Meanwhile I am using Razer Cobra wired after playing with DeathAdder Essential for like 3 years. it was a 100g > 58g weight reduction, still... crazy

My current mouse is Razer Basilisk v3 and I have used the ant esports gm320 and other budget mice. When you go from those budget office mice to a 1000 rupee mouse the difference is stark. The look, the feel, software customization, tracking etc just blows you away. But past 3k you start getting diminishing returns, it's more of a who has the lightest mouse game. Maybe mouse weight is something that's important to you but personally I don't care much. There are some mice with extra features centred around productivity like MX master 3s, Basillisk v3 and g502x but I often wonder if it's worth the huge price jump. If they really improve your workflow then I guess yes but for others they come off as gimmicky. With all this said I would still recommend you to buy the Razer cobra. The tracking on the gm320 is a bit jumpy, that's not the case with cobra. Also the light weight is something that will help you a lot if you play esports games. It also comes with optical switches that will last you longer than most mechanical mice switches. My gm320's left click felt a bit mushy after 2 years of use.

Just get the cobra, it is literally the best wired mouse. Perfect in every aspect. •Super durable optical switches that won't double click ✓ •Lightweight and has great stock mouse skates + a lightweight cable that makes it feel like a wireless mouse ✓ •Razer chroma support RGB that is not tacky, just enough Underglow that looks great ✓ • Affordable Besides personal preferences like looks or grip, nothing even comes close

