"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"
"Like 500$ these robots are currently the steal of the century ... You can get a mova p10 pro ultra (cannot remove its mops), equivalent to the l40/x40 for 500$ after a discount code"
"I got the Q5 Pro for $139. ... costs $450 less than what I paid for the S6 ... it is the best value option out there imo."

"when hardwired with their power kit the parking mode never misses a motion event."
"We have four roborock S7’s running in our 5,000 sqft office. ... Bought them since they first came out years ago. ... They run every day. ... Only last year did we replace the battery for all 4. ... Other than that, no issue at all, rock solid, very pleased that we also have them for our homes too."
"My Roborock S7 does about 2,000 sqft twice a week since 2021, and it's still going strong"

"after shifting to deathadder 59g feel much better."
"I love how light this thing Is you can flick it to next week! ... it's only 59g, so it's super light ... at first it was weird and I didn't lime it but it soon swooned me and I can't even use another mouse they're too heavy haha."
"Light and responsive for my stiffening fingers."

"The Warranty period is 2 years, but unfortunately, I now need to ship it to the US on my own. ... They will check and get back to me in the fullness of time. This will, of course, never happen and I have no recourse."
"Hello I overlooked your message that avro will not provide warranty for this? Please let me know why. This mouse cover has a acro import sticker and easyshoppi is supposedly authorised seller too then why"
"Three months later, one earbud stopped working."

"My first one turn up. I plugged in the subwoofer to mains for the first time, I heard a bang and it was dead. I was pissed."
"all of them developed a double click problem (i play alot of games that require alot of clicking)"
"it died shamefully in the middle of a game ... from my experience Razer is not reliable."

"The mouse in the picture has a bump on the left rear side, similar to my Razer DeathAdder. ... When I switch back to the DeathAdder from a smaller mouse R1, that bump presses against my thenar eminence. ... My hand is 17 cm long, which might be a bit too small for this mouse."

"Some of these have Web based software also which imo is vastly better than razers Synaps and Logitechs GHub."
It's an asymetrical right hand shape, people usually call it an ergo mouse, though it's not truly one, just fits snuggly. If you like the shape, I would just get a newer iteration. The V2 has the same shape, updated sensor and no double clicking due to optical switches, though you can only find this one used. V3 has a bit different shape (still DeathAdder just less grooves), no RGB, lighter weight, again updated sensor (with up to 8K polling) and better switches with even lower latency. Both has HyperSpeed or Pro variants if you want wireless.
DAv2 and Pulsefire Haste has internal memory and doesn't require running the software. I assume the rest of time lineup does the same now. Only thing the DA forgets is RGB.
I got the DAv2 used last year, it was in use since 2021 and still has no issues except for the rubber coating getting worn on the side but I added grip tape and replaced the skates. The Haste I bought 3 years ago, used it for 1.5 years as daily and now serves as my travel mouse, still no issue. Only mouse that sort of died on me was a Razer Taipan last year, but it was over 10 years old already and I got it used in 2019. The sensor stopped registering, the buttons and light still work. I sold a DAv2 Mini 3 years ago to a friend, still uses it as his daily. Maybe I'm just getting lucky, but the condition I see some mice in online makes me wonder if it's just people being stupid with their gear, throwing it around and smacking it out of rage.

Considering my most expensive mouse was a used DAv2 for 27$, it wouldn't cross my mind. They are crazy expensive for what they are, which is why I started looking at knockoffs from AliExpress.
all you need is two additional side buttons. deathadder v2 mini is good start or if you want something bright colour looking razer cobra pokémon edition. look it up :)
That is a good and long service time. It is repairable, pending. Sometimes it is the switch, sometimes it is something else that is worn. 12 Years are remarkable. The double-click issue is why I gave up on Logitech mice. Yet, it only plagues their premium mice. That said, it has now been two years since I have moved on to another brand. I don't know whether things have improved. I do have a Razer that I carry around. Not wireless, but I have a Deathadder Mini which is in my bag. Happy clicks.

