362be8d21360d74e338ad02a671

I usually look for mice that don't have too many side buttons. I never click them, and I never accidentally click them, but I only find the DPI buttons necessary sometimes, and that's fine. My Naga was better suited for MMOs, but I ended up stopping using it due to my busy day-to-day workload. So I started using the Mamba more. Its size is perfect for anything, and I find it very comfortable. I've used the Basilisk a few times with the Deathadder v2. The only drawback with the V2 was the DPI buttons on the right-click and the fact that both are battery-operated.

As I said I wouldn’t choose that one either, I’d rather choose the basilisk to be honest. It’s also depend by how many buttons you need and whether you might also want to consider a dual device setup. For instance if you need it for something like WoW whilst I appreciate it’s a matter of preference, I don’t a mouse with a lot of buttons is the right answer.

I love my Razer Basilisk. It's lightweight and very ergonomically comfortable, a button for changing custom dpi profiles, thumb up and down, RGB, and most importantly and customizable scroll wheel. There's a wheel underneath that you can turn to slowly set the scroll wheel to have tighter more defined steps (i.e. more resistant) or go the other way and make it looser. This let me find the absolute perfect balance of how fast I want to scroll in game. Can't remember if I have v2 or v3, I think it's the older one. I'd check but I'm on a trip rn not at home...

[Eloshapes is pretty great for comparing mouse shapes](https://www.eloshapes.com/mouse/compare?p=logitech-g502-x-lightspeed-vs.-keychron-m7-vs.-razer-basilisk-x-hyperspeed)  I find that Razer's Basilisk sits perfectly in my hand (rather long fingers). However, I was really annoyed when that thing died after mere 3 years. That’s to say nothing of their software. Since then I got Keychron M7. Ergonomics are slightly worse, but it's an infinitely better mouse in every other way.

I usually use a basilisk, but this will be for my legion go setup and that mouse is way to big.to fit in the bag so unless I go with the mobile one, I feel cobra may be best bet. Unless I decide to go mega portable and just stick with logi stuff. But the new cobra is by far the lightest of all the mice which is surprisingly as its not battery powered like most the others

Naga felt worse for me than Basilisk. The pinky rest was nice, but not having the thumb rest that the Basilisk has was a huge no go and I ended up returning the Naga because of it. I had to change my grip to avoid hitting the side buttons because my thumb was not at rest.

I actually had that setup for my gaming PC and loved it EXCEPT, if I will say I had random disconnect/reconnections if I used that extra Mouse Dock Pro as my wireless receiver. Not sure if that was eventually patched, I moved on to the Razer Viper V3 Pro. If you aren’t getting that extra charging dock you shouldn’t have anything to worry about, but if you are (or are open to it) I’d see if people are still experiencing the reconnects. I will say, the ProClick, the Balsilisk, both are very comfortable. You’d be happy either way Not an ad I just really like Razer’s mice 😂

As someone who uses a tartarus daily, I say go that route. I am biased though because I love my tartarus and have used it in place of a regular keyboard for gaming for the last 10+ years. If you go for the tartarus, a Razer Basilisk is a solid option for a 'cheap' gaming mouse. You can pick it up for like $40, has good tracking, clicks feel fine. Primary reason I recommend the Basilisk as the cheap mouse alongside the tartarus is that you're already going to be using Razer Synapse software, so might as well not also have to run Corsair's iCue or Logitech's software alongside it.

I’ve had nothing but razer mice through the years. The only thing that seems to happen to them all (for me, knock on wood) is the grip on the side will come off at some point and just need to be crazy glued. No biggie. Other than that (for mice) I love them. Having had a death adder, mamba, and now basilisk I recommend the basilisk of you play a lot of deferent games like I do. It will perform more then well for competitive, but also have enough buttons to macro for action games. Being able to click the scroll button left and right is a big help. That said if you play a lot of strategy or mmo’s my brother loves the naga. Has like 15 buttons. Pretty sure they make a newer version

Only issue with razer mice is the scroll wheel problem. Have used basilisk and orochi v2 and both had the scrolling problem that when you scroll down it sometimes keeps scrolling up. Changing the encoder works or properly clearing dust from the inside but mane are these mice so hard to reassemble and the fact you need to know how to solder to replace the encoder yourself.