I'm a new mouse enthusiast that was **CRAZY** enough to purchase **11 different gaming mice** so you **DON'T HAVE TO** lol. I'm writing this to conclude my hyper fixation (hopefully). **TLDR: Shape is king!** YouTube mouse reviews are helpful, but reviewers have to nitpick things that really don't matter for the average consumer/gamer. Eloshapes and RTINGS 3d Comparison are great tools, but ultimately holding a mouse in-hand is the best way to compare shapes. Mouse sensors are pretty much all great these days and click latency feels identical unless you are a pro gamer or superhuman. Don't worry about latency and sensor/click performance unless you have issues with a specific mouse. High polling rate capability should be the least important factor when deciding on a mouse IMO. 2k and above are nice to have, but anything above 4k is totally unnecessary unless you have the PC to maintain good FPS and want to. Most Valorant/CS2 pros still use 1k in actual events/matches. Also a good idea to update firmware for receiver/dongle and the mouse itself right away to minimize any known issues. **WAIT at least 1 week after buying a mouse before deciding if you want to return or keep,** your first impression of a shape is fairly reliable. However, some of these mice grew on me heavily after I gave them more use and time to find a comfortable grip style. **DON'T impulsively buy mice like I did either (hindsight is 20/20 haha). Definitely try the Scyrox V6 if you have smaller hands and didn't quite enjoy the G Pro X Superlight shape.** **Spend the least amount of money possible. More expensive mice really don't feel much better than budget options from Scyrox and other competition. Only spend a lot if you are positive that a particular shape is what you want.** Most of these mice were bought through Amazon Prime. In total I ended up returning 5 of the mice over time. I play **Valorant 99 percent** of the time. I'm a hard stuck Gold player in Valorant with around 1600 hours played on and off in the past 2 years. (hate but also love the game) My hands are on the smaller side at\*\*: 17.5cm x 9.35cm.\*\* I rotate between a relaxed claw/regular claw grip. I always keep my wrist in full contact with my mousepad. I play on fairly low sensitivity in game. For Valorant and Kovvaks between 0.23 - 0.27 at 800 dpi. These mice were all used primarily on 800 dpi FWIW. **Mousepad:** Steel Series QCK XXL Heavy (Tabletop Mousepad). Has 1 year of use so is definitely more of a control pad. I've owned the original G Pro X Superlight for the past year and was basis of comparison for all of these mice. Going to rate these mice in different categories/sub-categories. Ratings will be out of 10. If you want more detailed info about any of these mice that I can't fit below please ask in comments. # Mouse Shape Comparison: G Pro X Superlight: **5/10** Safe shape that is a decent starting point for most hand sizes larger than mine. Definitely always felt too large for my hand size in length and the sides always felt too flat and wide. Shape is not distinct enough to easily have a consistent claw grip for my preferences. To say this mouse is uncomfortable would be a lie, just not my favorite. Razer Viper V3 Pro (Returned): **6/10** Think this is a better safe recommendation for claw grip for those who have medium to large hands. Compared to the superlight this mouse felt longer but more distinct in hand than the potato shape of the GPX. Sadly mouse really not ideal for smaller hand sizes like mine but if I had larger hands I would definitely prefer to GPX. Can still make work with smaller hands but have to fight the shape more. Pulsar X2 Crazylight (Returned): **6/10** Small mouse with a low side profile and not very much palm support towards back. Felt ok for me but it left me wanting much more palm support for claw grip in back hump. Side buttons always felt too cramped above thumb on left side, wish the buttons were positioned higher up. Would be better suited for a fingertip grip than claw IMO. Pulsar X2H v3 mini (Returned): **7/10** Compared to the X2 Crazylight/X2 mini shape, this mouse felt significantly better for relaxed claw and more aggressive claw grip. The length of the shape combined with the width and bulbous hump in back makes this mouse feel decently stubby, so it wasn't as comfortable as some of these other options for longer periods of use. Definitely try **Scyrox V8** instead which is pretty much a longer version of this shape that is cheaper and has better main clicks. Ninjutso Sora V2 or Pulsar X2 Medium similar options to V8. XM2w 4k v1 (Returned): **3/10** Sadly this shape was the only mouse that I found quite uncomfortable. This shape is very wide and I would definitely not recommend to anyone with hands similar or smaller than mine. The left side of the mouse I found to be ok. On the right side I couldn't find a comfortable grip for my ring and pinky fingers with the wide front flare. The back of the mouse also felt too wide for my hands to comfortably grip. **Really consider the width and length of your hands before buying this.** Think you have to like a wide in-hand feel even if you have larger hands. Lack of any button grooves also really doesn't help for comfort. Hump of mouse does not feel super supportive despite the dimensions listing 39mm tall. The width of the hump makes it feel way shorter to me. OP1w 4k v2: **7.5/10** Highly recommend this shape for claw grip if you have small/medium hands. Feels much more comfortable and precise than the XM2 for me. From what I hear also a great fingertip grip choice for all hand sizes. Narrowness of mouse and not the most palm support make this mouse become a bit fatiguing after multiple hours of use. Still love the shape but feels like it only works for claw/fingertip for gaming/aim training. Wouldn't recommend for work/use outside of gaming. Not a safe recommendation for everyone. Unless you absolutely need the wireless version I would recommend the OP18k v2 instead since its lighter which would make a difference with how small and dense the shape is. Also is noticeably cheaper with the same build quality. Lamzu Inca (Returned then bought again): **9/10** You either love this mouse shape or hate it. Truly nothing like the Zowie ZA13 shape which this is a nearly 1:1 clone of. Perfect for all types of claw (relaxed, regular, aggressive/pincer). Shape is very supportive with a high rear hump and narrow waist on sides. If you enjoy