>But to pretend they're the same quality as a bigger brand is just copium. I mean there is nothing else like the X2 Crazylight from the higher-end brands so what else am I going to buy?? Razer is refusing to make high-end version of their mini mice, so if we were to compare the wired Viper Mini to the X2 Crazylight, the X2 has better quality outright. I used to own the Viper Mini SE (the magnesium shell) and it broke within a couple of days since one of the shell strut just snapped, my review even got mentioned in a GamersNexus video back in the day about the downsides of magnesium mice. It also has huge friggin holes, small scratchy feet, crap raesha switches, fingerprint magnet coating, and it's heavier overall. I really don't see why the X2 Crazylight is not considered the superior product over the Viper Mini, let alone the Viper Mini SE or the Cobra. Don't even get me started with the Xlite Crazylight compared to their wired Deathadder Mini and DAv3 hyperspeed. I have both on my table right now and the DAv3 HS has started to creak and the top layer coating on the thumb area is beginning to peel, revealing the bare plastic underneath the rubberised coating. My Xlite V3 Mini is still solid and the Xlite Crazylight is somehow more solid than the Xlite V3 and DAv3 HS despite being much lighter (also no more raesha switches). So... X2 Crazylight >Viper Mini / Viper Mini SE / Viper Cobra Xlite Crazylight > Xlite V3 Mini > DA Mini / DAv3 HS
Oh, man, I totally had one of those. My first "good" mouse. I would take it to work every day, and my boss told me they had trouble following my cursor on the screen recordings because I was so fast (that may or may not have also been due, in part, to my ample use of keyboard shortcuts that I'm sure they didn't know existed). I did hate that it didn't have on-board memory, so I had to use default DPI (1800 or something) on work computers, since I wasn't allowed to install the software. In hindsight, Razer does shady things with their stuff now, so I probably shouldn't have been using that mouse on work computers to begin with, honestly. DA V2 Mini I got a while back can just *write to the C: drive* without any permissions or prompting, and drops a Razer folder in there, starts a software install, and sets up the installer with settings that are the most intrusive possible. Still... Played so many awesome games with it. Used it on my first full PC build (was using some garbage Gateway laptop before that). My setup was glorious. I regret getting rid of my CRTs. Every day I regret it. Not sure I remember what happened to the mouse. Click broke or something. If it happened now, I could fix it. Mice I have now are definitely better in various ways. Good times, though.

My deathadder v2 mini is 5 year old now and does not show any signs of double clicking or anything abnormal even with daily use. Even if the switches will surrender i will just replace them and use it, because its nice in hand. I can't grab normal sized mouse anymore haha.
I cant grip any other mouse than deathadder v2 mini ma hand is so used to its shape that I simply cannot use other mice haha. I bought it at release and its still going strong.
Small ergo you can palm ot because you have small hands and also fingertip it's lightweight and nimble ergo like the dav2 mini.
Most welcome. mmm...what is your most desired grip style - claw or palm? And also what games do you normally play - FPS or MOBA? For ambi, I would go for a formfactor like the Pulsar X2H. For ergo, the OG formfactor of the DA essential, or the DA v2 mini for smaller hands, or the G403 shape. I use both ambi and ergo. Matter of fact, I recently got an old school DA v2 mini for cheap, almost forgotten how awesome that ergo shape felt.
They're the same family shape, but not identical. The V4 Pro keeps the classic right-hand DeathAdder silhouette (so it won't be a tiny mouse), but it's been slimmed and lightened compared with the old Expert/Elite. The Expert/Elite is a true full-size chunk (about 127×70×44 mm and ~105 g), while the V4 Pro keeps the same overall ergonomics with a slightly narrower/lower profile and a much lighter build (at around 63 mm grip width / ~56–59 g). If the Expert already feels too big and uncontrolled, the V4 Pro might feel a bit more manageable thanks to being narrower and lighter, but it will still feel like a full-size DeathAdder.... So if you want a clearly smaller, more controllable mouse look at the DeathAdder V2 Mini (much shorter/narrower) or something like the Logitech G Pro X Superlight (shorter & narrower profile) instead.
