I have the black mamba tournament edition. I think it's 12 years old at this point? Still works perfectly.

As a person who moved from Mamba TE to Basilisk V3, I’d suggest checking the mambas. They are about as long as Deathadders, but wider. Maybe that’ll help
I got my mamba TE about 10 years ago. So far only the wheel died, had to resolder a new sensor (which made me question the assembly quality a bit). The wheel click is a hit or miss, but I’ve remapped one of the DPI buttons for that

First actual gaming mouse was a Razer Mamba TE. First gaming-like mouse was the E-Blue Mazer II. Or Redragon M601. They're both bad, so they're both the first in my heart.
Some years ago I got Razer Mamba tournament edition as a gift buying Black widow keyboard and it starts doing double clicking on RMB right after year of use. I used it for every day gamedev routine, not for heavy nervous game sessions. I was wandered about quality of razer mouse switchers because had a lot of Logitech mise working fine for years. I am just bought and resoldered Kailh microswitcher and had no problems with that mouse since then. It was 2-3$ fix, mouse still in use 7 years after. Now I am constantly using Razer Naga v2 pro wireless, bought it two years ago and few days ago faced with MMB problems. It can't hold MMB now. I use lot of CAD, 3d software and use MMB for navigation. Now I am just reassigned MMB to another free button and think to fix another Razer mouse. The point of my massage: Razer has pretty shitty mouse switchers but U can easily fix it by yourself for few bucks.
Oh my bad I thought you meant a price that is similar to the deathadder. I hate to say this but I would not buy it. If I remember correctly I had owned an Orochi v2, Mamba TE and 2 Deathadders ( I think its the older one) but basically my experience with Razer was bad and they end up having issues within 6 months so I would not want you to deal with that experience as well. I did hear their newer higher end mice have good build quality but those are a lot more than $50 so yeah. I guess you just have to wait and see if anyone else comments and has a good recommendation since you said you already checked eloshapes and didn't find something good yet. I would say from what I have been noticing recently, your best bet is probably going to be an aliexpress mouse lol I heard the quality is not even bad either (which makes sense since almost all mice are made in China now). Good luck!
My razor mamba tournament edition started double clicking randomly after 8 years. Lived with it for a year and then replaced it with the razer mamba elite which is identical because I didn't want to get used to holding a different mouse. I also have a dodgy shift key on my razer deathstalker chroma keyboard but I can't find a keyboard anywhere like it so I've bought the same one again but second hand as I couldn't find new ones since they're discontinued to replace this one with when I eventually can't put up with the shift randomly cutting out, makes me suddenly start walking when I'm trying to run in games and then I die.

I'm look for recommendations for a wireless mouse. About me: * 19cm x 10 cm hand * right handed * mainly fingertip grip (90%), but sometimes palm (10%) * only used Razer mice before (ignoring the $10 Walmart crap), but not committed to the brand. I've used: 1. Deathadder v1 wired: liked a lot, it was my first gaming mouse 2. Mamba tournament: hated. Sensor stopped working for 3-5 seconds randomly after a few months. Only reason I didn't demand a refund was because it was a gift 3. Viper Ultimate (VU): love the feel of it and the extra buttons on the right side to switch profiles are nice-to-have. I **hate that I can only use the original usb b cable** to charge it. Side grips started melting after a couple months of heavy use, I don't hand sweat though much, so idk why, but I bought some aftermarket grips to help. Requirements in priority order: 1. Wireless, Bluetooth is a nice-to-have 2. Can use macros. I have a macro in Razer Synapse to rapidly right-click 50x/sec 3. 2 customizable side buttons (see point 2). More is fine, less is not. 4. Uses AA batteries or has a USB C. I'm trying to adopt 1 cable for everything. AA is nice for quick battery swap, but either is fine 5. Shell design: No sharp/edgy mice (G502), no mesh shells! I want an easy to clean mouse! 6. Durable/all plastic grip: see my Viper review above 7. Battery life: applies to USB C mice only, I can replace AAs easily. 8. Lighter weight preferred, but no strict requirements, it can be a little heavier than the VU I currently have Don't care as long as it's not crap: * click feel * glide * price * color * polling rate * RGB: I'll turn it off anyways Currently considering the Viper V3 HyperSpeed, but I have researched anything else yet, which why I'm defaulting to another Viper.
I bought my Razer Mamba TE in 8th grade and gone through my high school diploma, apprenticeship and full emloyment and it went broke last year. I will always remember
