My first was either this one as well or the 3G. I still have an order confirmation from 2009 for the 3G Frost Blue, but I think I got one as a gift before then.

I only heard of the Intellimouse from a friend, after they stopped being produced. He said it's the best mouse for CS pros and stuff like that. I think I just bought a new Diamondback 3G.

My razer diamondback 3g is still going strong. Coming up for 18 years in use and working perfectly!

Hey I had a Diamondback from 2006 that lasted me until 2019. After all the non-slip rubberized coating wore off, I put car wax on it. Now I've got a Basilisk V3 pro

For me it's definitely the Steelseries Rival 300. I tried different mice over the years but every time I went back to the rival. I really love the shape and I wish some Chinese brand would make a clone. Honorable mention is the Razer Diamondback.

Sensors back then weren't as good as they are now but when it comes to shapes. Creative Fatality 1010, Razer Diamondback, Razer Copperhead, Logitech MX518, Steelseries Kinzu, Steelseries Xai.

Dude, I still use an ~20yr old diamondback with zero issues, but my new naga rmb switch broke right after warranty ended, go figure… Not planning on buying another Razer product, the new stuff isn’t built to last. I switched to rog so I can swap out the switches if one goes, working ok so far.

I love my Zowie EC1-CW. It's simple. There is a "better" sensor out, but I have dozens of mouses, and I dont know why for me it's got my favorite sensor. I think I lift the mouse up a little as I mouse around, and this one seems to track just right for my usage. It's got a good latency, it's plain and comfortable. You don't need drivers (it's got hardware buttons for everything on the bottom). The charging, wireless, and corded mode's all work good. I'm kind of a mouse collector and I literally have a box filled with mouses. I still have my first razer boomslang and diamondback (diamond back still one of my favorite mice of all time although I grew out of that grip style I use it from time to time).

Depends on what you mean with gaming mouse I guess. I used several versions and iterations of the Microsoft classics 3.0 and 1.1 :) First one from a gaming brand was Razer Diamondback if I'm not mistaken.