OP1 shape but want something with much more rear palm support, this is for you. Downsides being it is basically an exclusive claw shape, you cannot palm this comfortably, maybe could fingertip with large hands. Also shape is very extreme and locked in which can sometimes feel too fatiguing or excessive when using outside of high precision gaming such as in Tactical FPS games. I actually bought this mouse twice. Returned it because I thought maybe it was too extreme but regretted and purchased a second time in a different color. If you have smaller/medium hands and want a very tailored experience for Claw grip gaming with ample palm support, definitely look here! Scyrox V6: **10/10** Wish I would have started with this mouse instead of buying everything else. I can safely recommend this shape to anyone who wants a smaller ambi mouse with ample palm support. It feels like a great blend between many different mice I reviewed here. Less extreme than the Inca which makes it suitable for palm grip to some extent or just a more relaxed claw. Feels like this is what the superlight should have been for me originally. If you have smaller hands than mine, I would recommend looking into the original shape this is based on, the G-Wolves Hati/HTS plus. The length of that mouse is a bit shorter but frankly I don't think the V6 is long enough to be uncomfortable for truly small hands. Zowie S2-DW (Returned): **7/10** Good fairly safe shape that feels more locked in than GPX Superlight. Mouse feels a bit too wide for longer periods of use and wish button height was lower in front. Didn't stand out amongst other options IMO. Zowie U2-DW: **8/10** Really unique shape that is great for a relaxed claw, claw, and even a hybrid palm grip. Has elements of ergonomic mice incorporated such as the inner thumb curve on the left side. Not as good overall IMO since the hump is fairly flat feeling but still gives adequate support. Also think front button height should be lower to be the most optimized for claw grip. Definitely took a few days of use to really click with the shape and find out how to grip comfortably. Razer Cobra Wired: **6/10** Had high hopes for this since I wanted something similar to Viper Mini but really feels like this mouse is designed for fingertip grip primarily, even more so than the original Viper mini. I never tried the Viper Mini but from the RTINGs 3D comparison tool and Eloshapes it looks like it is a bit narrower on the right side and has a taller hump that tapers off more abruptly on the sides. Shape just feels like its lacking a ton of palm support for my preference and grip style. Found a way to somewhat comfortably grip by adapting a palm/relaxed claw hybrid grip but overall not ideal for comfort IMO. For fingertip grip on a budget though I think its a really great option. # Mouse Coating: OP1w 4k v2: 10/10 | XM2w 4k v1: 10/10 | Razer Viper V3 Pro: 9/10 | Zowie U2-DW: 8.5/10| Zowie S2-DW: 8/10 | Lamzu Inca: 8/10 | Scyrox V6: 7/10 | G Pro X Superlight: 7.5/10 | Pulsar X2 Crazylight: 7/10 | Pulsar X2H v3 mini: 7/10 | Razer Cobra Wired: 4/10 (just textured plastic not rubberized like rest) # MB1/MB2 (Main Clicks): OP1w 4k v2: 10/10 | XM2w 4k v1: 10/10 | Razer Viper V3 Pro: 7/10 | Zowie U2-DW: 8/10 | Zowie S2-DW: 8/10 | Lamzu Inca: 8.5/10 | Scyrox V6: 9/10 | G Pro X Superlight: 6/10 | Pulsar X2 Crazylight: 8.5/10 | Pulsar X2H v3 mini: 6/10 | Razer Cobra Wired: 6/10 # Side Buttons: OP1w 4k v2: 8/10 | XM2w 4k v1: 9/10 | Razer Viper V3 Pro: 6.5/10 | Zowie U2-DW: 10/10 | Zowie S2-DW: 8/10 | Lamzu Inca: 7.5/10 | Scyrox V6: 6/10 | G Pro X Superlight: 2/10 (god awful) | Pulsar X2 Crazylight: 7.5/10 | Pulsar X2H v3 mini: 8/10 | Razer Cobra Wired: 5/10 # Scroll Wheel/Scroll Click: OP1w 4k v2: 8/10 | XM2w 4k v1: 8.5/10 | Razer Viper V3 Pro: 7/10 | Zowie U2-DW: 7/10| Zowie S2-DW: 7.5/10 | Lamzu Inca: 6/10 | Scyrox V6: 5/10 | G Pro X Superlight: 2/10 (god awful) | Pulsar X2 Crazylight: 10/10 | Pulsar X2H v3 mini: 10/10 | Razer Cobra Wired: 4/10 # Weight Density/Overall Weight Compared to Shape: OP1w 4k v2: 7/10 | XM2w 4k v1: 7.5/10 | Razer Viper V3 Pro: 9/10 | Zowie U2-DW: 8/10| Zowie S2-DW: 6/10 | Lamzu Inca: 10/10 | Scyrox V6: 10/10 | G Pro X Superlight: 7/10 | Pulsar X2 Crazylight: 10/10 ( too light for me but perfect for some) | Pulsar X2H v3 mini: 7/10 | Razer Cobra Wired: 6/10 # Stock Mouse Skates: OP1w 4k v2: 7/10 | XM2w 4k v1: 7.5/10 | Razer Viper V3 Pro: 9/10 | Zowie U2-DW: 10/10 | Zowie S2-DW: 9.5/10 | Lamzu Inca: 9/10 | Scyrox V6: 7/10 | G Pro X Superlight: 6/10 | Pulsar X2 Crazylight: 6.5/10 | Pulsar X2H v3 mini: 6.5/10 | Razer Cobra Wired: 6/10 # Software: OP1w 4k v2: 9/10 | XM2w 4k v1: 9/10 | Razer Viper V3 Pro: 3/10 (f\*ck Razer Synapse) | Zowie U2-DW: n/a | Zowie S2-DW: n/a | Lamzu Inca: 10/10 | Scyrox V6: 10/10 | G Pro X Superlight: 7/10 | Pulsar X2 Crazylight: 8/10 | Pulsar X2H v3 mini: 8/10 | Razer Cobra Wired: 3/10 (f\*ck Razer Synapse) If you made it to the end here thank you for reading!!! Basically learned a lot here and was fun but hope this can save you from making the same mistakes as me. Also there is no perfect mouse shape but I've learned you can definitely get really close to finding the right shape for you! Definitely highly recommend Lamzu and Scyrox mice, think they offer great build quality, shapes, performance, and overall value. FWIW it could be due to the great weight balance and shapes of the Lamzu Inca and Scyrox V6 but I truly feel like I am performing my best in-game and in Kovvaks using their PAW3950 sensor implementations and Omron optical switches. Every sensor was perfectly fine on all these mice reviewed with no issues. However, there does seem to be something so responsive about the Lamzu and Scyrox sensors to me.\\ Have to give huge props to Zowie though for coming up with so many of these iconic mouse shapes and also the DW series from Zowie felt the most premium of all of these options (their price reflects this though). If you love a particular Zowie shape they offer in the DW series and want a mouse that will last you forever I would say they are 100 percent worth the premium price. They feel like they could survive an explosion and the sensors felt super responsive. The click latency is slower on paper than all these other options but once again felt impossible for my Valorant Gold player skill-level to comprehend any difference in latency to the Endgame Gear OP1 or XM2 that lead the market in terms of click latency.