I went on a similar journey as you, from mx master 3, then razer basilisk, then Logitech g502x, then Keychron M6. My main goal was to find something that fit the ergonomic shape of mx master, but a wired version of that. I have just started using the Redragon M811, and I’m loving it so far. It fits in my hand much better than the M6. It’s also wired and has a *ton* of buttons you can map. There’s no horizontal scroll wheel though. This one is definitely the best I have found for my goal of wired mouse that feels similar in shape to mx master.

My Deathadder mouse broke when our rabbit chewed through the cable. I had that thing for many years with no problems. I bought a Razer Basilisk to replace it and it's been great. I've also had a Razer Blackwidow Elite keyboard for 2 years and some of the keys just started occasionally not registering key presses. The "o" key, the windows key and the "|" (pipe) key, all of which I use a lot. When it stops registering key presses it might be for a few minutes, hours or days before it magically starts working again. Razer support wont even talk to you when the keyboard is out of warranty. I am not happy about that at all and am replacing it with a Keychron V6. I used to buy Logitech stuff but they were even worse quality. I never had a Logitech mouse last more than 2 years before it started double clicking. Their keyboards are garbage too. The wireless on them doesn't reach more than 2 feet. Anything further than that and I get connection drops. I'll never buy Logitech again. I'm not quite there with Razer because I do like their mice. I work from home and use the mouse and keyboard for at least 8 hours a day. I went with the Keychron keyboard this time because the switches are hot swappable so if one breaks I can take it out and pop another in.

Sorry this is gonna be long response but your problem is something I have explored for a while and am passionate about lol. I agree it's pretty frustrating to find light mice with lots of buttons. I also love mice with 6+ buttons. Besides the aforementioned Aerox line (or even Rival 5) from Steelseries, there aren't a lot of options as they all start pushing 100g. An alternative is the corsair m65 which has tilt gestures, or the razer basilisk, but these mice are still 100g There are a couple things you can do to solve your problem though. One is software related, and the other is ergonomic modding related. Software can increase your binds, while modding can make mice (feel) lighter # Software: Use button shifting/layering in software to increase the number of buttons you have available. The only companies that I know of that do this is Logitech (G-shift), Razer (hypershift), Roccat (Easyshift) and fortunately your Glorious mouse (Layer Shift)! Try playing around in your glorious CORE software to enable layer shift and then you can effectively double/triple your binds # Modding: Mod your existing mouse (or one you like with lots of buttons) to improve ergonomics and grip strength. This in turn allows a stronger hold on your mouse thus making it feel lighter. This is pretty much what I did when all the mice I liked were heavy but had 8+ buttons lol For example, I too love my g600 and use it for a lot of stuff. I took it apart to solder new switches and i found out it has 2 metal plates inside to add weight (absolute blasphemy!). I took those out and it reduced the g600 by 30g, so now it's only about 100g, which is pretty light by my personal standards. Then I added grip tape to the sides and a wedge for my pinky, then switched out the stock cable for a paracord cable and now the g600 feels like a lightweight dream to use. Consider Clawmates by Struth Gaming for comfortable wedges to put on a mouse with lots of buttons. I use clawmates on a spatha X and razer basilisk for competitive FPS games and they feel plenty good to flick and track with, even with their heavy weights Hopefully all this info helps. Happy mouse searching/modding, pal! #

I have tried 3 different razor mice over the years. Don't like them at all. I am a hardcore FPS gamer so this is my absolute most important tool for my gaming. Razor products just seem wildly overpriced for average at best performance, and shelf life. I had a terrible time with the basilisk. I'm here because last year I read some obscure blurb about a Roccat mouse. I really liked it but it's starting to fail already. Sigh... I have also had a plethora of Logitech products. I am not a big fan of Logitech either. However their mice seem far superior to razor. Just the quality of the material anc builds seem superior to razor. That being said. I am looking for something different from these to brands. If I don't find anything I'll start browsing the best logitech mouse out there. If anyone has other suggestions I would love to look at them.

Not to mention that synaps is god tier awful. Seriously, it's like they go out of their way to have shit software. Back when I had a basilisk It was a constant struggle just to get synaps to open. Even after adding permissions, I'd have to do a funky chicken dance of opening normally, then open as an admin, then open normally again just to get synaps to let me in lol. And that only had like a 75% success rate. I've since got a logitech and had 0 problems.

