Razer Deathadder Elite. 8 years.
Mousewheel works really badly because of dust and similar, but you could open it up and try to clean it in some way, that's how i did when i had problems with my left click.
I used to have a Razer DeathAdder Elite, which I loved, but over time, it developed double click issues. A year or two ago, my brother (also a major gamer like myself) got me a Razer Naga Trinity as a Christmas present when he got me for our sibling grab bag, and it's worked wonders too. However, as of late, it has given issues with random flicks and stopping held left clicks, which is a major problem when I am playing shooter games (specifically Marvel Rivals) and therefore trying to be precise. After having waaaay more random flicks while trying to play tonight (and the random flicks getting more frequent over all lately), I decided it's time I finally bite the bullet and get a new mouse.
I want my new mouse to be Razer as well so I can use Razer Synapse to sync the lights with my Razer Huntsman Elite keyboard. I don't really care about whether I have side buttons or not (didn't end up using them on my Naga Trinity). I want to make sure it lasts long with regular use playing Rivals and also works well for the occasional MMO.
Palm grip user here as well if that helps. Biggest requirement is WIRED ONLY! I hate having to charge controllers and mice, cause my memory is garbo and I forget to do so a lot.
All recommendations and reasons for them would be awesome!!
My old Deathadder Elite took 4 years of intensive Minecraft PVP butterfly clicking for the right click to start having issues. The RMB would release when held. It never double clicked, though.
I like my G502 from Logitech. But prior to that I used a esports branded Razer DeathAdder Elite for a long while. I liked the Deathadder because it was a s-medium'ish sized mouse and it was simple, no extra buttons from what I can remember but I used that until the buttons pretty much gave out.
The G502 both wired and wireless are my daily drivers now for my gaming PC and my remote work setup though I was an early adopter to this one and the ergonomics are just slightly different from more recently manufactured version I think?
I've been thinking about spoiling myself on a new keyboard and mouse as well but just don't really know what to look at or go and get a feel for so I'm in a similar boat, would love to see what other people are suggesting. I definitely use a claw grip with my mice and prefer textured LMB/RMB for some reason if possible - I ended up putting some textured vinyl wrap on my LMB/RMB on my G502 I use for my personal gaming pc.

I personally use a wired G502 for my personal gaming pc and has been my daily driver since I retired a SKT T1 branded Deathadder Elite, I don't recall what weights I put in it honestly, I probably maxed it out at some point. My GF tells me playing on my pc and using my mouse setup is insane due to how high I like my DPI compared to her home setup.
/shrug/ That's just how I grew up and got accustomed to barely flicking my wrist to do full 360\~ movement in games.
There's a whole modding community apparently for the G502 and I wish the MB were textured - otherwise I'll probably use this until it isn't manufactured anymore as I'm not educated enough to know or look for something that "feels" better.
That's interesting! I wonder if there is something similar for my deathadder elite? I always wondered if I could just do a shell swap on a barebeones one and reuse my shell to be honest.
as for the G502, I added some textured vinyl to it after some small cuts on a sheet to give my fingers a "textured" feel for those LMB/RMB clicks.