I would not recommend buying the white version. The side rubber parts will get yellow in short time. I bought it on Amazon and even returned it once. Same results on both. Same also with the Cobra. And I am not the only one. Everything else besides Synapse worked really good for me.

Razer the dav2 mini, rvm, Dav3 wired and cobra wired, I had to rma my rvm 7 times knowing it uses a shit encoder my last razer mice are the cobra and dav3 and the quality improved a lot. Endgame gear op1 and zowie are the same they're sturdy but I'll give zowie an upper hand because they use an optical scroll wheel encoder.

Game: Overwatch 2, gonna be doing a replay of the borderlands games again tho, single player but still fun to aim in Mouse: Razer Cobra, it somehow developed a crack near the base after a year and a half (i don't even death grip...) but I haven't found a shape i like more than it. Trying the Atk f1 extreme soon and if that doesn't unseat it, well, I'm just gonna wait for razer to do some kinda mini viper or a cobra wireless that isn't a dense little boulder and just get another cobra if this one bites the dust in the meantime. Keyboard: Melgeek made 84 pro with geon raw 40g. One of the few non woootings I'm willing to use because melgeeks web app is actually pretty solid. Wootility is better but not a dealbreaking amount so.  Pad: Artisan Raiden mid and xraypad Equate plus v2 custom

I’ve had nothing but problems with this mouse. The scroll wheel became unreliable shortly after purchase, and even after troubleshooting, it’s still basically useless. Trying to uninstall Razer’s software was another headache—it’s nearly impossible to remove completely from my computer. Looking through other reviews, I can see I’m not alone—many users report the same issues with the wheel and the bloated software. For the price, this mouse is a huge disappointment.

used razer deathadder elite for years and now using razer cobra, new deathadders seem good in shape and sizes. Look at RocketJumpNinja's website and yt videos to search for mouse he says the smaller the better but not too small to make your hand hurt after using it.

