"Both the wheel and the cable died under 3 months wtf."

"The mouse in the picture has a bump on the left rear side, similar to my Razer DeathAdder. ... When I switch back to the DeathAdder from a smaller mouse R1, that bump presses against my thenar eminence. ... My hand is 17 cm long, which might be a bit too small for this mouse."
My 2007 Razer Deathadder died withing 2 weeks. Also had weird sensor bugs.

I still have an original death adder in the box I picked up from a thrift store for $5 bucks. I know its not worth anything, but it was one of my first gaming mouses and having one still looking like the day I brought it home is kinda cool.
My deathadder from 2011 just died last year tbh. I ended up buying the v2 and it fits in my palm almost the exact same way as the original did so I didn't have to relearn the feeling which is great.

I use a Death Adder V.2 but I actually prefer the V.1
I prefer the V.1 because it's front is more flared
I've tried the one OP posted and could never get used to it. The old base model razer death adder will always be my go to. It just fits my hand exactly how I want it to and has everything I consider mandatory for a mouse. My biggest issue was the software until I learned I can control the LEDs with a much less invasive third party app, so now it's perfect.
This is closer to my experience too. I had this same double clicking issue which actually I temporarily fixed by glueing a bit of plastic in. It happened because the plastic pole that actually hits the button wears down and so I got like another year out of it by doing a jank fix. But I easily got 5+ years out of it. And I feel like it was actually a few more years than that but I don't remember well. And now my v2 is probably 2 years old and apart from wear on the rubber side grip is basically still brand new. And the side grip wear was my fault, it's not normal wear. I used something to clean it that I shouldn't have that reacted with it and melted the grip material
That's crazy I got 5+ from my first one until it had this very issue and then it must be coming up 2 years now on my v2. And it still looks and feels basically brand new. I'd be kind of upset if I only got 2 years out of it I think. I'm cheap though

I'm thinking if you position your hand differently, it might be more comfortable. Your hands look to be about the same as the size of mine, but I hold the mouse a lot different than you do. I have the mouse in the palm of my hand so the weight of my hand is resting on it and I bend my fingers. I've never found it to be uncomfortable or had any issues with it. I've had two Razer mouses. One looks almost identical to the one that's in the background of your photos. Mine was a DeathAdder v1. I use a Logitech G502 now that's basically the same size. I've found all of them to be comfortable.
me with 21 / 12 the only one i could find big enough and comfortable is the Delux m618plus a825. build quality is kinda ruff, but RGB is good and comfort is out of this world. From normal mouses the thermaltake level 10, razer deathadder (first edition), razer gladius 2 origin and the absolute top is the R.A.T 8+ (absolute shit when it comes to quality, mouse 4 died after 100 clicks)
+ the rubber pad below the thumb buttons fell off on my da v1. They improved it with the v2 by just blending from the plastic into rubber on the location, instead of glueing a pad on. But due to wear and tear the rubber became less and less, and to fic it you'd have to change the whole housing. On the v3&4 they made the rubber completely optional buy just adding grip tapes to the package (best way imo)