It can happen for any number of reasons. Most common is from moisture and oils in your skin. Secondarily is from high heat and/or humidity. Then there is breakdown from chemicals, extraneous oils, and other reasons. As an example; The thumb-side on my Basilisk has degraded down to the plastic underneath, and the pinky side has a definite groove and the texture has almost disappeared in other spots. However, I live in an environment that is 30 C average indoors (I don't use AC, just fans) and around 80% average relative humidity. Soft-touch Rubber degrades into a gummy mess, and leatherette delaminates, peels and flakes within a few months. So if you live in a relatively cool and dry environment (not super cold, the rubber will crumble that way too) then it is much more durable.

Well I got the aerox 9 and the corsair scimitar. I bought the Scimitar later because the Aerox broke after just under two years. The Aerox looks nice and is lighter, but its design is simply flawed. All the dirt gets in, and there's no real way to clean it. After using the Scimitar for a while, I have to say that it's the better mouse in a direct comparison. I also have a Razer Basilisk, and of all the Razer products I've had, I've always thought that they were far too overpriced.

Bro I have the same issue. I too use it as an excuse for my aim lol. The unfortunate part is that even if you google gaming or computer mice for big hands. the Basilisk (I own the same one.) is actually in the top 3 pretty consistently. If you want to stick with razer then see if there new ergo Pro Click V2 vertical would fit. Also report back, I'm curious lol. the logic is that because it's vertical it is more palm too mouse ration. My logic in this thinking is that I'm a care giver for disabled adults. I recently helped one of my clients who had a stroke use a Azeron Cyro (look it up they are really cool, but expensive). Since I can use both hands i help him get all the macro keys set up per game he wants to play. What I noticed is that the fact that its a vertical build. For my hands. (which are pretty similar to yours.) actually fit in that mouse VERY comfortably. Just some food for thought.

people on here are super into peformance above all else so you won't find any RGB mice recommendations but like others said the G502X Plus and the latest Razer Basilisk are still really well, well built mice with very good tech (sensors, clicks etc) that have RGB. The main issue for me with RGB is that it kills battery life. And wireless today is so good, to have my G502X's battery life drop from 100 hours to 30 hours just so it can look nice on the desk is not worth it. But the wired G502X doesn't have any RGB (what the fuck Logitech) so I don't know what to tell ya.

I only swapped because I wanted the new Quartz kb/m combo, the Black Widow went to my wife who used it right until she bough her Mac and swapped to the Mac keyboard! It still works but it's relegated to the cupboard for now.

The Basilisk is a great mmo mouse, plenty of buttons and you can make macros to save on a bit of button mashing.

I’ve been using a Logitech g900 chaos spectrum for about 9 years, only thing I changed is a magnetic charging port so all I have to do is retract a cable and magnetically swipe it on. It lasts for me about a week on the battery and has customizable buttons and plates. Used the basilisk as well for 6 months it just wasn’t it for me(and used plenty of other mice as well).

Same hand size and same mouse!  You do get used to it, I think the Basilisk is the best for the size and the side wing for your thumb.  Remember though, bigger mices are not better for aiming, they are heavier and will require more effort to move, even if you don't feel it, there will be more delay since it will require more force to move as if you had a lighter one.

I've had good experiences with Razer, have both a Basilisk and a Deathadder V2 Hyperspeed and both are awesome. They use a AA battery and it lasts a loooooong time.

I have a literal box of deathadders because I had this thing where I thought I had to keep the same mouse to keep my aim consistent...they'd double click after like 1 month. I must have like 7 of them... Eventually said fuck it and got a basilisk, optical buttons. They can't double click. I think the fact I clicked them on the front left edge caused them to break faster, too much leverage.

Man, I still have remember finding this guy on super clearance in a local mall about 10 years ago, what a awesome mouse with a fun UI for its customization software. It's definitely not as big, but I've been using the Razer Basilisk, so a mouse that's that shape might be solid option as a replacement imo

I use an MMO mouse with 1-12 on the side. Program those buttons to whatever you like, for example in FPS’ I use 4 as melee and 5 as grenade, etc. I’ve used razer naga molten, v2 and I just bought hyperspeed, love them. I’d recommend something like that. https://i5.walmartimages.com/asr/ff3c0108-ae4d-4e03-a3ac-6c69a45d4e22.f6153b072aacaf0ff4f99182a3db7949.jpeg

I have the razer hyperspeed, don't get it. It uses batteries and weighs so much unless you get special batteries. Haven't had 1 and 2 but go with one of them