If you have a smaller hand size the Cobra is a really comfortable mouse for productivity and gaming. I daily the Viper Mini SE and they are very close in size and shape. If I didn’t have the mini I would still be using a cobra!

Worse feeling when aiming compared to viper mini, clicks are worse and new designed ridges can be felt. Shape feels different slightly. If they just made rvm with lower button height and wireless/8k wired light weight it would’ve been nice

Mouse selection depends heavily on your preference like mouse shape and weight. If you need wireless then look at the Razer deathadder V3, Viper V3 Pro or the Logitech G Pro X Superlight. If you are okay with wired mice then you have a lot of options under 100 usd. The absolute bang for your buck wired mice if you have small hands is the Razer viper mini but it's discontinued now so you might need to hunt around. It's replacement the Razer cobra is also decent albeit a bit heavier.

A G304 has more double click issues than VXE R1, even though Logitech is largest peripheral brand and VXE is a.. let's just say new brand. If u want a trusted and mainstream brand mouse, go for the razer cobra. Same easy warranty like Logitech and optical switches which never double click. *** And other standard mice to get in this price range are Ducky Feather B&W, EVGA X12 but these along with the cobra are all wired. If u want wireless: ATK A9, RK M30, VXE R1 SE+ would be my reccs.

I have 19x10 hands and i use a relaxed claw as well. I tried the xm2 8k and returned it after a couple of days because it was a horrible shape for me. It is so wide that my hand hurt after a few mins of playing. Maybe i was holding it wrong or i am just not used to larger mice because i mained a smaller and narrower mouse (Razer cobra).

I am also looking for a new mouse as my Cobra just broke. All the mice ive used in the past (including Cobra) were bought because of the price, not because of fit or specs. The Cobra shape is what I am used to right now and it feels great for me, but i dont recommend the mouse itself as it is cheap and outdated, and Razer has the worst software for any product I have ever used. So far while looking for a new mouse, ive tried the Orochi V2 and XM2 8k. I ordered a X2H mini, VV3 Pro, and OP1 8k which will be all be delivered in a couple days. I can keep you updated on how they feel

Uhhhh Budget was mentioned nowhere all you asked was a good mice so I mentioned and forget sentinels edition normal V3 pro was available for 8k-9k on elitehubs like it was available earlier idk whether its available now or not.. and viper v3 pro is better lookin and better functioning mouse then superlight xd..🙂 collab models are on next level.. I am not saying superlight is bad but v3 pro is better... And If you really wanna upgrade from G102 I would suggest sticking to a wired mouse rather than going all wireless cause If you are tight on budget Ill be honest there are no good wireless gaming mouse on budget they lack some or the other thing.. And Good Wireless gaming mouse and Budget is something that I'll never use in a Same sentence.. Like still If you really wanna go wireless then Check logitech G304 or attack shark mouse and for wired - G502 Hero its best overall bit on heavier side but its a good mouse for games like FN. If you like RGBS - Basilisk V3 is best bet If you want a light weight Esports mouse Razer cobra is good.. Imidiate Upgrade from G102 - G203 not upgrade but still its good All these I have used personally.. Good Day..😊😊

Never buy lightsync. My prodigy mice lasted way longer than the 2 lightsyncs, double clicks within 7-8 months each. If you can increase budget, try getting Razer cobra, which is light. The company sucks, but their mice don't get double clicks. If weight isn't an issue, Deathadder is fine.

It looks okay to me, but it's up to you, but you can probably become accustomed to it. One thing I might recommend is the Cobra. I went from a Deathadder to the Cobra recently and while the Cobra is notably smaller, the form factor is very similar. I usually get a bit of hand pain when I change ergonomics of a mouse, but there was none here. So having said that, the Cobra is smaller and might be a better fit for your hand size. I've only had mine for a few weeks, but it's performed great for me so far.

Go for razer cobra. It is basically a budget viper. It is wired but extremely light(mine is around 55g) and responsive. It is a killer for valo, CS2 and other fps games.

