"The mouse in the picture has a bump on the left rear side, similar to my Razer DeathAdder. ... When I switch back to the DeathAdder from a smaller mouse R1, that bump presses against my thenar eminence. ... My hand is 17 cm long, which might be a bit too small for this mouse."
I'm still on the Wired Razer Deathadder Elite, I've thought about upgrading for years since so many updated versions have come out since, V2, V3 Pro & now V4 Pro. what always stopped me from upgrading was they changed the shape, and I am very used of the old Deathadder design. Wireless does seem like it would be cool. but wired has never seemed to bother me with a mouse bungee.
Razer Deathadder Elite. 8 years. Mousewheel works really badly because of dust and similar, but you could open it up and try to clean it in some way, that's how i did when i had problems with my left click.
My Deathadder Elite from 2018 is still going strong. When it dies, I’m getting another Deathadder.

Anyone who recommends anything but the Razer Deathadder is wrong.
Recently had to replace the scroll sensor on my DA Elite. 4 bucks on AliExpress and works like a charm again.

I've had my Deathadder elite for 6 years and it's still fine. It did lose the rubber thingies to the side though.

Relaxed grip with V6 and loving it I came from a razer deathratle elite
Bought an op1w 4k v2 after not really liking the superlight plus it was so loud and such a heavy click. My new mouse is just perfection a little smaller but i claw grip and it works surprisingly well on my large hands. There can’t be a best mouse because each mouse caters to individual needs and use case. I used to use a death adder elite which at the time considered it the best mouse. Usually 2 things are the deciding factor in modern mice shape which is king and weight. Everything else even polling rate is subjective.
hey u/Marchie007 what did you end up buying? I've just 'repaired' Razer Deathadder Elite with superglue but I know it's not going to last forever and being the THIRD Razer with a jumping scrollwheel, I'm hesitant to get a new one. Also, I kind of want a mouse with free-scroll but if I can't find the right model with it, I'll compromise and pick what's best for me.
my deathaddr elite failed around a year with that issue, i replaced the buttons and it works fine for years

I used to have a Razer DeathAdder Elite, which I loved, but over time, it developed double click issues. A year or two ago, my brother (also a major gamer like myself) got me a Razer Naga Trinity as a Christmas present when he got me for our sibling grab bag, and it's worked wonders too. However, as of late, it has given issues with random flicks and stopping held left clicks, which is a major problem when I am playing shooter games (specifically Marvel Rivals) and therefore trying to be precise. After having waaaay more random flicks while trying to play tonight (and the random flicks getting more frequent over all lately), I decided it's time I finally bite the bullet and get a new mouse. I want my new mouse to be Razer as well so I can use Razer Synapse to sync the lights with my Razer Huntsman Elite keyboard. I don't really care about whether I have side buttons or not (didn't end up using them on my Naga Trinity). I want to make sure it lasts long with regular use playing Rivals and also works well for the occasional MMO. Palm grip user here as well if that helps. Biggest requirement is WIRED ONLY! I hate having to charge controllers and mice, cause my memory is garbo and I forget to do so a lot. All recommendations and reasons for them would be awesome!!
