Hello, I'm looking to buy a new mouse and I'm still hesitating between few models. I'm currently using a Razer Mamba Elite with a palm grip and I'm very satisfied with the shape. After some research, I found that I should look into the ergo mouse, which I did, and I found 2 recents models that seems to stand out for my criterias : The ATK Z1 V2 Ultimate & the ATK Y9 Ultimate. Both seems to be in the same price range (\~60€), are pretty new, seems to fit in size and shape, and made for palm grip. I'm open trying an hybrid palm/ claw grip, but want to be sure I can go back to Palm if it doesn't works for me. Can you help me choosing ? Since both of them are new, I can't find much review about it. If you have other recommendations other than those 2, be free leaving a comments and your impressions about it. Thanks in advance for your help :)
mamba elite is so goated, build to last, i literally throw like 3 times and the mouse have no issue, literally 0, the mouse have 5 years right now xD, shame razer didnt update this mouse.
As much as I really like my Basilisk V3 I will say it feels a bit small in my hands My Razer Mamba Elite finally died, so I bought the Basilisk V3 cause it has the fast-change DPI buttons like the Mamba Elite , but it was on sale at Amazon for much less money I wear XL gloves (for reference) and the mouse still feels small even after many months of use You may want to go to a store and try out various models unless you don’t have gigantic hands then you’re probably fine lol
Play the game and learn organically. It is after all just a game. I think you do have a few misconceptions though. Overwatch isn't really an "FPS" game, it's a team-based shooter, so yes you can play Widow but if you are just getting dived on and killed by the enemy team (until you learn how to play her), then you are hurting your team. Then again, you only learn by playing a hero. So it's about finding a happy balance. If you really want to learn Widow maybe start a match with her, but assess your stats 5-minutes into the match. Are you doing well and helping? Keep playing her! Are you leading the team in deaths and have under 1k damage? Probably try something else out (some hero that might better counter the other team), and try Widow again on the next match/map. Hanzo isn't a "stealth-based" hero just because he uses bows, and I'm not sure why you've made this determination. Really the only hero that might qualify as a "stealth" hero would be Sombra, because she can literally turn invisible. As for playing Hanzo, really it comes down to the same approach with Widow. Assess your stats 5-minutes into the match. Are you helping? Great, keep going. Are you costing your team fights and the match? Probably change things up and pick another DPS that might work better vs the enemy team's comp. Also I've noticed you just called out DPS. Are you not interested in healing or tanking at all? You learn the most about the game overall by trying heroes in every role. You don't need to be grandmaster at each role or anything, but having a good go-to hero for each role is good, so you can fill the needs of your team (maybe your team needs a tank, maybe your team needs a healer). Also by playing every role, and by playing more heroes you'll learn more about who counters who, and the dynamics of each role. Having a good mouse is pretty key. Something lightweight, wired, that feels good in your hand. Personally I like Razer Mamba Elite, but finding the right mouse is deeply personal. Anyways, it's ultimately just a game. But it is a team game. Play who you want, and you only get better on heroes by playing that hero and learning how to use them in every situation. However, you'll go much further in OW by being honest with yourself. You might want to learn to play Widow/Hanzo/only DPS.... but you need to assess if you're actually helping or not.
My razor mamba tournament edition started double clicking randomly after 8 years. Lived with it for a year and then replaced it with the razer mamba elite which is identical because I didn't want to get used to holding a different mouse. I also have a dodgy shift key on my razer deathstalker chroma keyboard but I can't find a keyboard anywhere like it so I've bought the same one again but second hand as I couldn't find new ones since they're discontinued to replace this one with when I eventually can't put up with the shift randomly cutting out, makes me suddenly start walking when I'm trying to run in games and then I die.

Sorry that your mouse has finally made it's way to Valhalla op. I've had my Mamba Elite since they came out. While I've had to clean up and re-adhere the rubber, side grips/pads , it's still going strong. I've seen some recent blurbs here and there about issues with Razer products/software recently, but I've loved my KB, mouse and headphones from them. They are great products that continue to perform well even after a decade+ of frequent use.