Yeah it's lightweight, has a better sensor, has better RGB, and optical switches which last longer than mechanical ones. So it would definitely be an upgrade. Based on the average pricing of the last 3 months which is ₹3,190 it is at a really good price currently.

it depends on grip type, hand size, and weight preferences. I use the deathadder V3 Pro, because I prefer a larger mouse, and lightweight as well. The Deathadder is good for large hands, and able to use both claw and palm grip plus it's lightweight. But if you prefer more comfort and grip, even though the weight a bit heavier go for the Basilisk. Can't go wrong with the Basilisk, it is great for daily, and gaming use as well.. The Cobra is fine... if you have like smaller hands, or mostly use claw-grip.

I use the same mouse for work and a Razer Cobra for gaming. The difference i feel is monumental to say the lest with better grip, ergonomics, smoothness and a sense of higher accuracy over all. It even feels a lot sturdier too. Go for it if that's not too much of a money to shell out for you

r/mousereview might be able to help but there's a lot of enthusiasts there that might recommend niche mice that may or may not be a good fit. You could also check out https://www.rtings.com/mouse for some more mainstream focused recommendations and reviews. Come up with a budget and decide whether you want wired/wireless. Some personal recommendations, though I hate charging so I'm biased towards wires. Wired * Razer Cobra [cheap, small] * Razer Deathadder V3 wired [large ergonomic] * Endgame Gear OP1 8k [small, top of the line performance] * Endgame Gear XM2 8k [larger than the op1, top of the line performance, potential scroll wheel issues?] Wireless * Razer Viper V2 pro [cheaper than the V3, neutral shape] * Razer Viper V3 pro [expensive, neutral shape] * Razer Deathadder V3 pro [expensive, large ergonomic] If you get something cheaper, you could take the extra and grab a decent mousepad if he doesn't have one already, ~15-35ish dollar range for solid options. Arguably just as important as the mouse. I'm a fan of the ESPTIGER mousepads on amazon that sometimes go on sale for 15 bucks, lethal.gg has a lot of good options too.

If your budget can still be at 60$ CAD below you should try out razer cobra (if you want lightweight mouse good for FPS) or G203 logitech (if u have a big hand and ur a palm gripper) though these guys are wired, not sure if you like em wired cause im a big fan of wired (not wireless cause they always have issues and charging is annoying for me)

np, logitech g203 doesnt have a double click problem, not sure what logitech models ur talking about though. if i were to rate cobra and the g203 they have the same feel (in my opinion) because I'm really not meticulous in gaming mouse specs. the only qualm I have with g203 is how it fits to my hand and thats why i chose cobra over g203 (also i play fps alot and lightweight mice gives me 100% control of my aim). so basically the only difference from the two is the sizing and the wiring. cobra's wire is much better than g203 since it isnt rubber, idk how to describe it but its the type of wire to not get scratched easily. make sure to check cobra from time to time cause i bought mine at 40 cad$ instead of 60

Amazon has an easy return policy so I used it to try several mice, headphones and keyboards as I spent days researching the best ones. I don't *want* to be always using Razer since I have a white setup and they seldom release equally good UK accessories, but everything I get from them just works very well. Their blackshark V2 pro wireless headphone was pricey but I couldn't find a single other headphone that felt as light and comfortable over hours of using a PC, especially for my large head. Their viper v3 pro or any similar ones like the DeathAdder v3 pro or cobra, all feel ergonomically comfortable and lighter than any I've tried before, and their deathstalker keyboards have always been the best for me. They had a mercury pro keyboard too which was very good but it got double key issues which is such a shame, found nothing like it. I don't think people are wrong about the quality drop, some things like the keyboards I tried just die eventually, but otherwise some things like the headphones have lasted over 2 years, and I hate that I'll have to spend so much again for another if this breaks down.

I second this. I have a Razor mouse (I can't remember the model offhand - something named after a snake tho). The ability to set the mouse wheel to "free run" with a single button click makes a huge difference when moving cargo around.
