I really feel like people are way too hard on their mice. my first naga (The 2014 edition that I got on release) lasted me for 8 years and I only swapped it out because I lost it during a move. the one im currently using (The V2 classic) has been going strong since then. none of them ever broke, no chips, nothing. Their keyboards on the other hand are not great. Either that or maybe the manufacturing facility? nut ive never once had any issue with any of their mice. not a single time.

It might be an easily replaceable part. I bought a part that makes the mouse wheel scroll again for $3. Was a very simple and easy replacement. This was on the Razer Naga Chroma, and my 2016, I think Razer Naga as well. The plain corded green one.

I also went from 2013 to Trinity after wanting more DPI many years ago, and it's still going good with no problems. I think every mouse will have bad batches, regardless of the company, but I've been using Razer mice for almost 20 years now and have had great experiences - would always recommend them. I wouldn't buy anything else from Razer, personally, as Mice are their original product and I trust them for that.
I have a naga trinity and still used it today, used it for 7 years and its still going strong surprisingly, before that i used a 2013 naga until i changed it to my trinity 7 years ago, only problem with the 2013 was the scroll button, the only problem ive had with the trinity was sometime it wont read the modular plate and its gotta be cleaned
I had two Nagas. My first one was the first edition Naga and that one lasted a looong time. It actually still worked when I bought the new 2014 version, which started double clicking a year later. Switched to Corsair and Logitech and never looking back (for mice at least).

I can't say for sure if the mouse I have is good for overall gaming as I was heavy in MMO titles. I have my corded Razor Naga from 2014 and I just brought a razor naga v2 wireless. I'm a fan of the small numpad 1-12 on the mouse for all my games, and macros .. I like the 2 buttons under the mouse wheel as well as the left and right click of the mouse wheel, creating endless combos of macros and keys not endless really but just the different combinations. The only thing thats bad about the razor naga to me is that under intense gaming you can unintentionally hit one of the numpad keys by mistake. EDIT: It's also good to pair with smaller mechanical gaming keyboards that don't have the 1-12 numpad.
