I tried a demo of that boomslang at gencon 99 and it was mindblowing. Unheard of sensitivity.

r/pcmasterrace • Daily driver for 12 years and started double clicking randomly, RIP ->Someone needs to remake the razer boomslang, i have the same issue of giant hands and it was the best shape for me.
r/pcmasterrace • Help for a mouse that fits my hand ->A Logitech Wingman Gaming mouse but it didn't look like a gaming mouse, for that it would probably be my Razer Boomslang, was good while it lasted...about 4 months and the right mouse button stopped working. That was a common theme with Razer mice for me I stopped buying them after the Copperhead. But for the start of playing Quake I used a Logitech Trackman Marble thumb trackball for years, I used it and mice and I kept going back to it, finally stopped using it around 2002, started having trouble with my thumb. Favorite mice from back then are the Microsoft Intellimouse Optical 1.1 or 1.1a and the Steelseries Kana v2, but the Kana was not the best made mouse, but thankfully relatively cheap at the time around $30. I still have like 8 1.1/1.1a that work. I miss mice that had a side button on both sides, I fingertip grip so I could actually use both easily.
r/MouseReview • What was your first "official" gaming mouse? ->Razer Boomslang, the shape was hideous.
r/MouseReview • What was your first "official" gaming mouse? ->Razer has had quality issues from day 1. I bought the first Razer mouse, the Boomslang, in like 1999 and it didn't last a year.
r/pcmasterrace • Daily driver for 12 years and started double clicking randomly, RIP ->oh yeah i LOVED the mouse, that and the logitech wingman were my first gaming mice, but the Razer just didnt last.

r/pcmasterrace • Daily driver for 12 years and started double clicking randomly, RIP ->I used Razer from 1999 with the Boomslang up until the DA2013 which they had to replaced 7 times in 3 years. I will say kudos on them for replacing it so many times, but the fact that I had so many failures in so little time turned me off the company.

r/pcmasterrace • Daily driver for 12 years and started double clicking randomly, RIP ->I love my Zowie EC1-CW. It's simple. There is a "better" sensor out, but I have dozens of mouses, and I dont know why for me it's got my favorite sensor. I think I lift the mouse up a little as I mouse around, and this one seems to track just right for my usage. It's got a good latency, it's plain and comfortable. You don't need drivers (it's got hardware buttons for everything on the bottom). The charging, wireless, and corded mode's all work good. I'm kind of a mouse collector and I literally have a box filled with mouses. I still have my first razer boomslang and diamondback (diamond back still one of my favorite mice of all time although I grew out of that grip style I use it from time to time).
r/buildapc • Wireless Gaming mice without “gamer aesthetic?” ->Razer Boomslang back in 2000
r/MouseReview • What was your first "official" gaming mouse? ->The Razer Boomslang if you can find it. Huge and about the weight of a cinder block. Perfect for big meaty gorilla mitts.
r/pcmasterrace • Help for a mouse that fits my hand ->Ohhh, the Boomslang was sooo cool :)
r/MouseReview • What was your first "official" gaming mouse? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
